- This video we will be looking at one of the best OSRS money makers 2021... Vorkath. We will be looking at 4 different gear set ups, A 100k budget vorkath set up, a 15m set up, max melee and a max range set up. We will see how many kills per hour and see how much profit we can make.

Idk if its been mentioned, but a free upgrade to the budget setup would be shayzien boots 5, they're just a bit better than snakeskin boots. They have +1 range boost over the snakeskin and a decent bit more defenses
I use these at zulrah too, give magic attack bonus and range

I think dragon crossbow with dragon bolts would have been better option for mid setup than blowpipe and bgs
Yeah 100% agree, especially with the blowpipe nerf. I always find it a lot more chill with a crossbow, seem to take a lot less damage plus I always get more kills per trip. Just slightly slower kills.

This is a good video but I will say, I'm sitting at 77 Defense, 82 Magic, 84 Ranged, 74 prayer, 85 hp and your stats (99 ranged especially) will skew how many kills per hour you can get with each setup. If you have higher stats it's easier to get away with more kills per trip on cheaper gear, but the player who only has budget gear at lower stats is probably gonna have a harder time sustaining out those trips. Even with a dragon crossbow with dragon rubies and diamonds, and full reg void I was struggling for 2 kc per trip til I hit 84 ranged (I started vorkath at 82) and 77 defense (I started at 75). And this is with rigour.
very true, high ranged and magic( or other prayer) play a massive part in how much supplies you use and how long your trips are.

can confirm at less than 80 range I can get tops two kills a trip in full void, ruby e bolts and a dhc

I ranges for my first 1k kc and go boring. I do max melee now. A lot more fun plus woox walk makes you feel like a pro!
Yeah range is more afk in my opinion but I really did enjoy using melee for this video. Might do it a lot more in the future. Yeah it’s a great feeling when you get the woox walk down 😂

Since blow pipe is so much GP in supplies I wonder how budget set up would be with blessed d'hide boots, dragon c-bow, same bolts you used, and archers ring imbued since all that isn't too much.
i cant wrap my head around it but my d cbow runs are way better than my blowpipe runs. I dont have void, do have bandos godsword, imbued archers, salve, enchanted bolts. idk why. i get damaged too ahrd with blowpipe.
@@biggringus5499 Yea that's what I was thinking. DFS also provides good defense and it's super cheap, only -5 range bonus too until I can afford a dragonfire ward. Or even odium ward but I wonder if the extra dragon fire protection means I don't have to buy those expensive super antifire potions

It's totally worth it, even if you just do an hour here and there the money really starts adding up.
I wonder how addy darts compare to rune for the blowpipe… considering the addy darts are 22gp ea and rune are 333… I wonder if the lower dps would come out to more gp per hour considering their lost cost
no it wouldnt because you save most of your darts with the avas assembler, and if you even get one more kill per hour then you pay for your darts tenfold
i use dragon bolts with dhcb and get a few more kills an hour which pays for the bolts and then some and also allows more kills per trip which means less bank time
Nah man the amount you lose compared to how much you gain isn't worth going for lower dps

I think I recorded this just over a month ago. It took a while to get round to editing and I like to be 4 or so weeks ahead with videos so if something comes up I always have content coming out.
Is serp helm better than faceguard? Like the defence or the plus 1 strength boost. I also saw some people say slayer helm is best especially on task is this true?
I’m pretty sure the face guard is best as it’s slightly more DPS. I don’t think the slayer helm beats the salve + face guard as the salve gives 20% over the 15% damage from the slayer helm and they don’t stack. Hope this helps 👍

Rigour or dragonfire ward? Can only afford 1 atm rn using ward. Using normal void salve (ei) archer (I) blessed boot and normal dragon crossbow
I would go for rigour as its more versatile and can be used at most bosses. Dragonfire ward is good but purely for vorkath.
did you prayer flick since you only used 10 prayer pots with both piety and protect from missile?

