    I would like to add to this.
    The Church really didn't have as much power as you imply. The Western Church was full of traitors, Prince-Regent Rufus didn't listen to anyone who wasn't his bed warmer, the Eastern Church was utterly ineffectual, the Southern Church hadn't been around for over a century (having been replaced by the Minister of Religious Affairs after a failed rebellion) and the Central Church's territory was not very extensive. While it was culturally very powerful, the Church of Seiros was at its lowest point in history when it came to political power.
    The issue of Crests is something that Seteth talks about in his supports so it's likely that we would see some sort of reform happen there once Fodlan is united.

      Good points! That's basically why Edelgard was able to stage a powerful rebellion in the first place. And when it comes to Seteth your exactly right, unfortunately the route's ending doesn't really talk about that specifically. It could fit in within the concept of reforms for sure though.

    (This is from a video, so credits to Armads4Prez).
    How to fix Silver Snow:
    Rhea is never captured. After thinking Byleth is dead, she goes into hinding. When Edelgard returns to Garreg Mach, she follow her in order to get revenge. Then Byleth appears and Edelgard runs away.
    Chatper 13: Rhea is furious that thiefs have taken Garreg Mach so she gives them divine punishment alongside Byleth.
    Chapter 14 and 15 are okay. But Claude´s letter in chapter 15 says he wants to meet Byleth and Rhea at Garreg Mach.
    Claude and Dimitri, alongside Rodrigue and Gilbert arrive at the monastery. Claude explains his plan to cross the Great Bridge and how he wants the Kingdom and the Church to march with them to Enbarr. Rodrigue and Gilbert advice Dimitri to ignore the plan and retake Faerghaus from Cornelia, but Dimitri decides to help Claude because... he wants to kill Edelgard. Rhea however refuses because she thinks that the plan it´s way to dangerous. Dimitri and Claude leave to go fight the second Battle of the Eagle and Lion.
    Chapter 16: After realizing the Knights of Seiros will not leave the monastery, the Argathans send assasains to take care of Rhea. The objective of the battle is to find Rhea and defeat the assasains. At the end of the battle, Cornelia appears and seals away Rhea with the spell of Zahras. Rhea meets with her mother in the void. Sothis tells Rhea that the Nabateans were created to protect Fodland in her absence. The goddess returns Rhea to the world, and gives her the motivation to save Fodlan.
    Chapter 17: Rhea tells Byleth that she hid something important in the Red Canyon of Zanado while she was hidding. The next battle takes places in an abandoned Nabatean temple. In it, Cornelia removes her human disguise and attacks. After Cornelia is killed, Rhea announces that she´s Saint Seiros.
    Chapter 18 is the Impregnable Fortress. While Dimitri and Claude lost at Gronder, the Alliance still holds onto the bridge.
    Chapter 19 and 20 are Enbarr and the Empire Throne Room, whille the last two chapters are Shambhala and a battle against Nemesis.
    While Armds puts Nemesis as the Final Boss, I think Silver Snow original final boss is great. Maybe we can change the story so that in chapter 21 Nemesis is already revived and appears as an enemy in Shambhala, and the final chapter remains as the original one.

    "It's worth noting that Silver Snow is the only route where Rhea really undergoes this profound character progression, and addresses her latent issues with her mother and way of rule"
    I'm actually going to point out that that both Verdant Wind and Silver Snow address this, while Azure Moon only doesn't get this much since she doesn't make another appearance in that route.
    In chapter 12, when the monastery is about to be attacked, she states she's been waiting a *long* time for Sothis to come back and fix all of Fodlan's problems, and take her shitty job so she doesn't have to do it anymore.
    Rhea: I have acted all these long years as a mere proxy for you, but the duty is yours and yours alone. Only you can lead the people of Fodlan.
    ...Rhea: I am waiting and hoping for the moment when our creator rules this wayward land once more
    In both the chapter you fight the Shambhalans and Nemesis/Rhea depending on SS or VW, she confirms that she knows Sothis only left her power to Byleth, and reiterates that Byleth is the one who should lead Fodlan.
    In both the SS and VW dialogue before their respective final bosses, she acknolwedges that the actions she took were questionable and wrong.
    Pre-Nemesis dialogue:
    Rhea: I wanted to use that heart to...to resurrect her.
    Even though I had to do some...questionable things to achieve my goal, I wished to see Sothis...my mother...once more.
    Rhea: Yes, I believed that if I could resurrect my mother, I could regain all that had been lost...
    Rhea: I suspected that your body housed the consciousness of Sothis. Those suspicions were correct. And yet, she merely gave you her power and vanished... My dearest wish did not come true...but you did inherit the power of the Progenitor God.
    SS Pre-Rhea fight:
    Rhea: I...created you. And within you is the crest stone of the Progenitor God...I hid the Crest Stone within your heart to in order to revive her.
    Sweet child...I am sorry. I wanted to see her...see my mother...even if it meant doing that which is forbidden.
    ...Rhea: I knew, deep in my heart, that you would be capable of housing the conscience of the Progenitor God. I was right...And yet, she merely gifted her power to you and then disappeared once more. My dearest wish did not come true...but here you are.
    It's also interesting to note that in the Silver Snow version of the Pre-Shambhala dialogue she promises to apologize for what she's done when she tells the truth about Byleth, and does apologize as well before the final battle, but the bit of dialogue about her promise to apologize is cut for some reason in the Verdant Wind version of the dialogue. Though her fear for Byleth's safety when she knows the Agarthans are going to try their hardest to kill Byleth wasn't.
    Rhea: ...the one they will want to kill most...is you, dear child. Your body houses the same power they once bestowed upon Nemesis
    Rhea!VW: That is why...I fear for you.
    Rhea!SS: That is why I must protect you, no matter what. Even if I must die to do so...

