Great playing! Do you have patch you can share? It sounds awesome.
Hey Robert thanks! After I upgraded to Yosemite on my Macbook, I can't get my Line 6 tone edit software to work, or else I'd be able to send you the patch file. I'll try and write down my settings for you when I get some free time.
***** Thank you, Vito! It would be nice if you could do that. I don't have enough skill to create my own patches yet. Once again, great job at covering this masterpiece.
Hey Robert, sorry it has taken me a long time to respond. Here are the settings I use on my Line 6 Pod X3 Live. HEAVY TONE - Amp is 2002 Criminal 0% bypass volume, and 33% room. 4x12 01 Treadplate cab with 57 off axis mic. The settings on the amp are 74% bass, 100% mid, 100% treble, 83% press, 49% drive, and 70% volume. I also add a Tube Drive distortion pedal and the settings on that are 71% drive, 70% gain, 50% treble, and 67% bass. I also add a parametric EQ and those settings are +1.8db lo gn, +3.0db lm gn, +3.0db hm gn, +2.4db hi gb, 100 lo fq, 250 lm fq, 2.1k hm fq, and 3.0k hi fq. I use the noise gate pedal as well with these settings -30db threshold, and 5% decay. LEAD TONE - exact same as the heavy tone, but I also add the compressor with 0db threshold, and +2db gain. I also add the analog delay pedal and those settings are 499ms, quarter note, 24% mix, 50% bass, 50% treble, 38% feedback, and post config. The noise gate on the lead channel is set to -65db threshold, and 5% decay.
***** Thank you, Vito! I tried this yesterday and it hears really good. I have to do a little bit more tweaking to match my equipment. Great job!
Awesome Robert, thanks!
But shit is awesome dude. Fucking mint👌🏻
Thanks so much!
What's the tunning?
Half step down.
Use. Real amp or amp sims?
I used a Line 6 Pod X3 Live for this tone.
Did you play with a click track as well as the backing track?? Your tempo is almost flawless
Thanks, Rick! I think I just played along to the original track if I remember correctly. It was a while ago, haha.
isn't the intro played on a 12 string?
Chuck Peterson it is, but I don't have one, haha.
