- With so much talk about the upcoming MCU block buster AVENGERS 5, we have some word regarding the potential second villain that we have heard so much about. Perhaps we will be treated to Dr. Doom sooner rather than later, however, we should expect to see his role build up for the long haul. This would be an incredibly dope idea! Dr. Doom is arguably the most iconic villain in all of Marvel -- and top two in ALL comics.
I think Doom should be played by Michael fassbender. Especially after his performance as magneto. Have him debut in a cameo in fantastic 4. Then make him the big bad of the next few sagas.
Now kang you continue to have him be the big bad of this saga, have his variants and have heros from different universes lose, These variants start destroying universes. The heros are brought together and defeat the Variants and the normal avengers, the new Thor, iron man, captain America, black widow, the fantastic 4 & new x-men are moved to the new main universe, while the hero variants ethier die or get moved to a different universe in the end.

I would LOVE to see Fassbender back in the super hero/villain universe as Dr Doom! He already played a European character in Magneto, he definitely looks the part, and he can have
a compelling, eery vibe when he's on screen (Promethius/Alien: Covenant).

I can't see Doom being a Major player in Secret Wars. He still hasn't made one appearance in the MCU to date. I believe they're still going to use Kang as the main antagonist. Marvel is just not talking about Kang to let things chill for a while. As a matter of fact I believe Jonathan Majors will return. Doom needs to be saved for the next Saga. Would you really like to waste him in two films?

I think the redemption arc for Dr. Doom, in the sense of him being a very evil threat and powerful villain, and then when it comes to the conclusive part of the Multiverse Saga, Doom must vindicate his wrongs, have a moral sense of helping the Avengers and take down Kang, and then ultimately have his self-redemption, the same as what Loki did by the end of Loki season 2. In my opinion, this would be a GREAT arc for Dr. Doom!!

This would be good if the MCU approached Doom like Loki - nobody'd heard of Hiddleston before - they were less concerned w a big name and more focused on just finding the perfect actor - as a Romani gypsy, Doom actually has South Asian heritage - and as a ruler he's embedded in geopolitics - with his mixed background, Doom could be a Napoleonic figure, representing our zeitgeist anxieties over Eurasian integration, just like T'Challa did for PanAfricanism, and Namor for Indigenous cultures - maybe Doom discovers Vibranium in Latveria, and joins Wakanda and Talokan in quietly developing his mystical feudal homeland into sci fi futuristic prosperity
- Doom deserves solo treatment - his origin could serve as an epic David Lean trilogy, focusing on his childhood protecting his racially persecuted gypsy tribe; his wanderings in this world and the next as he becomes Doom; and his triumphant return and conquest of Latveria - and Latveria itself deserves its own TV series, just like Wakanda - to match current politics, they could move it to Central Asia, where it could still have Cold War history as a post-Soviet republic, but also have closer ties to the Middle East, China, and India
I want to see :-
- Doom being set up as a good guy in Fantastic Four, but later after the reboot, he slowly becomes evil and by the end of the next Saga, he becomes the big bad.
- Between Avengers 5 and Secret Wars, Thor 5 should explore Thor learning the truth behing Loki's Yggdrassil and Kang.
- Also between Avengers 5 and Secret Wars, Doctor Strange and Shang-Chi sequels of them exploring the multiverse, learning about the core concpets of incursions and how to aoid/fix them.
- Loki giving the final blow to the Main Prime Kang/Beyonder Kang, win the Multiversal War and go skiing with Morbius and Sylvie and other heroes being happy like the Endgame ending scene where they show all the heroes returning to their lives after the Blip.
Bring back Majors as Kang and finish his story. Doom can wait till the next saga, multiverse saga belongs to Kang. We want Jonathan Majors as Kang and we want Kang Dynasty!
I'm not entirely convinced that Jonathan Majors won't return to play Kang. Think about it, there hasn't been any mention of JM's or Kang since Marvel let him go. Majors lays low, stays out of trouble. May even get counseling to help his image. Feigi probably planned this before the verdict and told Majors we're going to have to fire you, however you stay out of sight. Your new role is a ghost until we announce that you deserve a second chance like all Americans who simply made a mistake and shouldn't have to pay for it for a lifetime. We're the Land of the Free right? FREE KANG DAMMIT! FREE HIM NOW!

