@@Advenchas Yes, John's warmth and enthusiasm are contagious and evident in everything he does. He makes the world a better place by leaving that with all who meet him. You may already have seen it, but I thought i'd tell you in case not - Huell Howser did a whole show with John, in I believe 2000, and then again in 2010, and that's special to see because John's got his whole family with him, his parents in the first show and his grandsons in the second. It was great Huell got there to do another one because shortly afterward he sadly passed. But they were two peas in a pod, so it's fun to see them together! The whole thing is on youtube! Also while I'm here let me pass on something important - check out Share the Meal, an app where 50 cents feeds a hungry child for the day! Very deeply needed - please pass it on! All the best!

Galco's is a lot of fun. I'm from Montreal and in March last year I happened to have an event I was attending in LA. I was with my friends and had a few hours to kill and kept saying, "We've got to go to Galco's! If there's one thing I do in this city, it's going to Galco's!" So we drove down and spent about an hour touring the place. Unfortunately John didn't seem to be having the best of days, he wasn't very talkative, but it was still a great joy to meet the legend himself. Honestly I could have bought half the store. The only thing that stopped me was that I was getting on a plane the next day and didn't want glass to shatter in my luggage. Did manage to get my mom some rose and cucumber sodas, and for myself I had a nice variety of butterscotch ones. In a way I'm glad I live so far away, because I'm on Keto and if I was a local I'd be sipping on several sodas a day.

I watched that Visiting with Huell Howser and his second episode as well. I remember Huell from Palm Springs where he was a friend of my brother who did metal work for Huell's homes, first in Palm Springs and then the Domed home in Newberry Springs. I was saddened by his death. Huell wasn't a phony, he was genuinely interested in other people and what they did unless they were hateful, he didn't like that, but who does?
I seem to remember a cola brand that i picked up in a beverage store in bklyn ny if im not mistaken it was in the early 80's it was in a glass 3 liter bottle and its name was POP my question do you carry this product and if not have you heard about it !!!
