Yeah, this was the point where episodes became extremely meh and unoriginal.
This was about the same time where Veggietales stopped trying to write songs in multiple genres, and just did pop songs.
We actually see the carrot lady in Saint Nicolas (but she's married to Laura's dad from that episode).
but that is from the 1993 to 2010 era
We also see Laura's mom in pistachio
I do kind of want the "Top 10 Dumbest things Larry has said," but I think it would make more sense to separate them into an Original Veggietales, and an In the House/City list, sense otherwise the single list would probably be dominated by the latter series.
VT and VT on Netflix are not even in the same universe in my mind ;)

Actually, this episode was based off of the book The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain. They obviously gave the episode a modern twist, though. Also, I'm glad to see that Cartoons for Christ was good for something 😂
Yeah this is kind of a parody of both the main original story and the twist Barbie did a parody of Prince and the pauper three times first turning the protagonist into a princess second turning the deuteragonist into a pop star third doing a fairytale parody in the real world I wish it was called pauper and the pop star because the princess in this story is not a princess at all it's really a poor unfortunate farm girl it's just her name I don't even know why they would call her princess when she definitely is not a princess the pop star is the princess here

Without a computer to load songs onto an iPod Nano, it basically would be just a radio. (The iPod Nano does have a radio function that uses the earbud cable as an antenna, so it could make sense.)

Pistachio and onward for the most part are just bland episodes. I like to separate the VeggieTales series into four eras: The 1993-2004 era, the 2004-2009 era, the 2010-2014 era, and the 2014-present era. The first era where Phil Vischer was in charge and it was great, the second era after the bankruptcy which was still pretty good, the third era where they parodied Disney a lot and was just bland overall, and the fourth era with the redesigns and the Netflix series. I liked the Noah's Ark episode but the Netflix series is pretty bad.
Anyway, great review. When will the next fan written episode be out, by the way?

This is definitely the opposite of it's a meaningful life which is much better than this garbage in that episode Larry did not bother Bob like he does in most episodes in this episode he did in that episode Larry married the right person and has three really cute kids not to mention a really sweet daughter named Emma in this episode he married the wrong person and has way too many kids who are nothing but trouble in that episode the story focused on a grown man in this episode the story focused on a child and the only thing that this episode wins over it's a meaningful life is the animation besides that this episode is garbage 1.like i said Larry married the wrong person and has way too many kids who are nothing but trouble were in it's a meaningful life he married the right person and has three really cute kids not to mention a really sweet daughter named Emma I love that name so much better than princess it's the perfect name for a really cute girl 2.princess is spoiled whining undeveloped and as for the other main character she's super weird and not just because she has a career as a child and doesn't go to school and make friends but she's crazy I mean it makes sense that she wants to live an ordinary life and make friends but living on a farm kids everywhere she's totally a robot 3.How come no one notices that "vanna's" skirt is green with wage stickers instead of plain old pink? and the same for "princess" how come no one notices her skirt is a different color? How come no one notices the skirts are different colors? Also how come no one notices where vanna's eyelashes went? Or where "princess" got her eyelashes from? And the other errors the curves on princess' apron start off blue on princess and then turn white on vanna the same thing for the bow it starts off white on princess and then changes to purple on vanna and how come no one notices that "vanna" is not wearing her earrings? And were did they go when vanna dressed up as princess? And how come princess wasn't shocked when she realized that vanna is wearing a wig? And how can a wig fit other two buns? And the moral they tagged on was not very good I mean what princess poppyseed and her family were saying was completely * crap I mean while the rest of the poppyseed family were noticing that there was something wrong with princess Mrs poppyseed is just going along with the new princess she doesn't even ask her how she is getting along with pepper and when she asked if she didn't want a life like vanna banana's anymore she is just I'm glad like she doesn't even want anyone in her family to wish for a better life like it's okay if people wished for a different life they just have to get over it and relazie that this is the life God has planned for them and what princess said about wanting to rejoin the poppyseed family she is all like I don't want to be vanna anymore I would really like to be a poppyseed again that's so random don't see how much your life sucks? The better line for you to say would have been to be honest I really don't like my life but I finally understand that God made vanna to be vanna and me to be and there's a big problem with the way princess and vanna sing princess seems to be very good at singing luabuys and the worst singer to be a pop star like how can you make someone be have a really good signer and have a really bad singer and with vanna her talking and singing voice are completely different so why didn't the poppyseed family relazie that "princess'" voice well singing voice was vanna banana? And when she says she is not a princess how come only the kids are shocked and not the parents? And she even stated that she lied when she didn't say anything and she is all like princess's life is the one I wished I had and my life is exactly what she wished she had she donsen't even explain why she wanted princess's life and princess wanted her's and at first she donsen't even tell them who she is like oh I'm not princess but I'm not telling you who I am and there are problems with the poppyseed house 1.it looks more like a castle than a farm 2.why are they using a phone from the early 90s when we have iPhones now? 3. There are four bunk beds when usually they are only two seriously why are four kids sharing the same room? That's too much and why is Mrs poppyseed asking princess to invite pepper to the park? when she is supposed to be asking him if he would like to go to the park? And the biggest problem is that princess poppyseed seems to care about pepper like seriously after the way she treated him? How can she be worried about him? And why is she blaming herself on everything? when it was vanna's fault too it was her idea that's why it's a meaningful life is a lot better than this piece of crap not only because Larry has a much better life in that movie than he does in this but it also has a much better moral about God's plan than this it helped us learn that even if you never get the life that you wanted you should always look on the bright side and be happy with the life God gave you the moral here seems to be telling us we shouldn't want the life God didn't give us no matter how miserable you are with the one you have the only thing this episode wins over it's a meaningful life is the animation not the best but a lot better than in it's a meaningful life
