There’s no such thing as a short absence, and even then, I’d hesitate to call this one short anyways. Kinda cruel of you to make us wait to hear all about your adventures, but clearly there are priorities to fulfill until that day. So much nostalgia packed so tightly in a single stream! Seeing the children in the mines never gets old. Have to say, compared to the first one you started panicking a lot earlier this time, the iron fist ruler came up in no time at all! Was that a bit of flashbacks from the Poland experience showing there perhaps? It’s a bit of a minor detail, but those whispers during the game really add to the tension and the feeling of urgency, I can see how they would make such an impact for you to take them directly to the devs. It feels like a familiar new experience, a lot of things taste the same, but at the same time there’s so much to explore and discover. Very curious for how the rest of the saga is going to look like. Once again, I guess the fact that we miss you is kind of its own good thing. I generally was able to follow your in-game actions, so I would say there had been a clear improvement from the past. However, there were some moments where you did not really explain your thought process, like 47:05 (why were too many employed people a problem?) and 02:05:36 (why did you think those ideas were lukewarm and why did you choose that option?). Be careful of getting lost in your thought. If you are able to consistently 1) specify the things you talk about (e.g., saying "Frostlanders" instead of "this group" or "they") and 2) verbalise your reasoning (even just one sentence), I believe you will improve even further as a streamer. I am looking forward to your next Frostpunk 2 streams. Honestly, it would be cool to see you play more strategy games.
