Can we all just take a moment to also appreciate Wallace Huo's performance as emperor. The fact that most of us grow to really despise him just shows how brilliant his acting is. I heard he even got death threats after this. Chinese fans are bonkers lol
Apparently Wallace Huo is very kind and gentle-hearted in real life, so much so that he needed to cry after finishing some scenes because he hated how Qianlong treated people, especially women. Makes me so very sad that fans behaved like that, it must've been horrible, especially for someone with that kind of personality. And yet he's so brilliant and believable as this horrible man. I find it's curiously common for actors who are total sweethearts irl to be very good at playing villains. It's very interesting.
I've always loved his acting in this and many other dramas. The way he transitions from a young prince who is open and friendly (as much as a young prince can be, I guess) to him slowly becoming a cruel and paranoid Emperor. There were times in this drama where he was so very frightening.
I love the use of mirrors and reflections in the cinematography. A really powerful symbol as a reflection of the true state of the human heart. The king looks down on his queen and ironically his last words to her are, "You kept crying out 'Measure for measure'. But today, this retribution, upon whom has it fallen?" Even when she warns him that he is cold and heartless and that the next Empress wouldn't have a better end than her...when she cries as she says, 13:34 "Your Majesty's royal grace is immeasurable" she can't even look him in the eyes. She understands that she never had his love or respect. He only kept her queen and kept favoring her because she could give him a royal heir. Instead of instantly punishing her for her deeds or specifically for causing Ruyi to be infertile, he made use of her position to give him an heir. He's so concerned with his status that he doesn't punish evil when he sees it, which ultimately leads to the same problems under Ruyi's reign. He never acted on the truth he always worked so hard to find, instead manipulating those around him. Eventually, Ruyi saw through this and realized that her lover from her youth was gone. He doesn't realize that the words he speaks to his Empress can be equally turned on himself, though it isn't until Ruyi is gone that he realizes what he had done. He doesn't even apologize to her. This drama helped me see how, little by little, women can change a man and turn him away from what is good, or expose the ugliest side of his heart. Ruyi initially thought that it was just bad influence on him, but ultimately she saw that he was the problem and he never loved her. She loved him enough to tell him when he was wrong. He only loved her enough to string her along as his own security until he no longer needed her. Because he was so manipulative, he eventually started projecting his insecurity on Ruyi and suspecting she was manipulating him. The manipulator is the most disturbed by and afraid of being manipulated by someone else.
I can't just walk away with out saying this was a beautiful analysis. I agree he mostly only loved himself and the concept of family/ heirs (he was too paranoid in reality to cherish his relationships). historically the emperor took opioids, and I think that made him go crazy and paranoid of everyone including Ruyi. I think the drama showed this initially by the appearance his mustache/ beard, and then his gradual lack of attention to his emperor duties. But he still never could admit his faults, even though most of his women criticized/ hated him as they died. Towards the end, he also mostly focused on getting trashed, sleeping around, and deflecting all mistakes and faults. He is the least self-aware emperor ever

I mean the Empress was evil though. Made the ladies in the harem fight each other while sabotaging them so that they died for her crimes or were unable to have their own kids.

Mshine You know how kids love and bugs you for a toy.. then they get it, and soon lose it or damage / destroy it because they didn’t make it, worked hard to get it or sweat to make it themselves? Emperor’s born getting much whatever he wants and his adopted mom spoiled him and taught him the truth of the Harem as is his Dad.. when he says be heartless as a king or emperor, the position required you do certain things and also no be.. a true husband lover.. but that it’s an industry politics and he’s the head CEO. Princes are taught they own lives.
The late empress and legal wife is obedient- that's how the Empress Dowager and Ruyi described her - a d Ruyi is not. Just like what Empress Dowager said. Ruyi only wants to love and be free. The late Empress only wants to hold on to and protect her crown and clan.
@@bobbysimatupang8368 She has Fucha Clan to worry. Ruyi’s Nara Clan isn’t on the table nor does her parents force her to do bad things as they believed in after life karma more than this hypocritical Empress Langhua whose guilt makes her fear she’s not worthy of virtue but wanted name “Xian” meaning virtuous, envy Ruyi who got name Consort Xian.
He respected her because she was the mother of two of his princes which he planned on making his successor. She was his legal wife and not a consort, and above all she was the most important to him politically.
