He didn’t say it was an embarrassment to deliver cookies he said it was to cross state lines to deliver it when there was 43 locations that have cookies on the way they could have ordered from.
I've been doing this for 6 years and Iove it. Since the summer slow down and the new tier program where I'm stuck at silver I don't get deliverys or when I do they're backwards. I used to be able to make a living wage. Now I go out for the day and I'm lucky if I'm making $25 The call just aren't coming in anymore. I'm on multiple apps but we're just so oversaturated with drivers and people don't have money to be ordering food. Guess it's time to start working on my resume so I can find other employment. Sending love from Los Angeles💜💛
"One of the Greatest jobs" , love the positivity 🤟 For me, it's giving myself 100% control of how much I want to make and staying active no matter how I feel. Hadn't deleted the app , but I pretty much quit door dash , too. UE in my market has less volume, but, in general, better offers. Still get a few crap offers, but more offers are acceptable
I have to agree with you on that I worked and did irrigation for five months had steady work. Yes we had some good days. Yes, we had some bad days but I still had steady work unfortunately I got a call last Sunday from my boss and said I’m temporarily laying you off, there is no work. I cannot find any jobs for us to do so now I’m back doing Uber eats and DoorDash. I have put my résumé out there on indeed and these W-2 jobs. Just want to pay you junk wages to work you like a slave out in 100° heat, especially down here in Florida, I just look at them and laugh because that is so messed up even $20 an hour is not enough anymore. Everything is so damn expensive so I have no job is safe. I thought I was safe at one time and I finally figured out that I am not, safe with any job
The offer at 2:37 , yeah that is definitely a 'catering' sixed order. I had one a few weeks back for 13 bucks 6 miles. Was 13 Wendy's meals with drinks. Had to take a hit on my completion . I have NO way to handle thirteen drinks. I deliver on a 125 cc motorscooter. Nope 13 drinks not happening

Gotta say this is a good job for independence. What does suck now is doordash new platinum requirements where dash anytime is the key to making money. Sol @ $155. You only need to take about 7 sol off the table to buy that third set of tires on your delivery hoopty and another 5 sol for the upcoming brake pad and rotors job. If you do it soon that is. Once malalapaloozah gets annoited there goes 25% of you gains anyway in unrealized gains taxes. Might just as well have something to show for your money
5:59 it's wild how people have the audacity to leave a penny tip. When I see these on DD I'll accept and then ignore it. Typically it takes 15 minutes until DD removes you from the order. You'll take a hit on your completion % but it's worth it to send a message to the penny tipper 😂

Cherry picking orders is a must to prevent burnout. I feel like the algorithm only favors drivers that take the crap $5 for 10+ mile orders.
