I always thought that Epson had worse off machines, HP for instance has a lot easier to replace and cheaper printheads. I had a Designjet 4000 which after not printing anything for 3 years, all it took was soaking the heads in warm water and buying a cleaning kit for th heads. After flushing the insides she was fine. I do miss that machine.

I have a P9000 that I cannot get the PK and LK nozzles to clear...put in new cartridges on both. Many cleaning cycles...Windex, paper towels overnight...spraying capping station...Is there a secret I'm not aware of...or do I just replace the print head? Can I do it myself? Enjoy the kid while he's young, it gets worse.

Do you think it's the EJECT GUIDE UNITE on the printer? This printer wasn't used for at least 10 months. Please help, if you can.

I did print Great nozzle check and status sheet.. it was a few years old (out of warranty) and its stuck in a Cleaning Cycly/Fail Mode... Epson telling me $1300 to send tech out...Your thoughts?
