Just remember when you remove those off the wall using that tape, depending on how long it’s been on the wall I suggest using a blow dryer on a medium to high heat as it absolutely does take paint off a wall and in some cases if you use too much, it will even take a piece of the drywall Just thought I’d throw that in for anybody who loves that tape this goes for the brand-name, alien tape as well if anyone’s use that caution caution caution, I have photos to prove what it did because I was a little heavy handed with it I own that lol just wanted to share and perhaps save someone some patchinglove the flower idea will be watching for those in Canada and crossing my fingers they come here will probably get snowflakes lol

I showed him the box of the “Alien Tape” where it says “DOESN’T STICK TO WALLS but can hold up to 10/20/30/40 Lbs!”. He just looked at me and said “You got a ‘gimme’ on this one honey…..that’s ONE per year to be clear.” And he just shook his head and I heard him laughing all the way to the garage for the wall filler……it was not his “normal” laugh so I slept with one eye open for a while LOL!!! 😂 Our theory is that it is called “Alien Tape” because it sticks to EVERYTHING BUT ALIENS and DOES NOT stick to what you NEED IT TO, which is most likely, an ALIEN when I catch one! Just a theory. I wrote it down and put beside my tinfoil hat. 👍🏻
I did this because of your video! My Dollar Tree didn’t have the small metal flowers, only the larger ones and then some that came on yard signs. I broke the flowers off the yard signs and spray painted them white, along with some of the larger metal flowers. I love the Space Tape - it works miraculously! I created a beautiful whisp of thin metal flowers across my daughters’ shared bedroom. They love it! It looks so good, like expensive art, if I do say so myself 💁♀️ It was easy and fun! All of them are white minus a few larger flowers that are orange and pink - I left them to match the guava colored wall. It looks so chic, girly, colorful yet simple. Yay! ❤
I don't recommend the space tape on walls. It literally tears the whole layer of paint and paper off drywall leaving large unsightly mess that's much harder to patch than a nail hole would be.
Went to my Dollar Tree. They do not have the flowers. The manager told me the regular DT does not carry them.. only Dollar Tree Plus. She checked warehouse and said they were sold out. 😢
I have some big metal flowers just like these about 3 years ago. I was literally just wondering 2 days ago if I should get rid of them because the sun has beat down on them. I purchased mine from JoAnns. Dah 😅 I don't know why the thought of spray painting them could bring them back to life. ❤

Kathryn, I’d love to put these metal flowers on my bathroom wall using space tape. I rent and I’m worried that removal might damage the walls. Have you tried removing one yet? Perhaps you could video the removal process for us. I would really appreciate seeing such a video before I commit to using them.

I rent, so now this is a big issue… I tried patching; however, it’s very noticeable as my walls were pristine before. I don’t recommend using the space tape at all if you are renting or if you value your walls as a homeowner. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. A pretty cheap DIY now will cost me a whole lot more 🙄.

Ooooaaaf, take those off your wall cuz once the glue dries out on that space tape/nano tape, it will ripe your Sheetrock. Trust me I have two places I need to patch!

If you grab a corner and pull it horizontal versus vertical, it will come off easily with no problems. You just go slow. 👍

One time I used it, it tore a chunk of wood right off the trim! They could use this stuff to patch holes in submarines.
I absolutely love those metal flowers. I hope they come out in butterflies like them. Our guest bedroom is done in butterflies.
