For those who are deciding what truck to get. I am lucky enough to have a ‘22 SLT X31 - with the 6.2. By far the best vehicle I have ever driven. Smooth ride, GMC knocked this truck out of the park. The new tech is glitchy some days - but you will find that with new tech. They offer software updates and it has slowly been getting better. Go out and test drive one of these trucks - you won’t regret it.
It’s genuinely impressive. On all trims except the highest luxury level, the interiors are better than Ford and Ram IMO. That said, I still think Ford’s Platinum/Limited and Ram’s Limited/Longhorn interiors look better than GM’s Denali/high country though…

All those things you mentioned sunroof sliding glass window you can definitely get those on a SLT and it's still a bargain compared to Denali. If you get the X31 package you can also get the four low
Can get a fully loaded Elevation trim with the same features for like a $1-2k more. That’s what Id do. The monochrome blacked out looks much better than chrome everywhere IMO Edit: silver looks pretty good on the SLT though, makes the chrome blend in a lot better than other colors would.
Like your video when you explained the deal you got on the Ram rebel- like $44 k if I remember lol- then the same truck was like $8 more.. well I got my 21 GMC AT4 baby diesel for $52k with MSRP $61k about a year ago- damm those increases though!! Great review bro.
Ben. I'm getting to the point that the ridiculous turbo lag on my 22 ecodiesel ram is overshadowing all the amazing features on the limited model. I want to go back to the 1500 Sierra Denali with the 3.0 duramax but saw your video about trucks showing up without features like supercruise or adaptive cruise. Is that issue getting resolved or would you recommend I wait to order. I don't mind taking delivery of a truck without some features if they are installed later but don't want to sell my ram only to discover months later that my custom order Sierra is missing the things I wanted. Thoughts?
Am in same boat....I want to get out of my Ram and go back to gmc....I had a deal on one but no multi pro tailgate......dealer needed a sale so the numbers were really good but I passed.....now am not seeing anything close to that deal so may have to wait a few years.....my Ram is fine just not as solid as my GMC....plus bed space is alot bigger in GM
I just ordered one of these, fully loaded SLT with a diesel and max tow package. I was willing to get a Denali but couldn’t get the max tow package and that was a dealbreaker for me I really wish I could get the tech package from the Denali in this but oh well I’m super excited I’m waiting for it to come. The gas mileage with a diesel in the max tow package Is just too good to pass up.
Truck is beautiful, but unfortunately a lot of people are experiencing issues under 5000 miles. Currently the refresh Sierra has 4 known problems. Engine, Electrical, Paint, and Brakes.
@@cliffordzellner5917 after 14 vortec wasn’t the supplier for the engine my uncle has a 21 GMC Sierra Denali at around 30,000 miles engine Fried two pistons and I have had problems with my 20 and now 21 ram 1500 5.7L all new vehicles are computers on wheels I’ve learned the hard way get the bumper to bumper warranty it’s worth the money
I was looking for a comment like this. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my 21 slt 5.3 to the 23 slt with the 6.2 but I’m worried about first gen stuff like this and I like my column shifter. The electronic ones are cool looking, but I’m unsure about how reliable they are.
Hey Ben great job. Early March I ordered an SLT with the Duramax. To date no firm update from the dealer when it will arrive. I do see more of these trucks arriving with the diesel in the Deneli and AT4 configurations which begs the question, is GMC prioritizing shipping these trucks based on trim level?

I'm not that picky about wheels but those are the ugliest oem wheels I have ever seen. GM should give buyers a credit for taking them.
They're not the ugliest ones I've seen. The wheels on the Refreshed Silverado HighCountry are really ugly in my opinion.

SLT isn't great value at all. Leather seats, cup holders and bose stereo basically cost you $10k over the SLE. Depends what you want tho I guess.

You don’t get ventilated seats on the elevation, Nor the passenger 10 way power. I believe it’s the same with the folding mirrors.
Yeah elevation is limited vs SLT for options...and price is similar

Went from best looking truck to looking like a dopey ass canyon. Disgusting front
