Thus, nearly all in the audience already knew what to expect at the beginning and were anticipating what was coming. NOBODY was prepared for what Dimash did in the 2nd half of the performance.

He lives with his grandparents, parents, a sister, a brother an other relatives in the same house. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language, didn‘t know the traditions or livestyle in this country and up to that point he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 20 so I can imagine…). And after that performance he saw his dad. So beautiful and emotional. BTW the audience is also the jury. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. I love this video because he still seemed so innocent. Just a boy and he didn't seem as serious as he sometimes is these days. He still looked carefree. Maybe you want to believe it, maybe you don't. Watching Dimash's IG before 2017, you can see that he was living out of a suitcase. He was constantly traveling somewhere, to various cities in his country, very often abroad (Korea, China, Italy, France, Turkey and neighboring countries), and all alone. So the theory that this was the first time he was alone is not true. Even his tour around the country (25 cities, but due to Singer he did not finish it) required a longer stay away from home. He definitely missed home, that's natural, but it wasn't his first independent journey or his first separation. Maybe you can correct the text because I see that you often provide information about leaving your family for a long time. Good luck.

When you do “Story of One Sky”, you must do the MV and then the live Almaty presentation. You will miss out A LOT if you do not do the live version as well.
He didn't win the competition itself, but he did win some episodes, this was one of them. Basically, he was the winner of this competition because almost no one knows who won, but as Dimash says, "winning is not the most important thing, the important thing is his journey" and without a doubt his performance made him recognized throughout China and much of the world. This is a very well known song by the Chinese. The original singer is Vitas a Russian singer famous for high pitch. Dimash went much higher than Vitas who told DiMASH to never sing it again. Unfortunately for Vitas, Dimash made this song go viral in China and everybody notice that DiMASH was better than Vitas. His first song on Singer was SOS that went viral overnight. The audience know this song from the original singer, Vitas, a Russian singer/songwriter. In his original song he took the chorus up just one time, but Dimash took it up three times!! Vitas was not happy and banned Dimash from doing it again, as did Lionel Ritchie after Dimash did his version of Hello on Singer 2018 when he was invited to perform as a special guest. In both cases, Dimash did a phenomenal job and, I thought, they should have thanked him! You should have kept the video playing here as Dimash didn't know his Dad was there and when he spotted him while saying his thankyous, there follows a lovely reunion between father and son which shows the loving relationship they have. 😊🙏💕
"The Story Of One Sky" has heavy war themes, he doesn't sugarcoat the horrors of war. Kazakhstan was taken over by Russia in the 1840s and only gained back its independence in 1991. Their alphabet has changed to Latin, which is why you see Dimash's last name spelled with a K or a Q. (The new spelling is with a Q)

He didn't win the competition itself, but he did win some episodes, this was one of them. Basically, he was the winner of this competition because almost no one knows who won, but as Dimash says, "winning is not the most important thing, the important thing is his journey" and without a doubt his performance made him recognized throughout China and much of the world. This is a very well known song by the Chinese. The original singer is Vitas a Russian singer famous for high pitch. Dimash went much higher than Vitas who told DiMASH to never sing it again. Unfortunately for Vitas, Dimash made this song go viral in China and everybody notice that DiMASH was better than Vitas. Dimash did not win the competition because he was a foreigner; however, China changed that rule after people complained. Take care. ❤️☮️

At the end of this video, it shows Dimash with his dad and he asked his dad twice if he sang good. Dimash did not know his dad was there it was surprise.
His first song on Singer was SOS that went viral overnight. The audience know this song from the original singer, Vitas, a Russian singer/songwriter. In his original song he took the chorus up just one time, but Dimash took it up three times!! Vitas was not happy and banned Dimash from doing it again, as did Lionel Ritchie after Dimash did his version of Hello on Singer 2018 when he was invited to perform as a special guest. In both cases, Dimash did a phenomenal job and, I thought, they should have thanked him!
You should have kept the video playing here as Dimash didn't know his Dad was there and when he spotted him while saying his thankyous, there follows a lovely reunion between father and son which shows the loving relationship they have. 😊🙏💕

Opera 2 is written by a Russian Singer/Songwriter Vitas. Yes, Vitas can also hit those notes, but Dimash's voice is much clearer and stronger, and Dimash kept going up the scale where Vitas only does one key change. The Story of One Sky MV is intense, the live performance is intense, it's a pretty intense song. Great reaction guys, FYI, he placed first in Opera 2. Every week on the Singer they get voted on, but the last 2 episodes are what caused him to be placed 2nd, and the rules at the time of the show.

Sim, este é o Sr. Kanat Aitbayev, pai de Dimash. Ele não sabia que seu pai estava na plateia. No final, quando a apresentação terminou, Dimash o viu e correu para abraçá-lo. Foi muito emocionante! E, enquanto caminhavam em direção ao camarim, Dimash perguntou ao pai se ele tinha se saído bem. O pai respondeu que sim. A humildade de Dimash é uma de suas maiores qualidades.
Como sugestão... primeiro o MV "Story of One Sky", depois a apresentação no show, em Almaty. São emoções únicas!