      Interesting points! I actually think that your compilation of quotes here raises some important points about Rhea's developmental differences between verdant wind and silver snow.
      In verdant wind as you noted she says "My dearest wish did not come true...but you did inherit the power of the Progenitor God." placing emphasis on her failure to resurrect sothis and it seems to continue to disappoint her. But in Silver Snow as you pointed out she says "And yet, she merely gifted her power to you and then disappeared once more. My dearest wish did not come true...but here you are." placing greater emphasis on byleth existing indicating that she's more appreciative of the fact that she brought byleth into the world in Silver Snow, moving away from her continual neurotic fixation on the resurrection of her mother.
      I think this is even more clear in the shambala dialogue "That is why...I fear for you." vs "That is why I must protect you, no matter what. Even if I must die to do so...". One is simply sympathetic fearing for byleth's safety, while the other has rhea laser focused on defending byleth herself.
      It seems like even these slight changes in dialogue still characterize her differences in development between the two routes, with Rhea still fixating on sothis failing to appreciate byleth for who they are in VW and her moving on appreciating what she has in byleth now in SS.
      Awesome comment I wish I put this in the video now lol.

      @@ordinaryunits4341 I will say I don't feel like the story itself made an attempt to explain *why* those dialogue differences are there.
      So I don't know if I'd really agree on that.
      In both routes you're essentially taking the same actions, except with or without Claude/Seteth at the helm.
      I believe the reason they cut some of the dialogue is because they wanted to focus more of it on Claude/Nemesis' reappearance, and less on just Rhea/Byleth.
      For example, Silver Snow has more time to focus on Byleth/Rhea *in the final cutscene* since it's really just a conversation between them about Byleth's personal history.
      Whereas Verdant Wind still has to have Rhea fully explain the history of the Crests/her family's death, Nemesis, and finally Nemesis' attack on Fodlan. Which is why I believe they cut some of the dialogue that's in Silver Snow, because VW's would be far too bloated otherwise.

    I think the suggestion order is :
    - Creation game : SS --> AM --> VW --> CF
    - Classic : AM --> CF --> SS --> VW
    - Cycle : CF --> AM --> VW --> SS
    - Season : CF --> VW --> AM --> SS
    - Asian word (風花雪月): VW --> CF --> SS --> AM
    I do a cycle order. In my Silver Snow (4th and last run) I paired 14 character ending :
    - Byleth x Lysithea
    - Ferdinand x Dorothea
    - Linhardt x Bernadetta
    - Caspar x Petra
    - Felix x Annette
    - Ashe x Mercedes

    11:30 I feel that VW is the one that should have been different, some things make more sense in silver snow, like byleth killing edelgard and her calling him "my teacher" in that cutscene any many other things too. I still think that VW is better only because rhea being the final boss in silver snow is so stupid and lazy writing. Also crimson flower is the worst route imo.

      One thing that is a huge downside in Silver Snow is that they aren't so explicit with the reforms as I like they would be. Because it is said in the Underground Library that Rhea was withholding the technological advancement of Fhodlan, so if they start to spred this inventions they could easily make crests irrelevants and in Silver Snow you always have acesses to the 2 more scientific mind characters of the game in Hanaman and Linhart but the game sadly doesn't focus in them so much. One of the things that could make SS distinct from the others routes would be for the ending to be define by the cast of characters that you recruit, I know that this expectation is unrealistic but it would be so cool.

    Okay, what I'm gonna say here is radical, but here me out; could it be that all 4 routes happened at the same time. Maybe not their endings but the events?
    There have been a formula with I.S. story telling as of late. I'll call this the "Modern Method" since this first pops up in Awakening. In the last three games, in order to get the full scope of the events you had to add the other routes [Awakening DLC shows how dire the future where along with other insights about the cast personalities, that would later be used in the following game; Fates 3 routes paints a bigger picture of the state of their world and the 2 follow up routes finish off the first two routes; Echoes to understand the very theme of the game you have to finish both Celica's and Alm's route and the after game can be seen as an alternative route of FE3].
    Perhaps the events themselves happened and maybe some of the endings to a degree. Perhaps all three bad endings is the true story. 3H may strongly take place before Binding Blade. It is no secret that I.S. uses real world history as inspiration for their games. FE 1 is based off the reconquering of Spain, Tharicia was a real area near the Middle East and the game is based off the 2nd and 3rd Crusade, Gaiden is based on the American Civil War, etc. With this precedent in mind, the continent of Elibe may not be named Elibe, since Elibe just means "dark". The continent of Elibe may be the naming of the age or time. Using past methods of I.S. writing and this "Modern Method", one can say that this game is inspired by what later lead to our real world "dark ages" (which was about 40-80 yrs of Church reform after it collapsed).
    So, if the "Modern Method" is used and match that with I.S. traditional method of themes then looking around the events of the dark ages or even maybe after it, we maybe able to grasp some clarity over Fodland's fate. Or at least have a more structured argument beside "Eldie isn't bad; she waifu" or "Rhea big titty mommy say time out-- she bad".
    Or maybe even trying to figure out what the writers of the game is trying to convey, which I personally think is actually kinda opposite of old Fire Emblem.
