I really like the look; three weeks ago we happened to drive past a dealer in town; I had to turn around and sit on it - but I liked the Scrambler 400x better. Then I took a quick ride in my "normal" clothes and ordered it straight away with a handshake. 🤩Now I can pick up my 400X the day after tomorrow - Yeah!🤩
That’s great to hear Andy, the Scrambler is a great bike too, I found it a little on the tall side for me. Hope you love your new bike when you pick it up 😎 #RideSafe
Great review! I bought a black one 2 weeks ago, downsized from cbr600 due to my age, brilliant bike, only 170kg, more manoverable, easily flat foot it at 5'8", bought an Evotech Performance Radiator Guard which in my view is far superior to the triumph one. Also might get some fender extenders. Loving the bike, other mod is to get the seat comfort sorted at some point, I actually looked at the triumph comfort seat which looks lovely and quilted but feels the same as the standard one.
@@slyfox186 thank you ☺️ So great to hear you’re enjoying your Speed 400, they’re a cracking bike and I loved how light it is to! Like the sound of the mods you are doing, sounds perfect 👌
that's really interesting to hear, I can see why the bmw is in the garage though, the Speed 400 is soooo much fun to ride and it's great that's lightweight which makes a difference!
I part exchanged my T100 for this one about 2 months ago in black because I have some arthritis in my hip now and love how light it is to manoeuvre in & out of garage etc. It goes round corners much faster than the T100 and I think it’s a great bike for country roads with 90 mpg so far. The only thing I could criticise is the gears are very short, needs the 1st gear taken out and a higher gear at the end top end for cruising, it easily poodles along in 6th at 35 mph but only my opinion.
That’s really interesting to hear about the gears, I would agree with you there, you’re very quickly up to sixth! Great to hear how light you find the bike to move around, I think it’s a great lightweight fun bike to ride. I would definitely have one if I could. Hope you have very many miles and smiles 🤩 #RideSafe
Picked up bike in the same colour this morning. Had much faster bikes in past but now at 67 and two arthritic knees need something lighter. Generally only dry day ride outs nowadays so it suits my needs perfectly. Ride safe
That's brilliant to hear you have got yourself one of these bikes, I hope you love it as much as I did! They are a cracking bike that are light and nimble 😜 I hope you have many miles and smiles on the bike 😎 #RideSafe
@@NoFrictionZone that's really great to hear, sounds like you're loving the bike which is brilliant. Modern bikes don't seem to have any storage unfortunately !!
Picked mine up today. I love it. Did 70 miles on it already. I also have the same trousers as you in black moto girl cargos 😅 I’d buy one if I was you 😉
@@BikerKazZ yes, those trousers are the best I have bought as you say super comfortable on and off the bike. As for the Triumph is a cracking bike, I am spoilt as it’s my third bike, my other two are a Kawasaki z400 and a Honda Monkey 125.

Agree! This is mine second bike. Mine BMW K1200LT Are these days in the garage and I’m just riding the small but extremely fun Triumph 😁😁

Absolutely 💯 I was sad to see this one go back 😭
Looks a great little bike 👍
I think so too Giles, so much fun to ride 😜
I like it. Will pop by my Triumph dealer. Hope they sell them in the US.
Keep me posted George, I'd be interested to hear what you think of the Speed 400 too 😎 fingers crossed your local dealer has one
Yes, I picked mine up a month ago. Definitely give it a try.
@@NoFrictionZone how are you finding the bike?
@@BikerKazZ loving it Kaz, my first MC coming from the scooter world. Light, responsive and fun. Maybe first gear is a bit short and zero storage lol.
@@NoFrictionZone that's really great to hear, sounds like you're loving the bike which is brilliant. Modern bikes don't seem to have any storage unfortunately !!
Not had a chance to ride one yet!
But they do look good
I can definitely recommend a test ride, cracking bike 🏍️ let me know if you do, I’d be interested to hear what you think 🤔
It's between speed 400 and Kawasaki eliminator for my upgrade my royal Enfield meteor 350 not powerful enough for Australian highway/freeway
Both great bikes, let me know what you decide, I’d be interested to hear 😎
