I got goosebumps! Growing up we also ground our corn kernels in stone mill because the village where I was born and raised in the Philippines didn’t have electricity in those times. Simple life yet full of respect and love. Children don’t lose hope, one day you will do great that your ancestors can be proud of. Some of you will leave one day and find a greener pastures, but like me, I am sure you will always look back and never forget where You came from.❤️❤️❤️
These are the type of films and movies which makes oneself glow in righteous virtue and thereby wish each one of these simple folks, peace and abundant happiness and prosperity, all without any malice and or greed, hatred.
What a beautiful documentary is this. Every thing is too perfect. Raji population is here in my state uttarakhand has a significant history. These people taught us how to live with harmony by balancing the man and nature contribution together and I think this is the real way to live in this world.
I love these documentaries. They showed up in my recommended, and I have been watching at least one a day for a while! The narration style, humble topics and overall representation of niche and culturally rich groups and nationalities are spot on.

I also respect these people and admire them for their ways and being one with the earth I thank them for giving me a reminder to be respectful to all and a lesson in humility and be grateful for what you got and love the one your wife appreciate documentary
Beautiful documentary based on Golden Masheer. The legendary golden scale of this game fish is wonderfully depicted within the spirit of a holy deity Kanyakumari showering blessings of gold dust carried on its fins and scales to deliver in the river system for these nomadic people to collect and prosper. May these Masheers multiply in abundance.
But they need vaccines, or they will die, and the Grammys, so they have culture, and CNN, so they know what is true, and the internet to download porn, and an iPhone to keep in touch, and the latest sneakers to be cool and a nanny state to protect them. These poor souls have nothing . . . sigh.
I am fascinated watching these innocent people. They live in harmony with nature and that makes them the most simple and happiest people on earth. It takes simplicity to be happy.
I would love to travel there. But I must say only as a tourist at this stage. The world is an amazing place and you have found some beautiful gold pockets that teach us not everyone knows how we live and how a lot have not worked hard for what we have. These ppl deserve it. But they wouldn’t trade it. Such happy ppl.. I pray they find the golden fish each time they go. As they only take one. Rainbows are magical in everyone’s languages. I enjoyed watching this.
Nice living along the river. It is easy to find fish 🐟 to make food. I had been living along a river when I was young. It was Tonle Shap river in Cambodia. It was full of fish at that time.
So nice place and good peoples to...even a simple life..u can see they happy and contented for what they have..god bless them..and give more blessing..
I’m not Indian or Nepalese, but I like listening to the music (drum and flute?) which are played in this documentary. They’re mystical and moving. In terms of the fishes,,, come visit Canada and go to any of the 5 Great Lakes (like Ontario, Huron, Eerie, etc) and I will catch endless amounts if carps for them free of charge.
Not just the tone.. he spoke every word with respect, and his perspective of these innocent souls, As we always say "Incredible India" our tourism motto, I'm asking myself did I ever tried to know how incredible it is? our ethnicities, nomadic souls, they are always marginalized, and we cared little..Respect every fellow being, respect the mother nature, live in harmony❤️❤️❤️
That's what the Nepalese people behold a smile in hardship and a resilient heart to overcome the hardship!! And trust me I had a huge smile when they caught the golden Masheer!
Every videos I have watched here in your channel is so perfect and want me to watch more and more. This video is perfection! I am from Philippines and Nepal is one of the country that is still in my travel bucket list💙
Truly a fish of the gods indeed. A close cousin of the mahseer is selling like USD 150 per 100 gm here in SEA and China. Locals in Malaysia and Indonesia calls it Empurau, the Chinese call it Unforgettable in Mandarin.
Hope little guy spread the kwnologe , hope he won't go to the big city ,hope he gets old with a good life , not like me old ,tired ,sick, no future..god bless you guys, why i left mi home , san pablo macuiltianguis , Oaxaca, mexcic o . i wish that i am still there.
A beautifully crafted storyline. But the sublime beauty is the people and their way of life with Nature. So pure and peaceful. You can see it in their eyes, their laughter. But gold can corrupt and so my misgiving. Hopefully not, and I much hope that gold panning does not mean greed and polluting the lovely river with mercury. That would be so sad.
That’s very interesting way of living, no matter how hard life is they all manage to be happy and contented, besides Unity and Respect are always with them💯👍👍👍