@@myrtlesnow2397 No...it's because she came from a "Powerful" backing. Unlike, Empress Ruyi. Whom Aunt was the Empress that felt from grace, that his Father put away when he was the Emperor.
Please he didn't respect her either he wouldn't have made her his legal wife if he had a choice he wanted Ruyi first. She was second best that's why she was so bitter!!
This empress was petty, insecure, jealous, and cruel. She put a fake front up, as some sort of kind woman, but she was full of evil intentions. Giving those bracelets to make Ruyi and the noble consort infertile was such a snake-move. She claims to scheme for the sake of maternal family etc, but in the end she really didn’t have to do all that. She had the emperor’s respect and devotion. But her antics drove him away. And made the palace a hot mess. And she raised the princess to be a bad person, just like her
She died jealous of Ruyi. So incredibly sad. She knew was his second choice and he didn't love her. She wanted his love but never got it. Wow, what a scene! And did she really fall out of bed like that??? Did she die after she fell out of bed? Yikes 😬😬
Historical wise i don't think there's a legit reason she died so 'early'. None of her children survived but truly in history he actually claimed to love her. He loved Ruyi too but the stark difference in how they handled the harem was evident. The first queen came into a new harem, a new kingdom and a new emperor whereas Ruyi came to power in an already established Rule with an already mostly established harem hierarchy. There is absolutely zero history left about Ruyi Ulanara sadly. She requested the emperor destroy everything about her because in the end who would want to remember being the wife of a selfish asshole? lol
@@TheNoctWitch I don't know if it is this drama or another where someone calls him on his "love" poetry about the Emperess indicating that it isn't real or truthful. Sorry I can't remember scene.
@@rebeccastotts9288 its this one. It’s later on in the series it’s pointed out he pines for his 1st wife despite all the awful things he found out she did and he does the same to Ruyi after she dies too.
She is surprised that she never had his complete heart? The man has a large harem and any woman who catches his eye. No woman could ever have his complete heart...assuming he had one!
The Empress was a bitter envious woman who let her insecurities and jealousies got the best of her. She was Empress with the backing of a powerful family but knowing that Ruyi was originally his first choice and that he was "forced" to pick her must've gnawed at her constantly day and night. No wonder she wanted to be rid of Ruyi. Ruyi was a constant reminder that she was second best in the Emperor's eyes and I am sure it is also well known in the harem that the Emperor chose her under duress and via politics.
Because she was envious. She hated how the emperor loved ruyi. She always knew she was a second choice, a replacement. So she wanted to make ruyi disappear.
She was surprised that the Emperor knew all her evildoings. Funny that most of them came from the one closezt to her - Noble Consort Huizian. She denied and swore but it came out at the end all her hatred towards Ruyi.
The only evildoing she did was giving the two the infertility bracelets. Everything else that occurred happened because her maid was acting on her behalf in her interests without her consent to it. She only ever schemed to harm Ruyi after she was manipulated into believing that Ruyi had cursed her son to death and was trying to get out of the cold palace to come for her title and position (which she most cared about).
I love the part when she falls off the bed. Did she really think she was worthy to have the emperor by her side when she took her last breath! He already, and he made it clear it was just to save face, was more than kind to her.
So glad didn't live during that time!! I would have been happy being a poor farmer's wife then be in that harem, have to watch your back and children's forget that!!
Out of all the evil consorts/concubines the King has by his side, the one that is more evil is the servant one he promoted to imperial consorts later on... she’s ruthless. At the end, all the evil consorts/concubines died awful death due to their sins
I think the empress is the most wicked one but she used poeple to do her evil deeds without been traced back to her. She enable and encouraged schemes in the harem. She did all this by smiling and bowing. As far as Ling and Jia goes, anyone who paid attention knew their true intentions. The empress was fake. She started killing babies and preventing birth even before she became empress. She deserves every bad thing she got
@@insoromanoworries7923 honestly i hate how everyone was portrayed as pure evil except ruyin and another consort. The first empress was genuinely perfect but she wasnt strong enough to keep up with the competition. Ruyin had nothing to loose thus her ending. While ling had learned from the first empress how to make him love her.(hongli was madly in love with his first wife) she wasnt all that bad as she still pitied other consort.
First Empress was right. Because the emperor has so many womens know one can feel hapiness and love. Second Empress Ruyi had a cruel ending like her how she said.
