Superman can't time Travel

My how times have changed. Over the years superheroes have become more and more powerful. Characters such as Thor, Iron Man, Superman and even Batman have become insanely powerful than what they used to be.
There was a time when Superman could NOT time travel as seen in this early 1950s clip for his own TV series. It appears that the Superfriends TV show and Superman The Movie of 1978 changed that thought to what we have today.
So should Superman do the incredible?
