    I had my s280 professionally installed and dyno tuned for similar reasons and overall had a great experience. I was able to drive away and enjoy the car immediately….only later on I noticed it had a funny little blip/surge while cruising at highway speeds. I decided I wanted to add a bit more power and added injectors (Adams recommendation if I wanted to run e30) and also got a tune from Adam as well to hopefully address my weird surge. After doing some datalogging he recommended I adjust my preload because it was only hitting 10psi on the base map….so I I adjusted preload a couple of times and got it right and finalized tuning, and now my car runs perfectly! No weird surge now and my hpfp should ship any day allowing some more awesome power from Adam at tune+ 🤘
    I also had dizzy’s stage 2 and e30 tune for my stock turbo and nothing but positive experiences….I just know how much time and effort Adam has invested into the s280 in particular, which is why I went with him.

    Dizzy flash tunes are great and they worked awesome for me, but when it was time to get an S280 I got dizzy as well because I didn’t truly research tuners before. I just went with him because I had my flash tunes. When I got to my 3rd revision he told me I reached my knock threshold and left it there, CA gas quality is trash, but I was about 250 whp and wasn’t what I was expecting. When we went to E30 the car pulled hard and noticed no corrections, on my second revision cylinder one was pulling some timing and when I looked at the logs AFR was in the 12’s at WOT and went to the 13’s at redline. I was like holy crap. Boost was at 29 PSI. I get he was trying to get me to about 300WHP but the tune didn’t feel safe. Too much stress on the engine. But anyways, since cylinder one was pulling some timing he told me to check the plug gap, and then after I said the plugs were fine he told me if I did a compression check. I wasn’t going to chase a phantom problem. So I just stopped tuning and went with tune+. On my second revision he got me to 270WHP on 91. Not once did he tell me I was knocking or chase issues that I think was related to the tune than the actual health of the engine. I’m about 300+ WHP with 30% injectors now and the car runs great. Definitely recommend Adam.

    I've made the same mistake with that oil line, luckily i only drove 3 meters out of the garage before the line blew off

    Thanks for this video, I just bought the s280 recently and was doing research on a tuner and I’m definitely going with tuneplus. Was thinking about sticking with stratified but tuneplus seems more reliable

    I've been trying to sort out my S280 for 9 months. Just started tuning with Adam at tune+ now, so hopefully we can figure out what's going on. Its bleeding boost up top even on the base tune. Have pressure tested everything, new wastegate, new boost solenoid, pre load triple checked, have had 3 separate mechanics look at it as well. No one has been able to figure out what is going on with it. Honestly I just gave up on it for a few months over the summer because I was fed up with tearing it apart over and over again. Only thing I can think of at this point is the turbo itself which I hope isn't the case.

    please make more video about the fiesta. really like your video. i own fiesta 1.0 ecoboost planning to swap the engine to fiesta st 1.6 turbo. now still want to know about the engine. a lot have say that this engine is very strong. i from malaysia.

    That sounds scary. I only changed my air filter with a K&N and a normal sports exhaust. Then I put a custom stage 1 tune. My Ford Fiesta went from 100 to 143 HP. I believe that's generous enough since I am scared of breaking my car XD

      Nice!! 👍how do you like it so far? And so far experience any problems with your car with the new turbo? And do you still use the stock gear? Can it handled this enormous extra power?

      @@Lee711Shine Still saving up for it. But I plan on using supporting mods with a limited slip differential and lightweight flywheel and stage 1 or stage 2 clutch.

    I got tuned by both dizzy and adam. Adam seemed safer, he backed off way sooner and told me to upgrade the fuel system before pushing it any more. (i used both tuners because i got impatient with revisions and wanted to see who was quicker lol) with my dizzy tune, he cranked the boost at least 4-5psi more than adam. On the logs I noticed I was creeping into the 13's AFR, and I said wtf?? back off. So he agreed and backed off a little, But I still felt the tune was unsafe. I noticed under part throttle, like 12-14psi, Adams AFR would go much richer, like high 11s. meanwhile the dizzy tune barely hit high 13 AFR. Needless to say, I have been riding with Adams tune since.

    Did the same exact thing on mine! Turbo oil feed line starved engine of oil and I spun a bearing LMAO!

    I have an S280 turbo on my fiesta tuned by dizzy. 1k miles after my final tune revision I broke the ring lands on number 2 piston doing a 1-2 pull. I’m running 29psi on a 93 tune with the stock fuel system. The car ran like a bat out of hell. I’m pulling the motor apart and hopefully I can put a set of pistons in it. I’m gonna go with Adam when I get it back running. What fuel system are you running? Auxiliary kit? Or the upgraded high pressure pump with the Bosch high flow injectors?? I want to go with the pump and injectors instead of aux kit. I want to run straight E85 once I upgrade the fuel system..but that’s down the road..right now I need to see if I can repair the damage or else I guess I’m buying a short block or long block from somewhere.. anyways thanks for the video good luck with the car. Would appreciate knowing what type of fuel system you’re using Thanks man

      I’m on the stock pump and injectors. Adam has me tuned at 26 psi. Feels awesome as is. I just uploaded a new video of me beating on the car in a mountain run

      *29 psi? Full boost is supposed to be 27-28 max on stock fuel system... Dizzy one of the top tuners on this car, but if he pushed to 29, he messed up. I'm with Stratified and doing 26 psi on 93.*

      For sure..29.4 psi to be exact..fucking ripped at 29 psi.. but didn’t last long at all..

    Dude, I've had nothing but problems with Dizzy... My engine blew doing some freeway pulls with my buddies and I'm starting to think it was because of a bad tune... Also, whenever I had questions or any problems Dizzy wouldn't give me much info and always left me guessing...

    Hey I am building an fiesta st and I'm still on stock turbo and I have a stratified e30 tune on my car now and it runs good but he won't max out thr stock turbo fir me plus I am going with an s280 soon any advice where to get one?

    It’s for sure 29 psi…29.4 to be exact. Not saying 100 percent my car blew up because of the tune..I do drive the f*ck out of it..and it absolutely ripped on my final tune..air fuel seemed safe..no negative timing corrections..just simply stating after my final tune with him my shit blew up relatively quick …but damn it pulled like a freight train..I can’t wait to get it running again..nothing like putting bus lengths on a car that cost 4 times as much as the fiesta

    Hey man, can i ask if you recommend upgrading the wastegate on the S280 turbo? To 14psi wastegate? Or can i use the wastegate that comes with the turbo?

      go with a turbosmart, dont mess with the stock one

      @@NemesisDigitalMedia ah okay, my Revo tuner recommend using the s280 wastegate and not an aftermarket one for safety. But i also will install a boost gauge meter to check how high the boost pressure will be

    Disappointed to hear your story, ive had very good experiences with dizzy on my pump and e30 tunes, little bit of a wait sometimes but within my expectations. Sorry you had so many issues
