When I first got into nct back when I still was into kpop I saw that pic before knowing anything about the context of it and always thought it was such a weird photo and wondered why mark looked so uncomfortable and I thought maybe he just wasn’t having a good day or was exhausted, now I get why he’s making such an awful expression and it really hurts, these people really have no heart for their idols, let alone ones that are literal children

There should be an Anti-Saesang force that is hired just just to go around and inconvenience Sasaengs. Like creating traffic around their cars so they can't follow their idols, buying all of the seats around the members, standing in the way of their photos and leaking false location/flight information. Punching a saesang in the face is part of the premium package since it is followed with jail time lmao.

While this is a brilliant idea. Something tells me this type of thing can spawn more saesangs. Like, “oh, I’m protecting them so I’m entitled to their space” type of thing. Even so, we really need to start coming up with saesang defenses. We can’t keep letting saesangs get away with these behaviors
@@strawbeare I thought about that too. There would be a rule that prevented the Anti-sasaeng force from making direct contact/talking to the idols unless they were asked to or spoken to first. Generally the force would be used to create a gap between the celebrity and the sasaeng so they would spend more time with the sasaengs than with the idol. This is all fictional of course. But I agree that we need to find ways to stop them.
I think this is a good idea and I thought about this as well but in a different way, not actually having fans do this. Just have the company contract a couple teams, some security are to be with the group members and another set of security for creating traffic,online research (meaning if there is location/flight information leak), etc in defense against the stalkers. Pretty much having better security measures.

About the saseangs shaming each other for not buying airplane tickets: it is common for Chinese saseang to flex their money, beauty and degrees. It's like they're showing off that they're better, richer and prettier than other fans so they can be liked by the idols more. this kind of scorning is also kind of common among some chinese fans who regularly have video calls with their idols

You videos are really good in terms of research and the audio is also good. Most K-pop comment channels wouldn't do this much research and making a 50 minute video. The mostly want the 8+ minutes for as revenue and talk, like, 2 minutes over an important topic. Also, not having a bunch of Stockfotos and weird videos makes this just one of the better videos.

Second, SM did NOTHING for Chanyeol, I don't know where you get that from; he himself was the one who took the matter by his own hands. SM even made him apologize for that and then went silent about the matter. Third, Lucas never admitted anything. And if you are talking about the apology letter, that means nothing when we are talking about SM. If you want to argue about that, SM made Taeyong apologize when he was accused of being a bully back in school and in the end we learned he did nothing of that, the accuser manipulated the evidence they had against him. flytothemoon0 is friends with at least one of the people behind the accs that accused Lucas (Luxor, who is also a sasaeng), and to this day she is still in weibo sharing manipulated bubble messages from Lucas. Although yes, there are a lot of people that defend idols despite them not actually being innocent, there have been countless times where an idol was falsely accused, forced to apologize, and forced out of their group. People refuse to look at the evidence and instead push the agenda that they're guilty despite this happening so many times. It's not fully about people wanting to defend the idol because they like them, it's also about people noticing that it's fishy and wanting these crazy fans delt with.

About the „messaging through airdrop” confusion: people in China sometimes send pictures via AirDrop containing stickers (usually cringy af) or screenshots of the notes, where they just type the message, simple like that. Usually on a street or crowded places when it’s not convenient to walk up and talk to person, or they’re too coward. It happened to me few times in a bar and festivals, and I was always breaking my head how did they know which phone send the message to. But either way, I don’t go out that much and still I received couple of messages like that, one time it was even a picture of me taken from a side with a question can they have my wechat, so I would risk and say it’s a popular technique to communicate with strangers

But for real thank you for making these videos they are very interesting to watch and also brings to light why these terrible people have done and hopefully by doing that (HOPEFULLY) SM will get more and more emails to do something about it that they actually will. But it's SM so who knows. I am still new to KPOP so I don't know the full history behind sasaengs and the like but I really hope that more and more companies find ways to fight against the Sasaengs and take more action against ones that clearly cross the line like the ones you have mentioned in your videos. NO ONE deserves to have their privacy infringed like that.

