It looks good and the price is right, plus it'll be cheap to insure and won't be heavy on fuel. What's not to like? To those wanting more power, get a track day bike as well!

I think the Street 400 will suit many riders from beginners to more experienced returning riders, or those wanting an easy-to-ride option for those shorter journey's or just for fun. Loved riding the Speed 400 in Germany! Great little bike and much more machine than we expected!

Yes, I agree, the Speed is a great bike 😎
Fits you like a glove and it doesn't look like a small bike as you said.
I would like to see the speedo bezel in chrome though, rather than silver paint to complete the retro look.

Long term test should be of interest too, how fairs after a few thousand miles of ownership.I'm with you, needs a slip on..Sounds way gruntier than a 400! 👌
Perhaps gearing/ sprocket change? 1st seems just about useful to pull away and that's it..
I think with a few tweaks this could easily be a nearer to 50 bhp and with 170kg.That would be a pretty good middle weight ,which I am sure given the overall package might upset a few larger capacity bikers👍

You really sound genuinely impressed with that. I've had bigger bikes in the past and am currently interested in that. Single pot and guessing insurance cheaper too. Shall have a closer look.

@@BikerKazZ I'm always pleased to see women making videos of motorcycle tests. They really are excellent. It gives us another aspect of vision and feeling that we men don't necessarily have. There's no question of gender and male-female competitions. It's all about the different views and perspectives of men and women in the wonderful sport and field of motorcycling. Keep up the good work and stay safe on the roads! I live in Quebec and hope my French translation is good...

The idea that "with triumph you know you're getting a quality bike" in this case it has to be built down to a price, I'm not saying it's bad just as a new machine it's 'quality' will remain to be seen, but it certainly looks good, and I'm sure they will shift a ton of em 😊
Yes I understand what you’re saying and yes they are built to a price but it didn’t feel like it was, but as you say it will be interesting to see long term how they fair 😎
They are on the streets of India for some time now and I’m sure any issues with these first production runs are ironed out already.
@@Cibotx Mmm good to hear, however it's a known thing that in some cases the domestic and export versions are not built to the same level, not saying that is the case here, just a possibility 👍🏻

Thank you, I really appreciate you saying that 😁 I use an Insta360 X3 camera, it's a great bit of kit, easy to use and edit too which is perfect for me !

Has me wondering if I really need that Guzzi 850 or Triumph 900?
It probably depends on what sort of riding you do, you’d probably want the bigger engine for touring say but the 400 is so much fun

They come with Metzler's or Pirellis
