Everybody's talkin about the singer (who's great by the way) but no one's mentioning how great of a band this is. The guitar solo was spot on!! These guys rock
This is what David Coverdale always wanted to sound like while playing live shows. Amazing work all the way around. Richie even nailed that awkward little fast run at the end of the guitar solo. Awesome stuff!

I'm a bass that can cheat into the baritone range, and I am jealous as hell that Mike can hit these high notes. I mean, he totally nails it with pitch and tone, as you said. I think Richie says what we were all thinking.
Then he sings like Ronnie James Dio another legendary singer other than David Coverdale 😮 and another great lyricist like Adrian Vandenberg 😮. My jaw the entire time that emoji I posted twice .

I am 55 yrs old and have been in cover bands all my life. That being said I know every nuance of every song I'm hearing from Mr Mike Tirelli and I am absolutely FLOORED! The command, the control, and the unbelievable ability this man has, one has to be born with, to a huge degree. I've been around many many singers, especially singers doing other singers and I've maybe ran across this level of talent once or twice! I am simply STUNNED at this guys capabilities as a vocalist! And to say I'm captivated is one huge understatement! Thank you for such exhilarating covers that truly are even better than the originals! I never thought I would ever have the need to even say that! Freaking awesome just doesn't describe what I've heard from you guys! God bless you all!

Dude hits those insane Coverdale high notes. Monster vocalist w/sustain, projection, incredible vibrato control. Guitarist nails solo. Bassist, drummer, keys, whole band is superbly talented 🤘🏽

That was a ridiculous performance. I'm stunned at how good and accurate these guys are.
You know, I've been following Richie and his crew for quite a while. I can honestly say without reservation that if all the music on Earth disappeared, and people wanted to know what it really sounded like, they could go to Richie and Band Geek for an accurate rendition of the original. I've got about 50+ years of experience as a classically trained pianist, rock musician, blues musician, jazz musician, progressive metal musician, sound engineer, recording engineer, mix engineer, and mastering engineer. Richie knows his stuff, and due to his outstanding abilities across the board, including digital technologies, he fully knows how to express it. His entire supporting group are spot on, and could not gel more perfectly if they were wind-up robots. One cannot fathom the amount of work and dedication involved it requires to produce the quality of what you're seeing here before your eyes. I do, since I also hold double masters from MIT in engineering. I say BRAVO/BRAVA to the entire team of Band Geek for their perseverance over the years to their fan base, and especially to Richie for crafting/creating this project that was once but a podcast (yes, I've been around THAT long). Retired, but not obsolete, people still contact me for mastering where I've done multiple albums for them in the past... I can't refuse them...but NO MORE live performances, or going back on the road for several years. Playing only happens in my studio, they are generally classical piano selections that I record for posterity, and usually give me back pains when they exceed five minutes. I'll leave the excellent covers I hear online to you folks, people that obviously know what playing an instrument is all about.