In my opinion I don't think ruyi got a bad ending although she was sick she did not die in hatred she died peacefully knowing that she had done everything to set everything right she had a chat with her best friend the person that had been serving loyally to her through a lot of things and she died like falling asleep she was even able to write a letter to her son telling him to live well and that she was in a better place the emperor wanted her back but she did not want to go back she was finally free the emperor died alone without anyone by his side full of loneliness probably in regret for how he had not treated ruyi right
@@mshinektunes9362 exactly this. He died regretting everything he had done to ruyi. She was the most loyal and law abiding consort and only act to protect or get revenge on those that wrong her.
No ruyi ended their relationship by cutting her hair on her terms, she was fed up. She chose to not take medicine to prolong her life. She died in peace and on her terms. R.I.P.
Their acting is so superior to our actors here.. we judge have a few of this deliver over the last 100 plus years. These individuals here, are beyond stellar! The Empress, the woman who plays The Noble Consort, and Jia are incredible supporting actresses. I can’t imagine anyone else having these roles.
Emperess said she'll be watching from above implying she is going to heaven girl please;heaven is not a movie theater, pay admission then you are in you are going to hell at least your heart will be warm
Aren't most of them Buddhists? Idk what the Buddhist conception of afterlife is. Reincarnation until you reach perfection? Then what? But I don't think they believe in Heaven above & Hell below.
It was inevitable with or without the curse because all the other concubines hated her except for the few they were already plotting to become the second empress and when ruyi was made instead of them they just continued their evil deeds
Yup!! Ruyi's reign was cursed by the jealous and selfish bitch empress langhua that's why she too died at the end. In that scene the emperor mention that her name..langhua means...splendid woman...hahaha I certianly didn't think she matched her name cos she was so evil and had an evil heart as well.
The Fucha woman sure did make a big mistake about his bottom line....Ruyi is still being his closest family member & his first cousin.....she shouldn't have spoke.
@@bythebayou5351 Her aunt was the former Empress but she was locked up by Hongli's father. She actually wanted Ruyi to marry an even closer cousin, 3rd Prince, who was her son, and ensure she'd be Empress (which is why Hongli's father got mad and banished her and made Hongli's adoptive mother Empress Dowager instead)
She was a bad empress and he wanted Ruyi as first wife not her . He was forced to take her from the Fuca clan by his father and his mother . But she was jealous of Ruyi and wanted to kill her - she also was the master mind of the terrible things that happened to his consorts , concubines and his heirs whether they were princes of princesses. He daughter was evil too and she took revenge and encouraged consort madam Wei another evil one to set up Ruyi . Both of them were calculating Ruyi till the end .
I don’t think she’s a bad person. She is also a victim of the palace schemes. She has a lot of bad people (her maid, family, consort Xia?) muttering in her ears telling her to do what she has to do to keep her empress title. Beside Ruyi, I think she is the next person who genuinely love the emperor.
What? Are you serious? She started and instigated all the schemes. She just used others to carry her bad deeds so it couldnt be traced back to her. She didn't love the emperor. She was just an opportunist driven by jealousy. That consort hai or whatever her name is was loyal to her from day one. Look at what she did to her. Only Jia was smart to play her too. All the other villains post her might have been a victim to the environment but not her. She is worse then even ling. And she did all that evil with a smile. The only people she truly cared about was her kids.
@@insoromanoworries7923 that's exactly what I said to someone under another video's comments and they told me that Ive "not watched the series and the Empress was guilty only of the infertility bracelets and the rest was done by Su Lian without her knowledge." The person also told me they watched the series 10+ times so I didn't keep arguing with them since one doesn't need to watch a series 10+ times to know that the 1st Empress had murderous tendencies. Im curious only as to what happened to Consort Zhenmin who died in childbirth. Never watched that episode
She's a piece of work killed kids and caused women to be barren and talking about she did it for honor. What deep love can he have with10 wives? She was jealous of Ruyi but she even caused other women problems jealous because she wasnt the only one.SMH
He knew his first wife was evil he covered for her but yet he kept punishing his second wife cuz he could do that and with that he couldn't punish his first one so he took everything out on his she just wasn't she hated Reed she hated his second wife from the beginning because she really was the first one he picked
If you want to be frustrated in life as a Man marry many wives......The emperor was a frustrated man its even good He had a woman like The empress who loved him with all her heart
Does anyone catch on that the Emperor actually killed the Empress? Think about it. His servant was the one who came to feed her "medicine." Why not her servants? He took the opportunity to posion her and get the truth and revenge for Ruyi. She had outlived her purposel she could no longer produce and keep alive hiers. She fought him on their daughter's marriage, and she killed a lot of his kids, too. He needed a legitimate heir. At that time, he loved Ruyi and wanted those heirs to come from her. The empress figured it out a second or two before he left.
