Great video as usual! That early rotation made me nervous! Glad you were able to correct him quickly! Aerostar doesn’t fly good below vmc and out of ground effect lol , thanks for keeping the ambient sounds up too!
Observation: Cool Touch Screens especially ones requiring 2 fingers. What is your opinion in rough air? Is there another means of adjustment on these things? I was just a student pilot but I could barely keep my hands on old fashioned stuff in the chop and managed to hit the power switch on the radio by accident once. My instructor said nothing for a while and then inquired if I had heard from ATC lately? I said well no... oh.... ATC was not amused with me. :)
I really like the system. You can do some of the functions like change frequencies with the knob. There is a remote panel with the traditional knobs to make changes in rough air. You do get used to supporting your hand in turbulance.

This is a 1979 601P/Superstar 700. Done by Aerostar. I believe Juliet Delta Aviation did the EDM 960 install in conjunction with the avionics shop on their field. If he had it to do over, he would have done the Garmin EIS and not tied up the center stack space. The GTN 650 is not that usable where it is.

Right now it has an s-Tec 55. It is getting an S-tec 3100 soon.
Flying in Louisiana and florida at times you will clear thunder storms .
