I know whites detectors are very good machines, The problem with most detectors useing discrimination controls is that canadian coins now days are made out of iron, & can`t tell the good iron from the bad iron.Is there a way to tell the good iron(coins) from the bad iron with the MXT?

If you want depth you will want to run the 12" coil.
Depth will depend on the target and the soil type.