First empress has a laundry list of sins, murders, and lies. Gets covered up/excused by the emperor until she was already dying, but still gets to keep her reputation. Second empress; gets accused of breathing wrong, and he flies off the handle, especially if she won't put up with his nonsense. You know, maybe he was just obsessed with Ruyi, because he sure doesn't act like he loves her if he never gives the same grace as the first empress.
He made her suffer and didn’t protect her he should have left her alone he was arrogant and thought too much of himself he didn’t deserve her very disappointed in him
So the life of the emperors was about dealing with the drama of all these women! Feel bad for both.... for women this must have been a sad lonely existence and the “only guy” they could count on was too busy dealing with his own emotional mess, an empire and many, many... women
yeah thats why its a reductions system . No man needs so many wifes and concubines. I am not a Muslim and dont think its a great thing but even 4 wifes in Islam who all have equal status makes more sence than this mess of like a hundred of them...... Well at that time most eatern leaders had harem and concubinage system. Terrible for women and yes stressful for men im sure.
It's halloween here and so I have a question. Why are all the medicines in this and the Yanxi Palace dark - whether they are good for you or poison? It's like the medicine is a trick or treat in these dramas!
all eastern medicines are basically herbalistics in nature, it's gonna be that dark color when you boil and reduce 4-5cups of water and a bunch of rooted herbs into 1cup of super bitter medicine. there is a saying in chinese which essentially translated as the more bitter, the better it is for you.
Yanxi Palace is indeed better than this drama. I don't mind if this drama doesn't follow history, but I don't like how this drama depicted the relationship of the Emperor and the first Empress. It does not make sense. It's obvious from the drama that he does not love her and that he understood that she was a bad woman. It is also obvious that the Emperor doesn't care too much for her, so I don't understand why the Emperor was so adamant on having her son become the crown prince and so adamant on having celebrating her funeral in such an elborate matter that he was angry enough to punished his sons for not honoring her death. These things doesn't makes sense to me. I mean the emperor himself was not borned from the first Empress he was the son of a concubine who eventually rose to power later on. I also think that this Emperor is the dumber and a bigger (insert bad word) of the two Emperor. (In case you were not aware, Yanxi Palace and Ruyi Love is based on the same 4 characters in history, The Emperor and his three Empress. That's why there is so much comparsion between the two drama). This Emperor really only loved himself. He did not love any of his wives, not even ruyi who he so desperately wanted to marry. The Love that the Emperor from Yanxi palace felt for the first Empress was so much better and it made so much more sense. Given his grief for her death and all the punishment he dished out to the people who did not properly mourned her death.
He loved himself” you’re right on that.. so he can’t smear the name of Asin Gioro, his name, or his reign, .. so he had to lie, cover-up (ever heard of it? Even today) well this Emperor love only those who can do things for him.. in this case Fucha Clan gives him his power position as military might, and like Fuheng also died helping expanding his Empire.. Ruyi.. a weak clan can do nothing for him.. so why any woman would choose to be with a man whose love depends on what she or her family can “do” for him? Hence her cutting her hair to say “I don’t care anymore. I don’t need you like this mad man; and my family certainly isn’t deserving of your despicable ties and we’ll never be good enough for you. I am good enough. We cut ties today!!!!” Who loves a smoocher, a freeloader, a gold digger right? And this man unfit emperor is such no different than a prostitute. Oh but No.. no one dared say it because he’s “emperor.”
@@kateli1880 Funnily enough, Wei Yingluo in Story of Yanxi Palace compared the emperor to a prostitute and called the forbidden city a brothel when she was still just a maid and she still managed to keep her head. That's why I prefer Story of Yanxi Palace. Emperor is much more likeable there.
@ Shane. The emperor said it. Its all for show. He only cares about his reputation and what people will think of him. This woman comes from a good family and he wants to please them. Its all pretense. Thats why the empress called him Cold
I think the mistake that a lot of people make when they compare the two shows is that they judge ruyis royal love in the palace as a romance. Sure, the show is about love, but it isn’t a romance like yanxi palace in my opinion. The emperor in this show is meant to be a villain type character, while yanxi palace’s emperor is meant to be a love interest with some major character flaws (but still redeemable!)
