Great video! I had never thought of using Mysion's ability with the Endeavour. This does make me want to figure out the highest possible damage output from a 10 master. Good things to make this more practical are Mycron and Lord Thomas Gunn (F&S version to get +1 to cannon rolls).
I'm glad you highlighted the downsides of Double Shot. I don't think it's very good.
I think flavor-wise, I enjoy Mysion's ability as a "Crit Roller". It does break a little in that you can just stack +1's and get the extra damage every hit, but still a fun crew.
I am not a huge fan of most equipment because they tend to self-destruct. Fire Shot isn't too bad, but I'd still rather have a firepot for a point less that won't self-destruct.

@@a7xfanben I probably got those point values mixed up, sorry...
I don't like Mysion in practicality because of the self damage, just thematically having come from Role Playing games with crit success/failure.

I'd put longships pretty low on the list of ways to increase damage.
+1 to rolls and rerolling are far more practical ways to increase damage output.
If you're going to copy, 2 masts per hit is easier to obtain and much better to use (fewer rolls for more damage)
