Could you make a video about salary progression at London law firms? I saw your video about the different remuneration models like lockstep and eat what you kill -what interests me is how much salaries increase and progress over the years in a lockstep model :) There is a lot of information about trainee salaries and NQ salaries online, but I have no idea what happens after one qualifies!
Hi Gordon! Thanks for another great video! I'm wondering if you'd be able to make a video about career changers into law e.g. tax/ consulting/ business into law etc. I'm graduating this year without a TC, so I'm thinking about working in other fields first and keep applying for law firms at the meantime. I know personally you haven't got this kind of experience, so don't worry if you can't cover this topic. Thanks!
Not sure if I have a whole video explaining tips for career changers but for sure I can share my experience as someone who was not familiar with the U.K. legal market and how I overcame
What if the trainee messes up the job and harms the case? What if the trainee is instructed to exaggerate the claim/allegations - perhaps making civil allegations criminal? Are trainees culpable for drafting untruthful witness statements on behalf of dishonest clients?
This year will be my first year at law school and I would like to get tattoos on the area between my shoulder and elbow. Will this be a problem for me in business life?
Hi Gordon! I was interested in pursuing a legal career but I was wondering how the work-life balance is? especially as a trainee solicitor. If you wanted to work 3-4 days a week like a GP or another professional could in some field, would that be possible as a solicitor? Thank you so much!
Hope you enjoy this video and have a lovely sunday!
Useful stuff! Thanks Gordon
No worries!

I will definitely consider doing that Miriam, hopefully I can gather more information as I’m working as a trainee!
