My great Uncle had a tragic death while the construction of Navy Pier. On his lunch break my Great Uncle dove in head first to cool off. He never came up. He was brought up covered black in silt. He broke his neck his head hit bottom. The area he dove in was more shallow than he thought. My great Grandma had to identify his body & at first bcz of the silt on him she did not recognize him. I do not know if any Chicago historians are aware of my Uncles death as a young man on Navy Pier or not ?? I have never heard anyone tell the story but my own family who was there.

Maybe some rich people moved to Marina City because it was convenient, safe, "groovy," and they happened to be able to afford it... doesn't necessarily make them racists. And I can tell you that people of all colors will move out of neighborhoods where crime increases, if they can afford to do it. Don't get me wrong. There was white racism, and it was certainly as bad as black racisim in parts (though manifested differently). But "white flight," which may have existed to some extent, may have simply been "sell-and-get-out-while-you-still-can." And those who worked in the Loop and had enough money may have simply found Marina City to be a logical place to move.

Had a experience at the Chicago congress hotel. This was many years ago.. I encountered a very flirty male spiritual presence there. I went there to attend a church service held by a visiting pastor in one of the banquet rooms.. after the church service was over..I left and walked into a empty lobby area with a open bar. I sat at the bar for a minute..It was empty at the time..A Man I could not see..I only heard his voice made a pass at me.. I heard the hotel was haunted a while later..I was in the Bar area alone.. There was no bartender..or People in that area but me... My feet hurt a little so I was there to rest up for a minute..

I decided to start taking a walk around my neighborhood for exercise. Stumbled upon Lincoln Park and felt a chill go down my back. Then I could tell spirits where trying to communicate with me. I sat on the grass by the tree and tears started to roll down my face because I could really feel the spirits trying to make contact with me. I wasn't scared. I welcomed them. Unbeknowst to me, The Couch tomb was a few feet from me. So now when I take my walks, I go by there and talk to the spirits and let them know I can feel them.

Hauntings do you not happening because of traumatic events, there’s several reasons why a spirit decides to stick around after they pass away. Firstly, if somebody passes away suddenly, i.e. - a heart attack, they actually remain in our world not realizing that their dad, and to them, we are the ghosts in the trespassers. Secondly, people who have lived a very very very long time, love life and don’t want to die, refused to pass over and stay in this world, and thirdly, a lot of times People just resist going into the light, usually because they’re confused and they’re not quite sure what’s happening, and from my many many investigations, I’ve actually heard from the spirit it’s self that they didn’t want to leave their home, most times because they’ve lived in that building their entire lives, sometimes they actually built the house themselves, and absolutely refuse to leave it. That’s why you often hear of hunting when you start to renovate the place you’ve just moved into. Put it another way, how would you like it if a bunch of strangers came into your house, tore everything apart and started ripping the walls down and building new things? I’d be pretty pissed off, wouldn’t you? That’s exactly why it’s never a good idea to renovate before moving in or at least before making sure there are no lingering spirits. 99% of the time they are actually benign, absolutely harmless people, who are just really confused or really pissed off that you’re changing everything in their home, but that 1%?, That’s when you do not want to stick around, because in any human a.k.a. daemonic hunting, can absolutely destroy not just your life, but the lives of everyone in the home. I’ve seen it happen many times, and believe me, you do not want to mess with that. If ever you encounter a demonic entity, and they’re very easy to identify, because you instantly are overwhelmed with feelings of dread, horror, anger, and they can manifest as red orbs or red mist’s... get out and get out quickly, and hire a demonologist immediately, because you’re literally risking your life by staying. These aren’t human spirits, these are demonic entities that have never ever walked the earth in human form, and who soul purpose is to torment the living. They are very difficult to get rid of, but it is possible, but it’s always best to let a professional deal with it, never attempt to do it yourself. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen families physically attacked, sometimes brutally attacked by these demonic entities, so much so that they ended up in the hospital, before they finally realize that they couldn’t beat this thing in their home, and finally hired a professional demonologist, so please be careful, but also, don’t be afraid if it’s just your run-of-the-mill hunting, they’re absolutely harmless. Just talk to them like he would talk to anyone else. A ghost is merely a person without a body, you’re not afraid of people are you? Then why should you be afraid of a ghost? If it is scaring you just talk out loud and ask it to stop scaring you, and explain to it that it is frightening you, because most times they don’t even realize that their actions are scaring the people living in the house. I promise you they’ll leave you alone.

Was interesting except for the 'professor', who keeps butting in & definitely keeps the eye-rolling going with his constant & predictable social justice lecturing about hot button issues like 'racial marginalized violence', fight for $15(income inequality), white flight & white racism, etc... I was surprised he didn't have some finger-wagging to do about maybe 'indigenous-focused racism & violence' when the Dearborn massacre was brought up....Seriously, why was he even included in this video? He literally adds zero to the subject & listening to him makes me so glad that I'm no longer in college & makes me feel sorry for those that have to sit through hour after hour of his lectures as a captive audience.

Bill Savage completely ruined the video with his constant social justice angle. Though the guy with the leather jacket was great but over all the video is getting a thumbs down.
