The biggest issue with this boss is how delayed the movement of Sqwaks is and how godly fast and precise you have to be to stand a chance. Also spamming nuts will lock his direction making it THAT much harder to evade and dodge at the same time. I love you rate but this boss is NOT fairly designed.
I really like Sqwaks but this boss can be so frustrating. The boss’s weak point is its red sting but it’s easy to get hit while trying to get in to position and fire at that spot.
It someone is once you get the pattern the pattern basically is go all the way down to the bottom wait till he starts going right then go up a little to hear them fly all the way to the right then all the way back down to avoid his next woot wait until next time keep waiting that will help you with him when he's just the Big B the little B that's a different issue LOL mostly I just go as far away as I can and Spitz seeds randomly
The easiest way to beat this level: 1) become the bird, but don't leave the spawn area. 2) position the bird so that it's beak is half way through the honey comb wen he is shooting his balls. 3 ) shoot at the bird over and over till u hit it. 4) wen u hit it the second time , he will come towards u, shooting the stinger.. Slowly go left while he's competing towards you and he will miss. If he gets u with the stingers then u weren't far enough to the right. 5 hit him again 6) hit him again and same thing as step 4. 7) keep hitting him till he dies and turns into small bees. 8) wen he turns into small bees, leave the spawn area, get the barrel to get extra life. 9) kill all small bees.
I like how the zinger storyline was in the donkey kong country series, queen b and king zing sting were the leaders among the zinger family and at donkey kong country 3 were both of them were dead, k. rool had to use mechanical zingers instead of the usual zingers
Yes. They are ruled byKing Zing and their headquarter beehive- royal palace was in the abandoned lunapark of Crocodile Isle . Queen B. has a lesser authority than the king, who was their absolute ruler, and she ruled them in their expedition in DK isle. When the Crocodile isle sinks, they lose their beehives and their rulers are dead, so their species is extincted and must be replaced by mechanical copies of them :s I love this continuity , really rare in 2d games!

Not funny, it's just a story continuity and this is really cool and rare in 2D games. For example Mario games are always totally disconnected bewtween them. However, Queen B. didn't die in DK1 (because when killed she was only fainted) but King Zing literally died! :S
@@darkleo96 Well from that logic, Krow should never have died because Krow only fainted in the SNES version. Unless the ship capsized or something. Smh. Of course the GBA version makes more sense with you actually seeing the Kreepy Krow leave the body.
@@dahnamics1 this is right , infact when I was a child I thought krow and kreepy krow were 2 different birds (I had only the SNES version without the ghost animation, so I thought Krow didn't die after demise). However , like you said Queen B. can be dead despite her fainted animation like Krow, maybe before the battle. The fact that she doesn't appear again and that she is replaced by king zing (and not a Queen B" revenge" stage) makes this more possible.
Played this on the Switch so could make suspend points in the middle of the fight to go back to every time I died. Must have done that at least a hundred times... I know it’s sort of cheating but know this all you who played this when it came out in the 90’s: You have my deepest respect
90s baby here... He's difficult? King Zing wasn't that hard at all - his movement pattern is pretty well defined. You just have to time your shots right. Instead of trailing him from behind, wait for him to fly upwards and sneak a shot on his stinger from down below - it's much more efficient. Once you get to his second phase, the fight's pretty much over.

I don't remember what the manual says, but the way I see it is that Diddy and Dixie literally transforms in to a body that looks like Squawks. Bird body, monkey minds.
I personally really like what they did with this boss fight, first you get chased as Rambi by him with some intense music. And then the fight itself is pretty fun.
An abandoned Lunapark reduced to be a ruined area with abandoned roller coasters, used by Klanks to do dangerous races and Zingers to have their beehive headquarter thanks to the swamp formed with years of abandonment of the area. The boss is the giant king of Zingers with a cool boss fight. Nintendo was really badass in that times!
I actually broke down crying in depression because you made this look so easy. I’ve tried this level hundreds of times and I don’t have a single real life friend who can help me with video games. Autism is horrible.
Yeah this guy defo is. You have to aim for his sting so most of the time you'll be hitting his back. Plus having to fecking hover everywhere, and dont even get me started on the last part
I love this boss fight, however, it always low-key bothered me that you didn’t have Diddy & Dixie in this fight. I think having it so that they’re holding onto Squawks like in other levels it would have been better. I understand that he can move more freely without them “weighing” him down. But I think for this fight only he could move at the same speed despite carrying the Kongs. There’s so few unique bosses in the game, 4 out of 7 are “clones” Two K.Rool fights, and two fights with Krow. I know the two Krow fights are vastly different, but the design is relatively the same, (I do like the ghost concept though) so it would have been nice to have them in this fight too. Maybe I’m overreacting lol 😅 Still one of my fav games EVER!
It's all about where the boss is when you hit him. I just beat this boss a few days ago by staying in the starting point. You have to hit the bee while he's as far away as possible. When he tries to come toward you just back up and he shouldn't be able to hit you.
Look this boss is crazy hard until you get the pattern and even then not so easy once he turns into many bees. Just stay at all the way in the bottom to the left wait till swoops by jump up wants shoot go to the right all the way back to the bottom to avoid him swooping again continue to do that until he's many bees then stay as far away as you can randomly shoot until they're down to one then just avoid the bee every time you hit him find a new place to hit him again and you'll be good to go
I'VE BEEN STUCK HERE SINCE APRIL. YOU DO IT IN UNDER TWO MINUTES? I actually beat it today and then died in the next world without saving. So that sucks.
Next time before you go to the next stage go to Kong Kollege to save it, by the time you hit game over again it'll resume there with the boss level defeated and go to Funky Flights to go to the new stage
Hardest fuking boss of all time man. You have to hit the large zinger 4 dam times, then you have to hit the small one three times, while trying to control that damn bird. I took be countless tries to beat this.

I love the boss theme in DKC2. It's so inspiring and full of emotion... It completely gives you the feeling of a tiny being facing a mighty beast
right a lot of people didn't like the 5th world boss, Kreepy Krow, but the idea of a huge ghost bird over is enough to make you run lol.

This game increased my fear of bees thanks to the overwhelming uncomfortable experience of what a hard boss this was.

I think you can cheese this boss by staying in the top left corner. I figured it out as a kid. Can't remember exactly though
