Sandler (John Considine) takes Danny (Scott Bellis) to his manufacturing plant and Mac comes for rescue. He attaches rubber glove to gas valve ,release gas, and mounts a light bulb near to it. When Sandler comes by, Mac throws the clay that shatters the bulb and sparks off the gas!

It was nice to see somebody be a hero and solve problems with there minds instead of force or a gun. It was different. Thats what make this show so memorable

I'm glad MacGyver was able to predict that his enemy would stand right by that light bulb so he could throw a clay ball at the light bulb AND hit the target. Not too many people out there can do the same.
Just enjoy the show. And he knew that running a certain way so that the villain would see it would trigger him to walk towards it. It's not that hard.
@Tim Summers *You've obviously never watched bear grylls where he shows a way to increase the chance of a trap to succeed from "maybe" to "100%" is to FUNNEL the enemy to the trap itself, he lured the enemy by RUNNING into the direction he could trick him. ALSO he used the bright orange balloon to lure and stop the enemy there, did you even pay attention to the video??*

I came here for a good laugh at MacGyver.... but...that was pretty smooth...
MacGyver doesn't use guns... But has NO problem blowing someone up.. Damn, MacGyver is stone cold!

The weird thing is Hoping to find something to smash a lightbulb right when A killer standing next to it ISN'T the most desperate thing Mac has done.