Personally, what was even worse about the Lucus situation was the fact that no matter how many times fans of his and just fans of NCT as a whole was trying to sit there and show people why this didn’t make sense, especially the Chinese fans the amount of xenophobia that was coming out of the fan. Dove was so fucking jarring. The amount of people who were allegedly fans of this group Who were so willing to sit there until every single one of us Chinese have Chinese people who sat there and pointed out certain inconsistencies, dirty things I did it make sense whatsoever or the fact that we were aware of some of these people being tied to each other, and that they are soccer fans plus they had also been a video that had gone circulating around. I don’t know if it circulated her out internationally, but it definitely was circulating around within group chats of Asian fans of one of the soccer fans showing up to what we can only imagine what is the set of either their latest come back or the Lucas x Hendery jalapeño music video.
Where are they? Literally specifically you can see Lucas in this video telling them they’re not supposed to be here and they need to leave. He looked visibly upset. There was like one other staff member and I think one other member of the group there which I believe was Kun. Then right after that situation happened the music video for jalapeño was actually delete the fans picked up on it and chose to not watch it. A lot of them reported those users that were posting it off and blocking them and then less than a week later, the scandal breaks out and it was like there’s no way that this timing was just this perfect.
You’re telling me first the stockers get called out by the specific member then two weeks later, the music video that they had already shot and was edit it ends up being leaked, which mind you add. Some entertainment has an issue with people who work for them selling information about their idols. They need to do a full house cleaning and maybe pay people a bit better so that they keep their mouth shut. Also probably have everyone who works for them sign some kind of like NDA document so if they do end up getting caught, selling the shit they end up getting hit with a huge ass fine. But you’re telling me that happens and then when that does not getting traction like seven days later all of a sudden he’s a player who basically speaks Korean fluently. The messages that he had in Chinese were also really weirdly worded about half of them seemed as if they were just put through a Translator at the beginning and then later on they made more sense but by then we were well aware of the fact that some of the Chinese stalker fans had joined in, and was most likely helping them with making sure that it grammatically made more sense.
Because it’s one thing if it’s a Korean a Vans, it’s still fucked up don’t get it twisted but someone who was born and raised in Korea for a while with my life and then lived in a few other Asian countries before moving to America. As someone who is half Chinese and then half Thai & Black I understand how it is with quite a few countries when it comes to Chinese people and how they see them just like I’m aware of how certain countries see south east Asian people, especially Dealing that a lot of southeast Asians are mixed and they don’t have that very specific east Asian looks to them so seeing that xenophobic bullshit from Korean fans that makes sense.
But dealing and seeing it from international fans who are absolutely jumping on this bandwagon of he clearly was in the wrong he clearly did. This was mine blowing, and it also sat there and kind of meter read it in fact, that there’s a reason why a lot of certain minorities I can’t speak for all the like black and Hispanic, or Chinese fans but I’m someone who is a combination of this I can say that me and Para feel my friends definitely sometimes feel very uncomfortable within K-pop fandom spaces because of the absolute weird xenophobia that people will pick up on from K-pop fans from Korea, which I don’t know why any of them would do that in first place, but also the fact that so many of them also like to sit there and act, as if certain things that happen shoes that happen that don’t deal with them but deal with specific minorities can be overlooked because it’s their fave’s.
Not to mention, I also feel like way too many international fence overlooked the fact that even a Lucus was fairly popular in the group and people like him the entirety of WayV had a huge amount of people who didn’t like them in South Korea. There were so many South Korean band of NCT, who are absolutely livid and pissed off that I can eat Chinese boy group they were like didn’t you try with EXO wasn’t bad enough they didn’t even like that people forget Super Junior had to Chinese members and both of them. Basically we’re not hiatus from actually participating in the groups because of the fact that a lot of the Korean fans we’re not having it
Like one of them even did interviews after he had left the group and talked about how bad it was between the way that the company with him compared to the Korean members and then also how the cream public just saw him in general. Like people forget that there is a huge animosity. I had issues with Korea and China. Ironically, I see this as someone who also lived in Japan, and who knows the history of Japan in the absolute fucking whore is that that country has done in the past, which guess we should not hold a entire country back because of the horrendous things that they’ve done in the past but it’s like the weird fact that people can overlook that for Japan but like China. Oh fuck that shit also the fact that people act as if the Chinese government and the people of China are one in the same which is weird because it’s like we do not associate the people of America with the American government like 95% of the scene Americans don’t like the American government. It is no different in China.
