Returning since 2021 and bought it for $8. Been having a blast for few days.
The way you explain the game is exactly how I am doing it, I play every day and I enjoy the game on the console. I also have over 3,000 hrs of VR racing on PC. Good video Thumbs up
Are there other games you would recommend ? I like shooters and keep on playing bf 2042 even with the flaws.

I just bought it on discount and I enjoy it ,lots of map, definitly worth it now (last time I played BFV, BF3 and BF2). It's good time to start. I don't like music tho... I had to turn music off so annoying, it's not fit to game, painful to hear while gaming for couple of hours
first things first, I dig your content. keep it coming. now to make some peeps sad:
For me it's like this: you either like BF... or you don't (I happen to like it). The point being is that there are not many casual BF players. I don't look to BF titles for dozens of weapons, skins and camos, or 3 lane/route maps. I look to BF for sprawling maps and unpredictable outcomes and I look to BF games for the mechanics. Another important component of BF is the classes and the importance of team play. If a player likes quick games that are repeatable and relatively predictable, then COD is your best bet, and don't get me wrong, I enjoy a round or 2 of small map TDM. The problem that I see is that there is a small and very vocal part of the BF community who are living in the past with BF, you know the type. It's all about BF4 with them. These dudes hated on BF1 and then went on to ruin BFV with their complaining about TTK. BF1 was arguably one of the best FPS games of all times and BFV was pretty damned good... the BF4 simps just couldn't let let go (and still can't). Did 2042 have a rough launch? Absolutely. Even with that being the case, 2042 has evolved, improved and progressed... just like gaming in general. For those who want to see every BF release be a rehashed version of BF4, I would recommend that you just move to COD. Again, not hate for COD because I am a player. It is just that if you want the same game over and over, that's what COD titles are.
Thats right, i think exactly the same. The true is that, Bf 2042 was a disaster at launch, but now is a great game, but the reason to be in "res numbers" is for those hate comments from the same community, they are killing not only thia game, they are killing Battlefield, the next game might be the last one if this happen again
I definitely agree with your take on the current core players. I only play a couple hours a day. The inconsistent gunfights really frustrate me.
Play solo/co op mode then don't quit for the day that's what I do and put the ai on intermediate difficulty, games last a long time don't play advanced difficulty alone cause you have to carry the friendly bots alot and it makes it not fun.
Bruh this game is a solid shooter (before the last update) but not a classic BF title. I miss really times from BF 2- BF3/4 There was no BP or skins, but excellent gameplay, gunplay, balance and at least enough well designed maps! This keeps you going to play and have good time. Nowadays everyone is just goin for fkin cosmetics in shop and thats the reason why devs become more and more lazy. Does anyone remember the premium pack?

It's worth playing if there is something to play for, like new players have all the T1 skins and challenges they can grind through, but for returning players, it's fun for a couple games then boring. Even with "new" content the game gets stale after 2 days cause there is such a lack of it.. Personally I can play for like 4 hours a day since I'm trying to gind montage clips, otherwise I would play 2042 maybe once a week if that.
Appreciate you taking the time to give such detailed feedback. It helps to see the game from different viewpoints.
@NeonPWA of course man! like you I enjoy the game for what it is, but with only 1 map it gets very stale. I just hope this trend does not continue for the next BF.
you say "It's worth playing if there is something to play for...", and I don't get that. BF titles, in general, rely on skill. Personally, I dont play BF titles to grind skins and calling card rewards. But that's just me
@@choosing.tangent People play games for different reasons, I too play for the skill and general enjoyment of the gameplay, hence why people still play BF1, BF4 etc cause the games are just fun. 2042 offers very little in the way of good content so playing for T1 skins and things is a way to still keep people who do enjoy the game, interested. Also the new players to the series will have something to do out the gate while they learn and understand the Battlefield formula.
Try to achieve 100 rank first for in Sns 7 first, bro!!
Call of Duty season 3 will have more new maps than Battlefield has put out, in total there will be four new multiplayer maps two brand new ones, one repurposed map and a remastered map.
I feel sorry for the newer generation Cod players, they play trash games without even knowing it.. Why can't the new Cods just be like Bo2.

I feel it got worse ... Feels unbalanced.
Many of the "new" players are clueless and annoying. Get into a vehicle at your own risk for example.
This game was never worth it. It's still a piece of sht.