To be honest, they would’ve been just fine having Jonathan Majors continue as being Kang. The case has been over for months now, Hell, a couple of people I talk to had even forgotten about it at this point. I think they should’ve just waited and not been so hasty to just fire him the day of the verdict.

It would be great if they keep teasing someone pulling the strings and making moves behind the scenes, heroes trying to find this person and they believe it is Kang. Then during secret wars doom aids the heroes and actually ends the Kang threat being a hero in their eyes. Later on he is revealed to the audience via another move or post credit that the person who was making the moves was Doom all along and now he has Kang tech, superior magic, and is ready to take over everything....

We definitely need Dr. Doom in the MCU but having him as the big bad for Secret Wars feels way too soon. Marvel has already set up Kang and right now they can't branch off from him. Yes I know the Jonathan Majors situation is complicated but I'm still split on whether or not they should recast or bring back Major. I've said it before and I'll say it again...HE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE! While at the same time I could someone else taking on the role like Coleman Domingo as we talked about before but it's going to be hard to top the performance level that Majors brought. So Marvel really needs to think hard about this.

I kind of wish they brought in Doom as Infamous Iron Man. Having Victor take over the mantle like they did in the comic would have been a way to bring him into the MCU before the F4 hit the big screen.

All I remember is everybody was incredibly hyped to have that keyboard racist back, welcomed him with open arms. Then he went on to write, produce and direct the best movie of phase 4 saving Marvels ass. FREE KANG!

Kang is an enemy out of time and the EASIEST villain to put on “pause”. Come back to Kang after the bad taste left in everyone’s mouth due to Jonathan Majors.

I know Giancarlo Esposito got a new role at Marvel tbats gonna be sticking around. I know its probably not him, but he would make a perfect recast of Kang. He is an excellent actor & has played villain roles before.

This proposal outlines a strategy for setting up the "Secret Wars" event as a culminating battle between two major villains: Kang the Conqueror and Doctor Doom.
Doom's Threat:
While some might worry that a short film wouldn't do justice to Doctor Doom, here's a suggestion for establishing him as a consistent threat throughout other projects leading up to "Secret Wars."
Kang Variants:
Shang-Chi 2: Introduce a Kang variant - the Scarlet Centurion - who claims the Ten Rings.
Thor 5: Introduce Immortus, another Kang variant, who seeks a time-displaced Necrosword and/or Quantum Bands.
Fantastic Four: Introduce Rama-Tut, a Kang variant, who claims a Celestial ship and/or Quantum Bands.
Moon Knight Season 2: Introduce Rama-Tut and Iron Lad (a member of the Young Avengers) who attempts to stop Kang's rise, inadvertently accelerating it. These variants are ultimately defeated and absorbed by Kang Prime, who transforms into a more powerful being.
Doom's Multifaceted Threat:
Agatha: Doom could cameo or be the main villain, stealing a powerful spellbook.
Fantastic Four: Doom could cameo here, harboring a thirst for vengeance against Reed Richards.
Vision Quest: Doom could reverse engineer Vision's technology to create Doombots.
Armor Wars: Doom could significantly upgrade his armor using stolen Stark technology.
Iron Heart: Doom could steal vibranium detection technology from Iron Heart.
Black Panther 3: Doom could use an army of Doombots to steal vibranium and further upgrade his armor.
Young Avengers: Doom could attempt to steal Wanda's power.
Silver Surfer Project: Doom could try to steal the Silver Surfer's power.
Doctor Strange 3: Doom could initially collaborate with Doctor Strange to free his mother's soul from hell before the collapse of reality becomes imminent.
Impact:
By appearing or having cameos in up to nine projects before "Secret Wars," Doom would be established as a major threat with a significant impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While ambitious, this approach would pay off by building upon existing lore and staying true to the comic book narrative.
Secert Wars should be a war between Kang and Doom.
I would be disappointed that Majors won't return as Kang, buy I would be excited if it's someone like Chukwudi Iwuji or someone else. And I definitely love the idea that they're going to treat Dr. Doom like Loki, but obviously they have to see him up first. And I have the perfect idea how if anyone is interested. Can't wait and love the MCU
I’m glad they’re not yet using Doctor Doom as a main villain right now. They need more time to build up his character and his role in the MCU. If he’s the next big bad villain for the next saga, this will spark more interest for the soft reboot.
Listen, whatever Marvel Studios plans 2 do 4 the big finale, both Doctor Doom and/or Kang the Conqueror will be satisfied for all the Marvel fans out there as long Marvel Studios does the story right and good.
Doom really needs a solid backstory. I hope they don’t make him all bad because he’s really not. He once conquered a world in a different universe where he attained world peace.
All i know for sure is Doom will be a villian primarily. Until the very end of his Arc. And then he will turn good. Guaranteed. Similar to Magneto

