Fantastic handgun! I have been carrying the 1st Gen for a little over a year now. Comfortable to carry Accurate little gun Easy to conceal (for me) No feed issues ( even with steel case/ reloads) CZ P10C mags are compatible My Gen 5 Glock 19 is now in the safe.
I own an Arex Delta L Gen 2 (17 +1 and 19+1 mags). It is totally reliable, very accurate, with great ergonomics. The trigger weight pull was good, but it had some creep on it. So, I had the trigger action group polished by a competent gunsmith, and the trigger pull became smooth. Therefore, improving accuracy, making it now very accurate. I ordered the extended magazine release because the one that comes in the pistol is difficult to operate. The extended mag release solves the problem. Great pistol at a reasonable fair price.
Between Canik, Arex, shawdoow systems, it’s over. sig, Glock, S&W better get it together. I haven’t spent over 400 for my last 4 handguns. And they are top notch.
Just curious. Do you make a”claw” clip for IWB on your holsters? I went to your website and saw one I liked, but I didn’t see anything like a claw attachment
Does anyone know if you run a holosun 507k. What size iron sights do you need suppressor or standard? I know if it mounts straight to the slide it will co witness with standard. But what about adding the hight of a plate?
True double action? No, it's partially cocked like the vast majority of modern polymer striker fired pistols. For true double action striker fired, you need to go to the Tara TM-9 or Tara TM-9X, which are true double action with second strike capability. Proof? You had to rack the slide to demonstrate the trigger pull, that's not double action. Great pistol though. I think I'll have to grab one.
You are absolutely correct. I guess I meant true double action in the sense that the trigger pull is responsible for fully priming the striker, and releasing it. There is no option for a second trigger pull on a light primer strike. Thank you for the correction.
Yeah, even the Arex's website says, "The AREX Delta is a true double action striker-fired pistol" even though it isn't. Come on... A Firearms company which makes handguns doesn't know what double action is!? LOL. No double strike capability = no "true" double action.
@@anonypersona3189 They do? Well, that's kind of a faux pas. I think they are simply taking liberties with the term, surely they know. It's just marketing. The Tara TM-9 and 9X pistol is actually DA/SA striker fired. I think they may have a patent on the mechanism actually. I am unaware of another pistol with that trigger mechanism. Well, there is the Schmeisser slp-9, but that's just a Tara TM-9n contracted and labeled for Schmeisser. This Arex seems great, and gets a lot of positive reviews. I'm going to pick one up.
@@adammm1013 Sort of, and not true for the entire series anyway, and still different from the Tara. I checked, the Tara trigger is indeed patented. In any case, the Arex Delta trigger is not DA/SA.
Just want to warn people out there my AREX delta mod 2 was a turd, maybe a one off but Honest Outlaw had the same same failures to go into battery, mine also had ftf and ejection issues.
@@code4defense745 I shot a variety of factory fmjs, 115, 124, and some 124 & 147 hsts. Same problems with all of it. Shouldn't matter what factory ammo is shot if it has problems with any factory ammo I won't trust my life on it.
I am with you. I had 3 of them total and had FTF. Especially hated my reloads which have functioned in multiple S&W Shields and Glocks.Really sucks because I love everything else about the platform.

I did not know that about the cz magazines. That’s actually pretty cool
Nice review. Looks interesting!
It’s a very underrated handgun

It’s one that I have continued to be very impressed with.

We are living in a pretty cool age of firearms.
What Shadow Systems is under $400?
Pretty fancy shooting.
What every Glock dreams of being.

Bingo
Awesome video! Any news on a light mounted holster? I see you guys have one without, just wondering when perhaps you'll make one with a light
We just finished up the final design. Should be releasing it early next week. We will probably do a video on that holster as well.
You guys rock. It should be a hit, because I can't find any other company that makes a light bearing option yet.
Excellent review Sir .. what kind of holster do you're using with the Arex Delta II !?
It’s our multi mount holster. Check out code4defense.com
I've been contemplating this or P320/m18.
I have yet to get my hands on the 320C, but I must say, the delta gen 2 is a great Value for the money.
This is a good gun
Just curious.

We are actually working on a brand new series of IWB holsters. It will have a “claw” like feature as part of it.

You would need suppressor height iron sights.

If you use a light attached then yes. Otherwise it has not fit my Glock 19 holsters.
Fun fact Arex factory is located less than 100 miles from a Glock factory
I did not know that!!
There is already an Arex factory in Brazil as well. Start of operation in 2022. Now we don't just have Taurus and Imbel.
