I hope she does the whole show, I understand it can be draining and has plenty of ups and Downs. But as a walking dead ride or die, nothing would connect me more with this channel then that, I bet some people can agree.

I loved the first episodes, but now her reactions are getting kind of annoying in all honesty... It's constantly jokey and out of place in regards to what's happening on the screen...

I love Andrew Lincoln’s (Rick) acting at the end the desperation in his voice always gets me choked up a bit
I think i can speak for everyone when i say that you have to react to the whole showwww. Its such a rollercoaster , so many good stories , and growth within the characters .

This series is pretty good, I could talk for hours about the evolution of the characters, but I won't, this show is worth being spared of spoilers.
Jim was a very mysterious character that I wish we got to see more of. I wonder how far he would have gone if he didn't get bitten that night.

Man, it's a blast in the past seeing Amy and Jim.
That scene with Amy was almost the same as in the comics, except she walker who bit her was the bank robber who shot Rick (don't ask how he got there) and Andrea shot her brains out almost immediately. Jim also got bitten on the arm.

Can i just say that i dropped The Walking Dead halfway through the 2nd season bcuz i got super busy with life and then it got so far ahead of me that i left it alone, but this has single handedly revived my interest in the show. I loved this episode. I love Daryl's character. He wants to put an ax through Jim's head then gives him a nod by the tree. Rick desperately wants to find a safe place for everyone. His acting is phenomenal.

Please keep doing these reactions past season 1! It's such a nostalgia trip. I started watching the show when I was young and Season 2 was about to come out and me and my family watched it every night it came on until season 6. I've kept up with the show, but they haven't sadly. Watching someone experience the show for the first time and me getting to sort of re-experience it myself is great. The early seasons were a great part of my early teenage years.
Still my favorite show of all time. Can't wait for your reaction to the finale.

Much of the initial seasons were filmed on location in Georgia - there are LOTS of cicadas and katydids and frogs and omgosh you name it. My nights as a child growing up in the South were a nightly concert of critters to drift off to.
Definitely more TWD. If you like the first season, you'll definitely love the upcoming seasons.

Keep going! You have so much more to look forward too. The stakes just get higher and higher. The emotional impact, the weird fun. It's a big universe, but at least it comes in digestible chunks. And it's quite the roller coaster ride. I just got into it maybe three years ago. I'm all caught up on all three current series and I just love it all.

I would love to see more Walking Dead content. I haven't seen these since they originally aired and it's super fun to watch with you. Watching this episode, I realized that the CDC guy would later be on a show that I'm currently catching up on - The Americans. Actually, "Andrea" appears on that show too as his gf.
I've watched the 10 seasons in the last month and really enjoying your commentary and its cool to see what is set up in this first season that runs through the show in some way, like Glenn saying they bury their dead, don't burn them.

2 things:
First, Andrea is a really good character but gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Granted I did like comic version of her better, but still I enjoy her character a lot.
2. The Walking Dead has one of the best soundtracks ever, the music they pick and scored are 🧚🏼♀️ fab

IMO it was only the fact that Rick and co went to get the guns that they survived the quarry attack. Moments prior to them arriving you see how overwhelmed Shane, and those who stayed at the quarry were, by the attacking herd.
