Hello Gordon, thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos, your content has been really helpful and enlightening, can you please tell me if it's possible to become an associate at a law firm in the uk without being a solicitor or a member of any other bar association, particularly in the field of international arbitration since you will not be dealing with state courts that require you to be registered at the bar. Thanks again for what you do, cheers mate.
I think in general you may not need to be a U.K. Lawyer, but I would say being a lawyer in other jurisdictions will be preferable as the competition is too keen for non-lawyers to compete. But it’s not impossible I guess
Hi Gordon, really enjoyed this video! It gives a good idea on what to expect as a trainee solicitor in the UK. Can you also do a Collab video, with one of your friends from the in-house? How should international students/lawyers start with their job application process or what kind of roles can they apply, if the are interested in joining as an in-house lawyer of a company? It would be really helpful on deciding what career path one should take after their LLM in the UK. Thanks in advance :)
Hi Gordon, thanks for another great video! Can you give some suggestions/make a video on things to do the summer before starting law school to better prepare yourself? I will be first year llb student this September :) thanks!
Hi Gordon! I must say that the content of your videos are unique and extremely helpful. Can I ask, what is that 1 habit you think a lawyer should not have in their lives?

I think you can start looking for some really informal work experiences! Some firms have schemes for pre-law students!

I think being constantly open minded to changes is very important!
