Eric, Well thanks for the video and the upgrade went as expected, but the BlueDV Plus will not connect to the Bluetooth or when connected to a usb port on the computer. all I get is the 2 Red Leds flashing and no connection ... and the software gets an error and will not save data to the BlueDv. My suspicion is that the BlueDV was DOA . Any Suggestions since Gigaparts has no tech support and I had to request a manager at Gigaparts to get a return/replacement. Rather disappointed with the bluedv plus(unfortunately I had to wait over the 30 day to implement this new product)
Thanks for the video. I have all the same setup but I have the single band (UHF) model DVmega. Do you know if the procedure is the same for the single band unit?
This is great if you have the Bluestack but what about using the raspberry pi to do the upgrade. I have 2 pi s and don't really want to but another board to upgrade the 2 older dv megas. Yes buying the Bluestac (BS) just to upgrade the firmware on the dvmega is cheaper than buying a new DV mega Thanks ND9W

nice vid on how to update firmware with bluestack. Now show us how to do it without the 40 euro bluestack. I like running PI-Star image.