Again, she came from a powerful family. Also being his legit spouse (technically speaking),. her children will take precedence over the children of the other consorts and concubines. It is to his advantage to have one of her sons be the crown prince, as it will continue to consolidate his alliance with the Fuca clan. Jia on the other hand, was a bit deluded and fighting an uphill battle...considering she was Korean, that means her sons are also half Koreans, and I doubt the Manchus would place a "half breed" onto the throne.
First Empress be petty af, but I still genuinely like her.. I really do.. She knows she was a second option and only inherited the title of first wife because previous emperor said so. Like not only do you feel disrespected as a person, it would of been seen as disrespectful to her clan. I admire empress, may she rest in eternal love and happiness ♥️

Lisa Castle well History said he eventually poisoned her @ age 47 Wei Yanwan/ Yingluo since he “got her.”
Although Empress Langhua is calculated and devious, she is very obedient to the Emperor..... Not like Empress Naran who has her own thoughts
Ruyi’s Nara Clan isn’t on the table nor does her parents force her to do bad things as they believed in after life karma more than this hypocritical Empress Langhua whose guilt makes her fear she’s not worthy of virtue but wanted name “Xian” meaning virtuous, envy Ruyi who got name Consort Xian.
this empress might be the only woman he respected even a little bit and that was only because she came from a powerful family and he needed them!
He respected her because she was the mother of two of his princes which he planned on making his successor. She was his legal wife and not a consort, and above all she was the most important to him politically.
He needed her family backing
@@myrtlesnow2397
No...it's because she came from a "Powerful" backing.
He really mainly feigned respect after her death, I feel any respect shown beforehand was mostly for image and profit
She requested the emperor destroy everything about her because in the end who would want to remember being the wife of a selfish asshole? lol
In the real life story of this emperor he was obsessed with consort ling which stinks 😂
@@TheNoctWitch I don't know if it is this drama or another where someone calls him on his "love" poetry about the Emperess indicating that it isn't real or truthful. Sorry I can't remember scene.
@@UeJPTv In The Story of Yanxi Palace, Consort Ling is a good person and the Emperor isn't quite that scary.
And she blamed Ruyi. Not even Ruyi had his complete devotion.
This was to funny when she fell out of the bed to funny😂😂😂😂😂
She's about to die but did not confess her sin,and hate someone who never done wrong to her,
Because she was envious. She hated how the emperor loved ruyi. She always knew she was a second choice, a replacement. So she wanted to make ruyi disappear.
And Lord! Forbid him to not make her Empress.. what a selfish bitch!!!
Malak Zaiter she wasn’t a second choice she got the empress seat by default
I love the part when she falls off the bed. Did she really think she was worthy to have the emperor by her side when she took her last breath! He already, and he made it clear it was just to save face, was more than kind to her.
She’s assuming she’s going to the heavens! Funny. I’m so glad she found out he knew before she died bc she played dirty too many times.
That empress was so darn petty smh
So glad didn't live during that time!! I would have been happy being a poor farmer's wife then be in that harem, have to watch your back and children's forget that!!
She was bitter to the end.
Those forbidden city women are like little poisonous butterflies that doesn’t live long.
@@ihavementalissues7489 She wasn't perfect. She encouraged chaos and death in the harem. Preventing pregnancy of the other concubines.
First Empress was right. Because the emperor has so many womens know one can feel hapiness and love. Second Empress Ruyi had a cruel ending like her how she said.
In my opinion I don't think ruyi got a bad ending although she was sick she did not die in hatred she died peacefully knowing that she had done everything to set everything right she had a chat with her best friend the person that had been serving loyally to her through a lot of things and she died like falling asleep she was even able to write a letter to her son telling him to live well and that she was in a better place the emperor wanted her back but she did not want to go back she was finally free the emperor died alone without anyone by his side full of loneliness probably in regret for how he had not treated ruyi right
It was not a curse she knew the character of this emperor that's why she said he was too cold and only hurt those who are close to him
@@mshinektunes9362 exactly this. He died regretting everything he had done to ruyi. She was the most loyal and law abiding consort and only act to protect or get revenge on those that wrong her.

