- This time we are doing a trip with a difference...
Not sure about some of you that are based in the UK but we are pretty sick of the UK wet and cold winters. The summers are not that far behind either! So this time the plan is to get our shop van and 2wd Adventure Camper, The Vanagwan to Spain for the winter months. We found at least one place in the south of Spain that does van storage and the plan is to keep The Vanagwan there over the winter so we can make the most of cheap flights to Saville from Gatwick airport. This should stop us from going crazy over the winter and have a place to go in the sun for long weekends or weeks away.
This video series we have named The Great Escape is to document the month long trip to find good winter storage in the sun and to share the adventure of doing so.

Your crossing looked great! Ferries down the Bay of Biscay outside of summer can be a game of Russian roulette. We did Portsmouth to Bilbao, it was _very_ bad, you could hear the engines speeding up every wave, as the props left the water. I still have Vietnam style flashbacks, and it was 20 years ago!
We had it bad when we did our Morocco trip 11 yards ago. I almost didn't take this one because of that but so glad I gave it a second chance.

Good to see you out on the adventure road again Jed. Just be careful driving in flip flops over there the fuzz don't like it but they are happy to take your euros if they catch you. 😆