First delay avengers secret wars to 2030 and start setting up Doom in post credits scenes like fantastic 4 and be in Dr strange 3 and black panther 3. That’s how you do Doom and then you make be the big bad for avengers secret wars.

Since he and Reed are associated, he could be working together, or trying to outrace each other, and he could get his hideous scar due to a miscalculation.

It should be a reverse Loki: Doom starts out working with the heros during the multiverse saga. Post-multiverse, Doom mixes it up with the FF first- Reed recognizes doom is a threat when other hero’s don’t ands the FF put him down. Doom’s loss to the FF drives him to become more powerful and a bigger threat, sometimes in the background, sometimes out in front. X-men mix it up with the Avengers, and by the time things settle down there, Doom has amassed a huge amount of power and all of the heros must come together to stop him.
Shang Chi is so smart on it's magical side. Idk what kind of villain that still just says Kang or time makes sense for that movie sequel.
I hope they have already casted Dr Doom and it keeping under lock and key. And that from now on, he will be placed in as many projects as Disney can. Even if he’s from a different universe like the F4, I would like to see small post credit scenes into that universe just to have his introduction. I think if they could start building him towards the end of Phase 5 then he could be the main antagonist of Secret Wars with him becoming God Doom. I just truly hope to see God Doom on the screen.

I see a lot of people wanting Cillian Murphy to be Doom but also want Doom to be developed and have time to allow us understand him and his motives, which might take a few movies, which is totally be fine but let's be realistic Cillian Murphy is 48, by the time Doom is developed after a few movies Murphy might be pushing 60, these are huge productions that take a lot of time, with a lot of reshoots, and I doubt we're getting a Fantastic Four movie (or maybe even a Doom specific movie) one after another without pause for another MCU character to have their movie. I mean look at the original cast from the first few MCU phases, most of them were in and out of Marvel productions for almost 10-12 years, and how important Doom is and how badly we all want him and want to see his character grow and not be some one-and-done easily forgotten villain his character will probably be in-and-out of various storylines within the MCU for about that same time, 10-12 years. And a lot of those cast members who were in the MCU that long, i.e. Chris Evans, all started late 20s, early 30s, and 'retired' from the MCU when they around 40. RDJ started played Tony Stark starting at like 41 for him, and ended when he was like 52, At 48 RDJ has played Iron Man at least half a dozen times by then or more, the same age Cillian Murphy will be starting Doom. At 52 Cillian Murphy may have one appearance down as Doom, the same time RDJ played all his Tony Stark and was done. I mean no hate for Murphy, I just think they should go for someone younger, and physically larger as well. I don't want to sound ageist, but this is a role for a younger actor, I just don't want to see a 5'8 Grandpa Doom up there trying to flirt with Sue Storm.