But because of that outlook that people have on their country, especially other Asians, especially Koreans I feel like it does bleed into fandom‘s and that’s why this scandal particularly just went so horrendously bad not to mention at this point I’m pretty sure that SME was going through their whole internal take over.
Like by this point, there was already people trying to get Leishman out of the company and I feel like this was a scandal that they were just not willing to actually try and look at the facts or do anything for especially when you look at the fact that fans were the ones who are debunking things. It feels as if the company thought if they didn’t say anything and he let it just die out because he apologize which is there go to I feel like people forget that they also made I believe his name is chanyeol I haven’t been a fan of axle in a long time, and I haven’t really kept up with the schedules have been in, but I remember he got into schedule them correct with having like a girlfriend that he cheated on and me to get rid of a cake or some shit and he did come up with a statement apologizing even though he didn’t do it he genuinely didn’t do anything wrong and he did come out that it was made up and he didn’t do anything wrong but the company’s first thing is just always have the idols apologize first and then have like these things proven wrong.
Even though sometimes it is better to not let that it’ll say anything with the three kids situation again that was likely entire shit show but he didn’t make some very questionable comments about SA and about certain things that were circulating around this scandal that I think definitely rubbed quite a few people the wrong way, which is why I think it built fuel to the fire like once he came up with those kind of insensitive comments and said some pretty stupid things to be saying dealing that he was being accused of something even if he could prove it wasn’t true I think that’s what got her some a lot of hate to like yeah they were people who believed in what was being said within the word, those who also just looked into how he initially responded before his company came out, and then they proved certain things wrong, and I was like yeah you kind of like shot yourself in the foot though with quite a few of your ex fans and stuff because there’s there’s a way of addressing things.
Which is the only reason why I think most companies don’t let their idols address things and said have them do a blanket apology statement. Personally I just hope that when it comes especially to K-pop idols who are not Korean getting into scandals like this, the people also sit there and are aware of the bigotry that exist within K-pop when it comes to non-Korean Asians, like SME just sat there and talked about Dee being a new girl group and people who are a fan of SM rookies, and who know the names of a few of the girls who could possibly debut sat there and talked about what the possible lineup can be and the amount of Korean fans, etc. we’re like Chinese members Indonesian member , I thought Essam was done. I thought we were finally getting Korean groups back and it’s like the fact is that’s what y’all are upset about that there is a possibility that this lineup isn’t going to be nothing but fully Korean is a little disgusting but it also kind of shows exactly how quite not all, but quite a few Korean fans feel about K-pop. They genuinely feel like the idols should only be created even though it’s ironic because one of the reasons why K-pop is so huge in China, and even Japan is things to companies like JYPE, who decided to actually sit there and start debuting Chinese members, including them in K-pop, which then made. They are already kind of popularity in that country rise up because now people could see people who look like her and her from their country, representing them in K-pop, because people forget the Japan and China both have their own idol seen. They don’t really need K-pop, but they do like it but they like it more because their people are in it that’s kind of how that works.
I sometimes think SM likes saesangs bc they think having such obsessive fans will guarantee to fill up their pockets with all what they throw money at! Now I think it’s changing but they are so damn slow to it that now it’s gonna take forever bc saesangs have been in on it for decades
Hey so I've been loving your content recently and it's so comprehensive like the case-by-case explorations of the topics is just * chef's kiss. * I just wanted to thank you so much for being so clear on your stance with the whole Lucas thing because people want to act like sharks and attack whatever idols they can. The amount of misinformation and mindless drama that's made up for attention by these people is insane, and it's obviously devastating for idols who are victims to it. It's just been so disheartening to see no repercussions for saessangs (esp. for WayV/NCT because they just have SO MANY like-) and the amount of people ready to attack Lucas and idols in the same way is concerning. Anyway, yeah thanks again, your work is so needed because as the main consumers of Kpop and the industry, we're the most effective at pressuring these companies into behaving responsibly and prioritizing their idols, who are workers for them like individuals in any other regular company.

