The earlier 200s have slightly thinner reeds which gives just a bit more of a driven springy aliveness to the voice.. 200A reeds were made ever so slightly thicker to combat breakage, as a result 200a's don't have that spank! 200 reedbars with a 200A amp sounds really good, we've done a few like that - kinda the best of both worlds!
Too bad there is no time machine that would let you go back and show the Wurly folks what the future has in store for their machines. I think they'd approve.
It's an iteration of Tom Petty's Breakdown, Mike Frank (the guy playing) has a great knack to do what we lovingly call "non-legally binding covers" :) ruclips.net/video/dqxns-JTTqA/видео.html
Oh my friggin god…amazing work! Beautiful playing. What a smooth, even sound.
The two individuals who did setup work here aged in dog years bringing these Wurlitzers to this level of refinement! 😜
Sounds great! Looks cool too.
Green is my favorite color. What a knockout.
Beautiful sound. Great playing too. You really know how to get the best out of this. Loved it!
