A most admirable and principled guest. How different our governance would be if we had a Parliament filled with people with this kind of integrity.

Great guest , very wise and experienced. Andrew Feinstein would make a great PM. Alexei for his Defence minister, Talal can head up media and foreign relations 👍

2024 has been a life changing year of rage, grief and campaigning over the horrors in Palestine. There have been few moments of joy but the highlight was definitely going to Camden to canvass for Andrew Feinstein against Starmer. Such a positive people powered campaign. This is a really great interview

Excellent interview, I could listen to Andrew for hours. Such a wealth of knowledge, honesty, humility and life experience. Its good to know the attitude and spirit of the Great Nelson Mandela lives on✊️in Andrew. Well done Alexei and Talal for putting this together.

Much as we all love Alexei, my sister (in London) and I (in Scotland) kept calling for Andrew to stand against Starmer right from the moment the idea of a challenge was put forward. He was in no way a fall back candidate. If only there had been more time to persuade people they didn’t need to vote Labour to get rid of the Tories Andrew could have won

Politics (from Ancient Greek πολιτικά (politiká) 'affairs of the cities') is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations among individuals, such as the distribution of status or resources.
      Oh it did.😂.
Thank you both for the reminder

Exactly Starmer was a human rights lawyer who doesn’t seem to have a smidgin of humanity.
Also Labour politicians sense of entitlement reaks!

Andrew Feinstein cutting Starmer's vote in half on election night gave me hope in a dark time! I hope he stands again at the next election, or someone else who take on Labour from the left.

I love your holistic analysis of history.
I also love your positive analysis of what to do next.
Especially refreshing is the placement of your white male selves far back behind the front line.

It'd be awesome to hear Alexei interview Dr Michael Hudson as the paradigm he presents would reign in the freeloading rentiers,
He has a 4 minute Utube essay titled 4. Rent presented by the Renegade Economist

Hudson is brilliant - a brilliant economist, and a true socialist. (BTW, his dad was a communist trade union leader in Minnesota during the Great Depression.) Always good to listen to.

Michael Hudson is fascinating. "...and forgive them their debts" ties his work up with the bible. Sounds whacky but that book and Graeber's debt book turned the bible from a tool of oppression to a secret revolutionary manifesto for me. I'm not religious in the least, but I felt like these book revealed to me the point of religion. It took me an age to read but the debt book especially was amazing.

Have a look at the Dua Lipa produced and presented documentary series on Camden: it's perfect if you're looking for multiple new reasons to despise the human race. I made it as far as the first appearance of Mark Ronson.

Ahh ok. Entirely understandable I guess. Apologies for swearing at Alexi like we are friends. I was momentarily caught in a parasocial fugue state. It only just occurred to me that you guys might have to filter for some really appalling abuse. About the only thing I'd repeat from the comment is to look up #thetrashies and Samantha Asumadu. It's an event that bears telling people about.

    Fein. stein
Two syllables that are spelled the same way.
In words that come from the German, when two vowels are together, the second vowel is sounded.
    Fine Stine.
    Einstein
    Not steen.

  • @fearlessjoebanzai
    @fearlessjoebanzai 19 дней назад

Feinstein would do well to remember that he's running to be a representative of the British public first and make that his primary focus. The war machine is the number 1 problem in the world for sure, but beyond the fact that it's a monumental crusade that will last for decades if not centuries, the call for the crusade itself will do little to help the price of fish.
You have to get the people behind you first.