Is god d’hide better with lower stats than void ?
If I’m using anti dragon shield, can I use extended anti fire pot instead of super anti pot
You can but you will still take a bit of damage from some of the fire attacks. If you want to maximise the amount of kills per trip, super antifire will over time be a lot more profitable

Its double mate, you count the drops as you profit but the drops are based upon RNG.
How can you say one set makes more profit than the other while in fact one run you could just be more luckier than the others.
This works, if you go on for 30 hours per gear setup and then take the avarage but still you won't have a solid foundation.

Yeah the blowpipe will be less profitable

one thing to notice on your supply costs and that you didint mention is the fact that you spent so little on pray pots because you are 99 prayer

Plus ranged and def lvl plays a big role. Im 71 def and 90 ranged and get 1-2 kills. Using karambwan and sharks.
Ok guys If you are watching this and you are like me and wondering why you are getting 4:30 kills on average with better gear then the 100k setup, it's because your range is not 99 like OP. If your range is 82 it would be vastly better to grind to 88 or 90 then spend 80m on dhcb.
Yeah higher range level will always be more cost effective at getting better dps. If you have the money for a DHCB still a good investment. Could do brutal black dragons with it for really good xp and profit.
What if i do have 88 ranged and my best kill so far is 4:25 and im using a better setup

So what's the point of the karams? I've seen a few people use them, seems kinda pointless
The karams act as a tick eat food. You can eat a karam and a manta on the same tick. Means you can get a large heal and can keep a higher dps on vorkath
Lol if you need combo eats at vork you're bad
How so? Surely if you get unlucky and hit below 30hp between phases it's better to heal as much as possible without losing ticks and keeping high dps?
@@NibzScape i'm a zerk and i have never brought combo eats and still manage 4 or 5 kill trips. Bringing combo food just means less hp healed overall which means shorter trips. I just bring sharks and 1 brew. Better off healing right up at every opportunity i.e special phases and between kills
Yeah to be honest these days I only take 1 or 2 but rarely use them. Only in the rare case I need to heal in between the special attacks. The rest is just manta rays. I get consistent 6 kill trips so does me pretty well.

Why is void bis for vorkath and not armadyl or something
The bonus damage of void stacks with the salve amulet. It works out better dps with the max hits over the higher accuracy

@@InconspicuousStranger Even regular void still beats it out. That stacking effect from void+salve is just huge. Vorkath is one of the very rare situations where even the slayer helm is still only second best to void+salve.

Nope, the damage bonus of void and salve stack so it’s better in every circumstance. Even melee is better with salve.

Yep, it’s much more dps which is more important. Obviously the avernic defender is best in slot, I just didn’t have quite enough money for it 😂

You'll get there. You just need to get the mechanics down. I did 100 kills with like 80 range and a rune crossbow on my ironman
@@NibzScape Reaction time matters a lot more for Vork than anything I've done previously. I can do fight cave jad half asleep but Vork is just a bad time.
See I’m going for my first kill using the blow pipe but I feel like the extra damage you take from the range is not worth using blow pipe
Yeah honestly after the blowpipe nerf I'd go for the dragon crossbow. It's cheaper and I'm pretty sure it's better or at least pretty close to the blowpipe.
So i finished ds2 two weeks ago and just got my 100th vorkath kill today, I'm just using non elite void with salve, archers i, avas, blessed boots and dragon crossbow and there's mostly no problems, hopefully you're doing just as good
10 hours to get void?
It is 6 hours to get void alone but getting the requirements to wear elite is bs.
First you need the diarys and not to mentioned only bone to peaches is already another 6 hours.
Void comes down to, if you don't have nearly max skills and gear, don't even bother, god hide is just as good if not better in most situations.
Only time it is better than void is rng so can't be seen as a stable upgrade.
I'm that person who wasted time getting elite void, beside a handful of range with mele defense situation, that gear is useless.
Why do you keep saying void and salve ammy are free?
Time spent getting them should be factored in because time=money
Yeah I guess it could be but technically they are untradeable items that you get without earning GP. In my opinion for a main account things like barrows gloves, void, salve ammy are a must regardless how long they take.

Normal void is pretty easy to get and absolutely fine for vorkath. The elite doesn't really add that much.
