I think its funny that at 5:40 while he explains the dreadnaught set while fighting with it, a dreadnaught spawns in the distance, like "Hey babe, you called?"
10/10 Minecraft mod showcase, here is a in-depth analysis as to why: 1. Thumbnail The thumbnail is phenomenal, the image represents what the video will be showcasing about all in one. It also has a colourful feel which can catch many eyes. 2. Title The title perfectly describes what the video will be about with few words and looks good both on mobile and PC. 3. Description The info shown in the description is amazing. Everything right in one video. 4. Time stamps Usefull and clean transitions. An argument can be made however, to many time stamps, it could become to overwhelming to some and people might avoid using it. That however is very unlikely and doesn't have that great of an impact but do take in note that to many time stamps can be overwhelming especially if it is a short video. 5. Audio The beginning audio is menacing, fits nicely. Throughout the video, an chilling ambient music plays, it sounds a bit weird when played with the other sound effects. Example, when a crafting recipe is shown it plays a pop sound effect, combined with the ambient music and it just sounds a bit odd. The music played during the food section is good, slightly chill music and the topic is about food and building blocks. The ambience near the end was fine. 6. Speech and grammar The words spoken could make me shed a tear. Short, easy to understand and nice grammar. 7. Editing I'm speechless, truly a RUclips moment. 8. Gameplay The gameplay shown is nice, smooth and most importantly combines well with all the other elements. 9. Length of video Personally I find it to be just right for a Minecraft mod showcase, not to short or long and doesn't waste anyones time with stutters or any of that sort. Conclusion: Definitely would recommend to a SAR player because the video is high quality. Side notes: If there any grammar errors or things I could have written more nicely in this analysis then feel free to give a reply.
Thank you for the in-depth analysis! Looking back, 26 timestamps is a bit much but I do like giving people easy access to specific parts of the video. As for the popping sound, it definitely didn't fit the theme but it's the Minecraft pick up noise so I decided it would fit well enough. 🙂
the nests addon is also very good to have. Crimson says it ramps up the difficulty but if you know how to fight primitive long arms you can beat a nest about 5 minutes in on first day giving access to gore set by beginning of second day assuming you put the time into processing things and slay some zombos during the night. I have done this in every SRP world past the first where i had just the base SRP mod and i have not lost a single world since due to having ample gore peices and stable lure components. TLDR if you know what to do the nests addon is a ez early power spike.
pppls still uses daimond armour with enchanting mod that have 10 levels of enchanments but stil losses idk why they dont even use this equipments and tools
11:30 so it turns you into a monster with a taste for other monsters. Thats some roleplay (no not THAT kinda roleplay.) potential if I've ever seen it! *Time for the hunters to become the hunted.*
I hope there’s an update or a add-on that allows different mobs like dragons from iPhone fire to be infected I can just imagine a giant stage five fire dragon flying around shooting parasite bulb that would be really cool
I can't say for sure, but I personally use complementary shaders for everything Minecraft related. You can tweak the settings to make the world feel grimmer to really set the mood
Ok, I gotta ask. Anyone who is familiar with Epic Fight Mod, are the weapons in SRP compatible with the mod? Is it possible to make a compatibility mod for that? And would/do the new attack animations make fighting the paradites easier/harder/have no effect?
I'm not too sure, the addons feel incomplete imo. Especially the combat addon, the twisted armor gives a bunch of bonuses like run speed, jumping, and negating fall damage while the better armor doesn't have that stuff. Just to name one thing
What am I think about SRP without noucube? I don't know, I've never can living in this mod long enough for seeing parasite biome, I even like this mod, but I'm trying to find guide about fighting with Assimilated endermen! Seriously, I want to see how other people fight them, because I REALLY don't understand, what I can to do with theme, else just run and pray.
I hate to say it but disabling the sim endermen is what most people do. As you know, vanilla endermen are countered by staying under a 2 block gap, but the sim enderman has a crawling variant and also teleports other shorter parasites. So...there's really no counter
5 Options for dealing with simmermen that i have had success with are as follows in order of which has the highest success rate for survival, NOT killing them. #1 Jump into the nearest large body of water and start swinging at the simmermen, this makes them alot less spazzy and easier to hit. #2 (requires unusual items) Always keep a bucket of lava and a nonsplash potion of fire resistance on you. When simmermen jump you place lava bucket then drink fire res while lava expanding before jumping into lava when fire res is on. If you use shields hold that sucker up till it breaks and only take it down to eat. #3 (depends on simmermen type) pillar up 4 blocks with a single block above your head in the shape of a question mark ------> ?. That prevents standing simmermen from teleporting themselves or anything else directly onto you. This method only buys you time so i recomend fighting the simmermen toe to toe until about 3/4 hp then useing this build to heal safely. #4 (requires SRP NoCube Combat addon) Have pestilent set equipped {my preferred set} and twisted knife in secondary melee slot. use combo of the slow 2 and speed 2 to kite simmermen while whittling down their hp. #5 (depends on terrain generation) elevation abuse of natural terrain can be used to gain distance from, ensure first hit or if lucky outright kill simmermen. Recognizing certain types of terrain gives certain benifits, but this is allready kinda long so instead of saying why ill just say what does what A-going up a small hill makes simmermen slower B-hitting simmermen from lower place gives slightly longer player reach C-simmermen run off cliffs quite often by mistake and die of fall dmg You can combine these in any manner you desire, i personally go with a mix of numbers 4,5A and 3 and i keep a strength 2 potion on me always for that extra omph.

