Just by watching this video (without watching part 2) I've managed to absolutely destroy one "Impossible" computer with ease. Thanks for detailed explanation of every step.
this guy is right on one thing; the stich cossack is extremely irritating which u are forced to use the similar strategy as AI which is to put a few troops beside ur mine and peasant to prevent raid.
I know how you feel, when I started playing for the first time it felt like I was smashing my head into a brick wall every time and losing. Eventually after 200 games, and watching 100 replays I began to understand the fundamental game mechanics. This game has a big skill learning curve but you can still play 4v4 multiplayer millions, pretty fun game mode where you get to make units instantly and huge battles take place. Plus there is peace time settings so you aren't killed straight away, you have a chance to raise your army. Just make sure you don't start unit production too late. ctrl+click for infinite unit production, don't forget to build houses and upgrade. Great to see new players, always.
Nice tutorial ! But why build a store house to then destroy it instead of just building it near resources? I also don't quite understand the need to rush build a market. I'm far from being a pro but I find that I can easily manage resources in the beginning without having to build the market right away. I just build the mill right away, then 2 town halls, the blacksmith, then a barrack while peasants are being pumped out from the town halls and going into harvesting wood and stone right away, then food, then gold and proceed with other builds.
Hey. Thanks. Storehouse gets more expensive the more of them you build as with other building but the first one is really cheap. Rushing the market first gave you a better resource exchange rate compared to other players as the exchange rates are shared globally and executing a trade effects the rate so you could end up with 1000 more wood than your opponent from the beginning and can easily snowball from there. The market mechanic got slightly reworked in balancing the game so this market rush is not as effective as it used to be. I would still build it though but it wouldn’t be rushed as some build orders require you to exchange resources for extra wood/stone so would build the storehouse in a more appropriate place.
Really nice vid. You give us amazing tips not only for beginners but also for advanced players who want to step up their games. BTW, how do you control camera to make it rotate or top view? Thanks for the video
It's called freecamera, it's one of the Cossacks 3 cheat codes for single player. Enable cheats by typing 'www' then hit enter, then 'freecam' or 'freecamera' enter I think. scrl, ctrl + scrl to change zoom.
Yeah I think they have the most powerful shot, good vs mele but terrible against other ranged shooters as they have a really short range and have a slow unit deployment rate

Is it worth buying ? fun to play ? Is the multiplayer working or still fully bugged ? I have read that this is basically Cossakcs 1 with better graphics. Absolutely no new feature at all. Is it true ?
Yes it's worth it. You've just missed the winter sale though(( it has a good online community, ELO ranking system, they do tournaments for cash. It's a slight improvement on Cossacks 1, more units, A.I. Helper, new nations, balance improvement with units and in academy research. They also overhauled the building costs so they are cheaper, means more units faster. Still as fun as the first Cossacks. I have 700 hours on it, still playing it.
This was not a build order guide, I was just demonstrating both the units. There are too many variations of builds and peace times to cover in the beginners video. Maybe I should of mentioned that you should go for one type of unit since you can maximise your upgrades without it costing double. But then again you need to have the knowledge of the mele vs range fight mechanics to be able to play well. I can't recommend one or the other, there are situations where pikes beat pikes, pikes beat muskets, muskets beat pikes and muskets beat muskets. Anyways thanks for the comment man!
ctrl+click on the unite icon is infinite production. shift+click is +5 production. And ctrl+alt+click is +100 unit production. Careful in early low resource games queuing lots of units as you can run out of food and people will starve
I dont see it anywhere, but is stone/wood source unlimited? Can I put 500 peasants into one stone field and is this as effective as 5 fields x 100 peasants?
Every resource is unlimited pretty much. The only limit is on how many people you can have per mine/stone patch. I think its 2 peasants that can chop wood from the same tree, so you can put 4-6 peasants per tree as they walk back to the storehouse the others back to the tree or already waiting at the tree. With stone there are different sized patches so you can have between 40-200 depending on its size. Any more than that and they will just be waiting and will display in your free peasant numbers. You can just grab the free ones and send them to a new stone patch or wood. So to answer specifically, it is better to split up 500 peasants to 5 fields. Or 100 on stone and 100 x 4 fields. Either way market for any shortages, but its more efficient to get the resources you need. The only thing to market is for gold to do upgrades.

Hey, what are the differences between Cossacks 1, and this game? I know the first game is really good. And Cossacks 3 looks like a great game also.
There is a new nation, Scotland. Better graphics obviously. There is different balance but overall they are very similar in game engine.
@@HYPPSWins but worse sounding

Well this game looks fine, I'll try it out.
Is France's King's Musketeer the strongest unit in the game? (not the best or most useful, Im talking about true raw power and damage)

you show the beginning of the game and create 2 types of units i think its bad advice but ok
