I have the M&P sport AR-15. What I did was buy a blem lower from PSA. I put the FRT in the lower with a H3 buffer and changed the bolt to a full auto. This thing is the most fun I have ever had. Of course I’m going broke with ammo. If I can only get it to fire single shots I would be a happy camper and I wouldn’t have to change lowers depending where I shoot. One of my local indoor ranges will let me shoot it but the other won’t. The outdoor range where I usually go to shoot will not let me shoot anything that resembles full auto, it’s a county range.
Great video!. I like how you use the most affordable options for us regular joes. Definitely a fun range day with this set up. A really good way to get rapid fire without breaking the bank. Thanks
@Bullseye Ballistics Increased backpressure runs the bolt faster. Faster bolt, faster rate of fire. But you believe what ever you wish. That's why folks combat that faster bolt unlocking with heavier springs, buffers etc... to slow things down. Your statement isn't completely wrong. It makes valid points but a can increases the rate of fire if your simply comparing with and without without changes to the host fire arm.
@Bullseye Ballistics I'm just making up these times but say it takes 0.1 seconds for the bolt to cycle without a suppressor, with 0.05 seconds to send the bolt back and 0.05 for the buffer to push the bolt back into battery. Add a suppressor that increases backpressure and now the bolt gets pushed back in 0.03 seconds and still resets in 0.05 for a total of 0.08 seconds to cycle. Over 30 rounds that difference adds up.