Their acting is so superior to our actors here.. we judge have a few of this deliver over the last 100 plus years. These individuals here, are beyond stellar! The first wife, empress did not deserve that kind of love and devotion
But she did bad things to the other woman when they were pregnant! shes evil :(
This empress is such a drama queen.

For real she is delusional. She is going to hell.
Aren't most of them Buddhists? Idk what the Buddhist conception of afterlife is. Reincarnation until you reach perfection? Then what? But I don't think they believe in Heaven above & Hell below.
Did the Empress think that she would not be reincarnated as the insect she was?
What a crummy system. Can you imagine it still exists today. In the middle East some of their cultures allow for multiple wives. Yikes. Not for me
So that’s why Ruyi’s reign and marriage is also tragic because of the curse of this Empress. 🤔
It was inevitable with or without the curse because all the other concubines hated her except for the few they were already plotting to become the second empress and when ruyi was made instead of them they just continued their evil deeds
No he only cared about himself he should have left her alone
I don't believe that
No, its because he is the same, and he gets even worse! Too much $ & fame change a person, he becomes more & more selfish!
Yup!! Ruyi's reign was cursed by the jealous and selfish bitch empress langhua that's why she too died at the end. In that scene the emperor mention that her name..langhua means...splendid woman...hahaha I certianly didn't think she matched her name cos she was so evil and had an evil heart as well.
The fact that she was ok with Concubine Shu to be the next empress..
Glad she is now out of the way only her memories are left. She only was pick because of the Royal mother.
Even in the end, this BIH is trying to manipulate him. She’s on her deathbed trying to convince him she was a good wife. 🤬
The Fucha woman sure did make a big mistake about his bottom line....Ruyi is still being his closest family member & his first cousin.....she shouldn't have spoke.

The empress deserved this
I don’t think she’s a bad person.
@@insoromanoworries7923 that's exactly what I said to someone under another video's comments and they told me that Ive "not watched the series and the Empress was guilty only of the infertility bracelets and the rest was done by Su Lian without her knowledge." He gets more & more selfish, he totally screws over ruyi later on!! Its sad but makes for good drama!
I like noble consort xian
What goes around comes around
He was married to a corpse she looks so old
Does anyone catch on that the Emperor actually killed the Empress? Think about it. His servant was the one who came to feed her "medicine." Why not her servants? He took the opportunity to posion her and get the truth and revenge for Ruyi. She had outlived her purposel she could no longer produce and keep alive hiers. She fought him on their daughter's marriage, and she killed a lot of his kids, too. He needed a legitimate heir. At that time, he loved Ruyi and wanted those heirs to come from her. The empress figured it out a second or two before he left.
👍👍
she was taught how to be a good wife (well u lady had the wrong lessons)
First empress has a laundry list of sins, murders, and lies. Gets covered up/excused by the emperor until she was already dying, but still gets to keep her reputation.
Second empress; gets accused of breathing wrong, and he flies off the handle, especially if she won't put up with his nonsense.
You know, maybe he was just obsessed with Ruyi, because he sure doesn't act like he loves her if he never gives the same grace as the first empress.
Liar, you did all those things to ruyi
Thank you for translating!!
He made her suffer and didn’t protect her he should have left her alone he was arrogant and thought too much of himself he didn’t deserve her very disappointed in him
How? This dude protected her even though he knew all her schemes. Do you remember why Aruo was muted before she died? Well that explain that alot.
He protected her. She was just delusional. She wanted what Ruyi had with the emperor.
Its the empress fault! Some of the pregnant women lost their babies because of the empress:( the empress is evil in this show
True but Ruyi and Hongli were childhood friends. Which most probably didn’t know.
Terrible for women and yes stressful for men im sure.
bitch to the end
She lies so much
It's halloween here and so I have a question. Why are all the medicines in this and the Yanxi Palace dark - whether they are good for you or poison? It's like the medicine is a trick or treat in these dramas!
Mostly because they contained ginseng, or other deep herbs
all eastern medicines are basically herbalistics in nature, it's gonna be that dark color when you boil and reduce 4-5cups of water and a bunch of rooted herbs into 1cup of super bitter medicine. there is a saying in chinese which essentially translated as the more bitter, the better it is for you.
Got it, thank you both. That makes sense.
We cut ties today!!!!”
Who loves a smoocher, a freeloader, a gold digger right?
