It's always worth it to contact the vendor and let them know your going to send it back soon. A lot of companies have that in their contracts, so if the RUclipsr doesn't make the videos or makes bad ones, its not a total loss for them. It never hurts to ask if they still want it back or if they want to sell it at a discount.
All the good rides you had on the commencal. I thought you'd keep it for sure. It seems to work so well for you. You chose wisely to keep the bird hardtail. That hardtail is future proof and you could keep for years.

The used bike market is fairly overpriced right now especially if you don't have a bunch of high end parts kicking around. You can get a new bike with current geometry for 2-3k Canadian. And the Frame is the one thing that's hard to upgrade and hard/ expensive to get. Most manufacturers are charging over 2k for just a new frame. The ten plus year old bikes are finally below 2k but the new stuff is so much better in my opinion. Upgrading an old bike doesn't make sense either. I'd rather ride a new cheap bike than an old geometry expensive bike with 26" wheels on a long ride.

I have top mamy bikes too, but too few tíme to Ride them. Such a shame... Recently I tried Ebike. IT sucks so much. Riding narrow technical terrain is such a pain. Jupming and tricks with it just sucks. Acceleration is another problem. Bike is too heavy to get enougt speed. How can you liking it?
I took time to figure out what trails my E-Bike was good on and I stick to those. Mine is great on technical singletrack. It took a while to dial in the suspension too

Im truly ashamed to say that i have an even bigger problem.... 20 bikes in garage and in the house, all 2020 or newer, most worth 4k+... Fuel Exe, RM Powerplay, Bulls Ecore, an electric bakfiets, globe haul, turbo como, devinci, nukeproof, electric tandem, etc etc.... its truly an unhealthy addiction that somehow makes me healthier?
Bro your not supposed to store ur bike upside down or vertical with the fork up cause it makes the oil in the fork sit on the fork seals and saturate one side of the seal and causes premature seal failure.
never had an issue with that over the years. I think it was an issue when they first came out with suspension forks and in the early generations but the modern stuff is fine. If they can’t seal with just gravity, how could they seal when a 200 pound rider is beating the crap out of them on rough terrain…

yeah its definitely a buyer's market. But buyers are looking for bikes less than $2000. Hardly anyone is buying used bikes for +$3000
