Great video! A question: can I just promote my books everyday on my tiktok account? Everyone says you're not supposed to just promote your stuff; you have to provide different contents and only promote your stuff once a week.
Thank you very much for the compliment. I’m not exactly sure who said that, but you can’t generalize. It really depends on the type of books you’re selling and your goals. If your goal is solely to sell, making other types of videos probably won’t be necessary. However, if, for example, you’re an author and want to build a strong personal brand, it makes sense to create completely different content and dedicate only a few videos specifically to selling. If you’re publishing low-content books, this likely won’t be as useful, so I’d focus purely on sales. In the case of high-content books, it really depends on your situation, but it makes much more sense.
I’m sorry about this, but there are plenty of other strategies out there. In fact, I’m personally testing some others, so I’ll definitely talk about them as soon as I have solid data on them. In any case, I recommend focusing on Instagram, though that’s pretty obvious. Something more underrated that I’ve been testing these past few months is Pinterest. I’d suggest learning a bit about how it works and giving it a try if you’re interested! I hope this was helpful 💪🏻
I like this idea a lot, thank you.
