My grandfather had a farm, and got a newspaper on Sundays after church. He’s gone now, but he would say the new technology will bombard people and it won’t be good for their soul. He was correct. It’s just too negative. I have to tune out, or it brings me down. Nice of you to share your true feelings. You’re not alone on this journey. 😊

I struggle with depression, but watching your videos is cathartic for me because you help me feel less alone with my struggle. I adore you and I appreciate how honest and vulnerable you are and I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that feels this way. ❤️

I started a new job at age 58. I thought no one would ever hire me at that age but it turned out to be the best job I ever had.

Shirley here, I loved working out side the home, I worked at my company over 30 years and retired and worked there just part time. Now retired but when you work at a full time job ever since your out if school then u enjoy your retirement. Same with my husband. I can take my time doing things stay up later get up later. I think getting a job outside of home u might really enjoy it. Your still so young.

I started my second career at 42 after a health issue I had to deal with for over a year. I’ve done better than I could have ever hoped so don’t think your age is a thing. If you find something that peaks your interest don’t hesitate to look into it.

I always enjoy your videos. You just have a calming demeanor even when troubled. Being a senior and a widow after losing my husband last year finances scare me so bad. Price of food keeps going up. My rent is quite high. It’s really scary. I can’t go back to work at this age. I have a lot of health problems more than I care to say. Life in general is just scary. My lupus and RA or are becoming almost debilitating, but I can’t afford to go into any kind of assisted-living. I didn’t know I could order Whole Foods from Amazon prime that would be great because where I’m living. I don’t have a Whole Foods nearby.

Amanda, don’t worry so much, if you want to look for a job outside of your own work. Don’t worry about 20 year old kids, they are pretty bad at working. You have lots of skills and could do anything. I love your videos so much. I appreciate you showing us your life & struggles.

Don't worry about age! I am 52 and still getting jobs and people do want to hire me. Yes, I ask for quite a bit more money, but there are definitely companies that value experience and they know the rates for experienced people. You might not get your ideal rate out of the gate, but you can work up to that for sure. It's definitely less stressful to not have to worry a lot about money.

I am having dread and anxiety on a daily basis myself with the stress of the worlds issues. I am also trying to put together a working budget for myself as it is getting harder to save any money with everything going up every month. I have just moved to Minnesota from Eastern Washington and before that lived in Gig Harbor for many years after being born and raised in Tacoma. Miss the mountains so really enjoy the short snippits of yours showing the water and mountain range from your home. Loved visiting Seattle most of my life. Thanks for your vlogs Amanda.

As I'm sure you know, depression is an ugly, ugly thing. It takes absolutely everything away from you. I have fought it for more years than I can count. It takes away your energy, it takes away any interest in absolutely everything. There is a doom and gloom that's constantly hanging over your head, and you feel horribly bad physically. If you haven't already, please talk to your doctor about how you're feeling. ❤😢

I hope you don't mind me asking what health insurance coverage you have that covers your cancer care and follow ups.
I have learned that we need to live our lives based on our true nature. Not everyone is made to live in the rat race.
My Mom used to tell me how tired she was going to the doctors. She felt like a revolving door patient.
    Live true to yourself.
Try to get laughter into your life every day even if it means laying on the floor playing and laughing with your goofy dog.

I don't know how anyone can budget. Go to grocery store prices are way different every time as in+, go to the farmers market prices +, open utility bills +, car insurance +, rent went up but it's a steady price, cell phone hasn't gone up. Inflation is up, the economy isn't all sunshine "I still believe it's going to burst", labor market isn't what they say it is "I know 9 people laid off in the past 5 weeks" & then the price of gasoline " I don't drive very much but others have to". Energy levels: with everything you have been through, going through as in treatment, plus the psychological effects of it all. Your body & mind need to heal, I think your pushing it a little too hard & if you want to do a challenge make it fit you! Sometimes we want to move forward faster but we can't because the body & mind isn't ready to be more active and stressed out. The proper word would be Traumatized. The world going nut's isn't helping either.
One a more positive note when you were in the kitchen with groceries I noticed something: Amanda is getting her butt back,"You Go Girl" Peace & love to you all 🌈 🌷

Maybe it’s grief and not just depression?? I’ve been finding doing some grief work has been helping with the “new” me after being sick. And yes I believe grief behaves differently than depression.

Sorry Amanda for your struggles. Try and stay in the day. Taking the drugs for your treatment can be a challenge due to how your body reacts. When I was on hormone suppressants my body hurt…the acceptance was hard. Treat yourself kindly and do your best for you. 💕🌸

I'd watch so much more often if that distracting music wasn't in the background. I hate it so much. Thought I'd just be honest and give feedback why I'm not watching as much.
