Syria is in much need of some love. It’s always been a great map however, it’s graphically inferior to Sinai yet I can’t pull as much performance on it as the latter. It is the most popular terrain module and I hope ED will continue to work on improving the region. Nonetheless, I will not be holding my breath for any of the upcoming updates and features as I cannot have faith that ED will deliver as promised. Too many areas where ED is significantly lacking to the point where I’m not willing to to buy into new content like Iraq due to deeper concerns. And with more advanced teams like OrbX brining Kola to DCS, ED should move away from producing the maps themselves and more to supporting 3rd party company development. I would like to see ED address the bigger concerns in their community. For them to commit to putting 100% into modules that have been neglected, and core sim improvements such as graphics, Campaign and optimisation. I really feel that ED needs to purely focus on the sim alone and the projects they have on the go, rather than producing more early access release and half baked projects. Leave airframes and maps to 3rd party developers. Let’s start to see quality over quantity and ED looking into the future working with 3rd parties to combine the best of Digital Combat Simulator 👍🏼
Ok good points all around but I still don't think they are doing that badly yes there are issues but we have updates coming through and people flying and having fun still. Right.

Well, very nice update but it's merges Palmachim (Pal-Ma-Khim) base with Ashdod sea port that is 30 miles away but cool :)

Im getting great peformance with Caucasus, is Syria about same fps level? Looking to get it
Syria is about 30-50% "heavier" it has a lot more detail...

No no in dcs maps and modules are separate
How do you find a list of destructible objects in DCS.
Good question I betcha I can find it in the source files let me look into it I have some very smart guys in my squad they may know
