Kate is one of the bravest, true to her art talents in the history of music. I say this because she sounds like nobody else, and never tried to. She wrote and sang songs as SHE saw the world. If others like it, fine if not, that's ok too. She stayed true to HER art. Glad that the world once again is catching up with her art form. It's Kate "being Kate" and honest work of the highest caliber
A mobile microphone kit like the one Kate Bush was wearing, was quite something in those days.......as a child in the 1970s I don't ever recall any artist having that facility.
I think it's a lot more than that. It's an inbuilt inspiration that women possess to go out there and create. It's a basic driver of life symbolised and perhaps fuelled by the potential. As a man it inspires me, and perhaps that's the point.

She is so completely awe inspiring and as we all say just one of a handful of truly unique artists from history, so many people love her and relate to her songs, and like me wish her to be more out in the world than she is nowadays, like a rare gem. I would have given anything to see her last concert, and if it’s not too morbid I’ve got Kaye songs planned for my funeral lol 🤪
I would tend to disagree, though it certainly turned out true in her case. There's a common theme in her work that she celebrates the things that make men and women different, and that she could empathise or be critical of either gender with alarming insight.
@@mikicoal there are woman like me for example who, grow up wanting to be mothers (I'm a grandmother now). Some women do not care for it, while there are some that can't bear a child. This song definitely inspires those who want to become mothers at some point, there is no question about that in my mind.
