Jesus, man!! That is some serious work. That's the kind of work I would expect to see from Kyle Royer. Very nice man! The talent that goes into a blade like that is beyond me.
@@harrykt6846 Kyle strikes me as being on the spectrum. I don't know that for a fact, but from what I've seen..... And I think that's why I enjoy his work so much. If you just met him out in public, the last thing you'd think is, "I bet this dude makes some of the world's most beautiful knives." You would NEVER guess that about him. I think that adds to the amazing talent he has.
@@harrykt6846 If he is on the spectrum that would 1000% explain his insane attention to detail and why even the smallest, most insignificant thing can cause him to spend days fixing it and making it perfect, or even to completely start over again.
I've always been fascinated with metal work and forging but I've never tried it. I was a woodworker/cabinetmaker before a severe back injury put me on disability. I recently had a full lumbar spinal fusion and reconstruction. I have partial paralysis and diminished use of my right leg but I took up painting believe it or not (profile pic is a painting I did for one of my granddaughters). Can't keep me down for long. I still have a ton of time on my hands and I think I found my new spare time distraction here. Thanks a bunch! 😊
Not just a blacksmith, but an artist as well. You make such beautiful pieces, and it takes serious skill to make something meant to kill so beautiful. I own a whole bunch of blades, but not one that is beautiful in the way your pieces are.
Adding that file work to the space behind the guard really looks amazing and makes the most of what was an afterthought to fix a mistake. Great work Dennis!
Most definitely the most beautiful dagger I've ever seen created in my life right before my very eyes. My friend some of your work is the very best i have ever seen with my very own eyes.❤❤❤
An impressive display of technical skill, craftsmanship, and creative vision. I never know what to think about fantasy knives -or swords for that matter- so much work on something that will see no use.
What a work of art. I really hope you are proud of this build. You should be. It gives me Star Trek Romulan marriage ceremony vibes. Very well done. I especially love the hyper black chrome look.
Wow Denis up your game is an understatement I’m amazed you have been able to make such large advances every dagger you make considering it requires so many techniques not really used in other knifes. Amazing work!¡! Keep em coming. I am truly interested in time frames it takes to make these pieces as no one really touches on that. You are truly humble in sharing your techniques and knowledge so freely and I know you are helping the knife community in untold ways to boot my hat is off to you good sir well done
Thanks for your video upload. Wow what a dagger I would be proud to own it. I found the video very interesting how you explained everything step by step. Look forward to seeing more
This looks like a quest reward item you get before you fight the final boss, on whom you have to use this item in order to beat. Spectacular as always.
Real cool stuff, it kinda reminds me of Mehrunes Razor from Skyrim, but way prettier. I love your work, and I find it especially nice to see how you respond to pretty much every single comment ! It warms my heart.
Always looking forward to your next build. This one does not disappoint. Amazing work. Started making knives after seeing one of your builds 2years ago.
I work at a press forge manufacturing company basically doing the same but with a 60,000 tone press making various forging pieces, keep up the good work
The guard is what makes this piece look awesome. Reminds me of a sword from the elder scrolls skyrim video game. The whole piece looks super cool. Great job!
Denis, you make some of the most beautiful daggers and knives! Your designs are beautifully executed! Love your work! I'm an artist myself, so I know what I:m talking about! 🤔😱👍

I didn't see you build the spacer between the guard and the spacer. Did you make it out of left over Damascus?
@@beerdrinkingtraveller3009one was turned on the lathe with mild steel. The flat spacer was made from 15n20. Thanks for watching.
