- How to add a 360 Degree Ford Camera Observation System On Your Ford F-150 / F-250 with a Rostra 250-8455 and up to 4 additional cameras! and you can even add an HDMI wired mirror link, speed sensing video turn on, 5th wheel cargo cam option, steering wheel controls and turn signal triggering, not to mention on/off camera viewing with programmable parking grids like I did using the 250-8172-prog tool however you want it.

Completely plug and play with the factory entertainment system. Module installation takes less than 30 minutes.
Allows connection of four cameras to the factory screen in addition to the OEM backup camera.
Allows monitoring of any connected camera at any time while driving (not including OEM backup camera).
Right and Left Blind spot camera inputs automatically triggered by the turn signals.
Easy to use menus in the factory UI with operational choices such as English, French, or Spanish language
Instead of slicing the rubber boot you can cut the zip tie and run csble through factory hole then put a new zip tie . Just an idea. Thats what I did.
I'm trying to find this by the ebay link doesn't work. I'm looking to put it in a 2017 F-350, which should be the same setup.
So Cool! I wish I had the Talent to do this on my 2018! I had bought a New 2019 Ranger Lariat that had All the bells and whistles, including the 360 degree cameras, but after a year, Hated the truck and got a 2018 F-150 Lariat, but it does Not have all the cameras!
Is the Rostra 250-8455 discontinued? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I know this is off the tangent but do you have a solution for installing side marker mirrors on a 2018 f150 stx. The word is that its impossible. Is there anyway a analog harness can be made for it?

Hello, I recently installed mine and the video quality from the RCA inputs is horrible. The HDMI video quality is great. I powered my camera via fuse tap though and didn't use the power wires from the harness. Are you powering your cameras from the wire harness itself?
The instructions in the manual are fairly thin. Could you help me understand how the power and ground 'outputs' are supposed to be connected? Is it required to use both the power and ground outputs for all of the cameras? the front cameras has a separate power I suspect so that it turns on and off at (10mph), or is that controlled through the video connection?

With the HDMI display port I know it says it allows you to mirror your phone to the screen. Does this port also allow audio through it? Essentially if you were driving and you mirrored your phone on here could you theoretically play a movie or watch the news, etc.? If this questions already been asked and I missed the answer my apologies But very clean set up and overall I like the video very informative and thank you for all the part numbers. One last question with all these different interfaces that you’ve utilized is there by chance a harness that allows you to pull a low pass frequency, channel for a subwoofer? I’ve seen some people go through and buy a T harness and modify it. I just wasn’t sure if there was one out there nowadays that automatically does it. Thank you again.

Hi do u have a video on installation of the trigger wires for side camera? For blindside camera to be projected on screen when the turn signals are on?
I'm assuming it's getting the data from the CAN bus, the same way it's getting the speed.
Do they make something like this for the Chevy Mylink?

yup

This interface only adds cameras. The module contains the video inputs for L/R Front and back and therefore it's not adding top down 360 which are stitched together images.

No cameras whatsoever, I'm not sure which ones he is using. It might be a good idea if he mentions it before breaking out $423. Maybe some leads to cameras too
