I've been writing A LOT lately on my Substack. I will be sharing so many thoughts over the next few weeks/months. You can find the link below but here is my weekly/monthly schedule:
Sundays: Soulful Sundays - Longer form essay discussing various thoughts and experiences I'm going through or have gone through.
Fridays: Creative Fridays - Shorter style essays focusing more on things I create/do.
Last day of the month: Casual Curation - a highlight of everything I've been loving over the month

Enjoy watching your videos. My wife is finishing up chemo. She will have had 7 treatments of Taxol/Keytruda and carboplatin. And it is a journey for all involved. Started last August with a diagnosis of grade 1a endometrial cancer, with no further treatment needed. At 6 month checkup, surprise, there was a pelvic tumor. After 7 treatments she will start, like you did, maintenance Keytruda. Chemo is just nasty. sometimes as I watch her I think the treatment is as nasty as the disease. But she, like you is a survivor and a fighter! Thanks for the videos. It's nice to put a face, and hear the stories of other cancer patients. Sometimes you feel like you are the only one in the world. Prayers to you!
I’m so sorry your wife is going through this. Sending the both of you so much love ❤️
Thank you!
The wig looks beautiful! I also bought one the first time i had chemo and never felt well enough to go anywhere to wear it. It sits there to this day. I'm now in a reoccurrance and lost hair again after having it grow for 2 years. It was getting beautiful and now gone again.
Still too sick with the chemo plus immune therapy (Jemperli) to think about my looks. Hope I can somehow get to the same place you are! Thank you for telling us how you're doing and giving me hope to feel as well a you are. Prayers for you!
Amanda you are a warrior and if it had not been for your videos I would not have survived. I viewed how you ate and made your food. I only had 3 treatment of chemo and 3 of radiotherapy. I was wasted but jumped back. God bless you for your uplighting videos.
I am happy to see a video from you Amanda. I feel for you at this time as it must be so difficult going through this treatment. Thank you for sharing this reality. ❤😊
Thank you for being here ❤️
Your hair looks so cute now!
Thank you 🙏
Always so happy when you post. You said a lot of things I needed to hear today. Thank you 💕
Oh thank you so much! Hopefully it helped!
I love the music that you play in your videos. It’s very calming. You also happen to have a very soothing and calming voice. i’ve had lupus since I’m 14. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my rheumatologist told me if I eliminated gluten and sugar I would have a lot less arthritic pain. I don’t have a lot of sugar in my diet, but gluten is something I can’t seem to give up. I have tried everything that’s gluten-free and I don’t like it. But he did say it can help reduce inflammation if you eliminate gluten and sugar, maybe that would help with your joint pain.
Thank you so much 🙂
You looked adorable in that blonde wig!😊❤❤❤
Oh thank you!
Oh my gosh. I finished chemo for uterine cancer 5 weeks ago, and I cannot tell you I wish I had someone to tell me, just rest. It’s ok. You can clean the fridge, vacuum the floor later. Be nice to your poor body! Man it’s under attack from all angles! Lol. Thank you for saying that, well basically. Lol. But I also find the weeks post chemo have been very hard emotionally. It’s all been so much and I guess I’m just now processing it all. It’s a tough journey.
Ps: I’m all about the PB & H!!!😉❤
Ah, I'm so sorry. It really is such a hard journey. Rest is the most important thing you can do.
The medical staff need to do more information on nutrition
You look beautiful! My husband will start Keytruda on 8/6~
Best wishes to him!
Looking cute mama ❤
Thank you!
You’re looking so healthy a fit on your healing journey! So happy for you!! I’ve been struggling with low energy/autoimmune issues and started using Lugol’s iodine 2% daily (I apply topically) now have more energy and sleeping better! Going slow and low with dosing. Dr. Brownstein is a good source for research if you’re interested.
Thank you so much!
