Serious question: what exactly makes this bracelet a "survival bracelet", besides the fact it's made of paracord? I'm just curious why you put that in the title when it doesn't seem to have any advantages over, say, the Solomon for survival practices. With Solomon you can store items in the center among other things.
Glad you ran out of paracord, because you reminded me of a question that I have not been able to find an answer to. When you run out of paracord, what is the best way to finish the bracelet? Do you untie everything and start over with more cord? Do you try to fuse some to the end(s) where you ran out? Do you try to weave some more cord in (trying to hide the mistake)?
I was making the "Shack Jaw" I think it is and i was also thinking about that... I figured if I ran out i would fuse more to the end and hope it gets hid within the knots. I hope I helped you :D
thanks. I have run out a few times and I have tried weaving in more without fusing it, and I have also just started over with more cord. Next time I will try fusing more to the end. I have trouble fusing pieces together cleanly though.

LoSTRaMaiR I can't fuse pieces together cleanly either...but the best way i have seen is the way he fuses paracord together