Also that doesn't make complete sense because colony carries are dropping overlord cores and also because of config changes in my pack that reduces some damage and health multipliers by a bit the colony carrier only has 160HP but drops overlord cores. Weird.

troubled boys they're a youtuber duo/trio who does exactly that. their current record is day 27 i think. that was in hardcore. They play like absolute CHADS in the purest sense of the term so they dont ever get very far but their 11 attempts give a pretty good idea how strong the armour/ weapons are.
eh, I will take my statement back anyways, information is easily accessible but some of em either: think they can brush through or try not to do so because of another mod that seems better. so I'd not blame them since I would probably be as a clueless baby if I didn't know what it was.@@petrusv8752

I would choose to wear the chest plate and helmet so that I could eat lots of rotten pie, kept in a wood block. The other blocks take suffering to make. I would feed not so nice minecraft individuals buglin larva ... hope the toilet is vacant. Lol. I like the flame throwers and the pic ax unless the arrows were on fire. I would avoid the parasite nest location and take my chances underground with the heat and sharp teeth.

Yeahhh the spawn rate for that structure is a little high. I think what they should do is make it so the nests and flesh worm can't generate within 300 blocks of spawn (0,0)
i had a world spawn where i spawned INSIDE a nest. i had to abuse login immunity frames to get far enough away to die without soft locking the world. ended up scraping that world like 5 min later cause everything else about spawn was very meh.

@@CrimsonGamingMC preeminents are like the only mob you have no reason to murder makeing them a perfect horror creature. -you gain nothing from fighting it other than possibly not dieing -it is almost impossible to kill -half of them are invisible -gives nothing of value even IF it dies -has loud long range sound ques that give enough info to know if your dead or close to death -Running away is difficult but not impossible and is the best option by far. Coming across a preeminent reinforces the idea that you CANT beat parasites, only survive them. Like a zombie that never stays dead and always knows where you are SRP makes the player understand that they cant hide, only 'SCAPE n' RUN.
I always loved the parasite mod, it was so fascinating the first time I saw now it has become a very refined and well known across the Minecraft community and sadly the worst part is that I play on console, and for the longest time I don’t have a computer to install the mod and play it myself.

@@CrimsonGamingMCthe nest needs rework it should spawn just manducator instead of longarms like they deal alot in start and also is it bug in the scape and run where you get overlord in bosses and the flying version of it cuz everytime i kill very op modded boss i get those orbs thats only for overlord and that flying thing

i've been using these mods for months and is clueless about 99% of the mods until now
same. I thought every armour set had a special set bonus but only like half of them do.
But what parasites give u the pieces required to make gore piece?
Altered Tendons: Dropped by all Primitive parasites and Thrall
Toxic Lung: Dropped by all Adapted parasites
Noxious Brain: Dropped by all Pure and Preeminents
Essential Segment: Parasitic sacs found in the parasite biome have a 5% chance to drop this
Makes the mod almost possible to survive!

@@CrimsonGamingMC preeminents are like the only mob you have no reason to murder makeing them a perfect horror creature.
-you gain nothing from fighting it other than possibly not dieing
-it is almost impossible to kill
-half of them are invisible
-gives nothing of value even IF it dies
-has loud long range sound ques that give enough info to know if your dead or close to death
-Running away is difficult but not impossible and is the best option by far.
Coming across a preeminent reinforces the idea that you CANT beat parasites, only survive them.
Like a zombie that never stays dead and always knows where you are SRP makes the player understand that they cant hide, only 'SCAPE n' RUN.
I always loved the parasite mod, it was so fascinating the first time I saw now it has become a very refined and well known across the Minecraft community and sadly the worst part is that I play on console, and for the longest time I don’t have a computer to install the mod and play it myself.

@@CrimsonGamingMCну на самом деле пропал он не полностью, изредка в сообществе можно увидеть посты, последний пост был месяца 3-4 назад и в нём говорилось что он готовит новое видео но не срослось.... ну вообще если прочитать все посты складывается впечатление что снимать видео ему банально пришлось и он вероятнее всего ушёл в мододелство(в последнем видео была моделька какой-то акулу возможно из мода что он сделал и выставил с другого ака чтоб не привлекать внимание)

I still intend to do another update video or two. I'm waiting for a bigger update to drop before I do anything
From what I know now, they planned on completing the mod after (1.12.2).