Yeah, k pop companies lack of care towards their members is one of the big reasons I left the fandom. Stalkers bring in more attention and revenue to the companies so they're willing to risk members safety for profit. Its built into the commodification of k pop idols and unlikely to change given the companies are inherently capitalist / exploitative.

yeah, with this being the second sasaeng vid i’ve done, and both stalking SM idols, there’s definitely something going on. it’s apparently known by NCTzens that SM has a lot of sasaeng workers or people who are in contact with sasaengs. apparently it’s worse with WayV, and that probably has to do with SM’s xenophobia towards their foreign artists. i don’t really know where i stay on the Lucas stuff tampoco, pero like with all the stuff i saw i’m leaning more towards he could be innocent. it’s also fishy to me that he left WayV and NCT U recently, and how he’s still in SM, id also love to know why and what happened, but i doubt we’ll ever get anything. i touched on it a bit in the video, but idols having to make these plain, vague ass apologies even when they don’t do anything is so weird to me, i don’t know why kpop companies make them do it. especially when the companies don’t help the situation before, during, or after, SM is especially bad at helping their artist in scandals. y gracias!! me da miedo aveces hablar español en mis videos porque se que algunos no me van a entender o quizás van a decir que me escucho bien fresa o algo, pero me da mucho gusto que a tantos les guste! 🫶❤️ aveces me olvido qué hay tantos latinos que les gustan kpop lol

Reputation means way more then hood morals in South Korea it seems. That’s why a lot of their social issues won’t get stopped bc it’s group think that only wants good and pure things and even if people can change it’s still a danger to them so they rather cut off anyone that poses a threat.
It's terrible to think about what idols have to endure when being stalked by crazy fans. With Lucas case: Surely many people already know the truth about the false accusations about him. Lucas is the most unfortunate case that ssf has caused. He has even lost all his reputation since the 2021 scandal. However, I still hope he will come back strong and successful as a solo artist.

It's really sad that a young person wastes their life with an obsession. A delusional fantasy. When they are forced to face the truth they get pissed off. Parents give her money to go do what she wants. They don't want to be around their crazy daughter either. That's a lot of money. Definitely wasn't hers. Why are most saesangs from wealthy families? Just glad all the guys were safe. Things went south but they are alive and healthy. That's what matters. Idols probably suffer from PTSD. They all need to create a therapy group. hello!! this was a great video and i appreciate your exposing of this sasaeng who seriously should be in jail for life for everything she has done. as a wayzennie and kuanggong and nctzen who lived through the mess of 2021, i have a very complex opinion on lucas and the whole thing. while i do agree that the sasaeng very likely had a big hand in what was said about him (she already showed what she could do by saying shit about kun) but i also find it difficult to absolve him of all the allegations which till this day, have not been formally declared true or false. especially with the way his letter was phrased (i also read and speak chinese so not as much mistrans stuff) and the recent statement from his docu that indicates he has had some part in what was said about him. to me the main reason finding it hard to formally believe these debunk threads, which i admit have some extremely valid points, is that they are debunked by his fans hence they are more likely to swing with the only narrative that he is innocent. the central issue rather, is sm's mishandling of this situation which could've been resolved as well as mingyu's which had a decently similar tone at some point, and the lack of answer from sm sadly makes it seem that he was in some part guilty. for what? we still do not have a clear answer. hence, i think it better to treat the issue with more caution and nuance rather than saying he is blatantly innocent or guilty bcos till this day we still do not know.

@@starsparklemonkey3390 if you think he is for sure innocent and that i hate this man, then i think you’ve missed the whole point of my comment. i’m trying to highlight that it’s not exactly easy to say who’s completely im the right or wrong due to a proper lack of evidence that is supplied by legitimate sources. while fans providing evidence isnt wrong and comes from a good intention of clearing his name, it’s inherently biased to view him as totally innocent.
based on what we know as actual facts which sm has failed to properly give, it skews me to believe he was some part guilty and i never said he was totally at fault. at the end of the day, my opinion won’t change what you think and that’s fine. i just thought there should’ve been more nuance in the video about lucas due to the complexity and vagueness of the issue. was it due to the sasaeng completely? we might never know. my main gripe with him is due to the collateral damage that falls on wayv as a result, they were literally in limbo for at least a year and could not do anything about a situation that was not of their own accord.
so i’m not apologising because everyone feels differently about this situation and i hope you can accept and understand that. i do not hate this guy, i just think its difficult to label him as this complete victim when seriously, we do not have the full story. as a wayzennie, i have struggled with how i view their ex member and this is purely what i’ve come to terms with so far.

No police cases filed in any jurisdiction in either Korea or China, despite SM throwing Lucas under the bus. And finally the sasaeng freely admits she made it all up.
That's enough solid proof as far as Im concerned. Im not digging in my imagination to invent crimes for him.
