Alone suggestion for your bottom of your kitchen cabinets….when I do mine a put on the top of the bottom shelves is the stick on laminate floor tile that the big box stores sell its cheap and waterproofs those bottom shelves from whatever liquids you might store there…..it’s cheap to do this and add a dash of pizazz

Yeah 👍 when trucking in Minnesota I was hit with -38f 20mph winds and the heat in my semi was barely working , I bundled up in front seat and closed my curtains to bunk to keep what little heat I had in my front area, as the blizzard blew in I looked at my phone and called my mom, spoke with her about her day and just every day stuff, I didn’t tell her the situation I was in, why worry her I just told her how much I loved her and wished her a good night, I fell asleep wrapped in 5 blankets but dang my truck had frost all on the inside of doors and dash!! I asked the Lord to forgive me of all my sins , told him they are so many I can’t remember them all but know if I opened that door where I locked them up I would get trampled to death, he knows each and every one small or big and that’s what I am asking forgiveness as I forgive everyone who sinned against me in voice or action I forgive them. I shivered myself to sleep, woke up next morning when a snow blower came past me throwing more snow onto my already covered truck. The sun was out and although still cold that sun was a blessing, the 1400.00 tow bill to pull me out of snow drift 10 ft yeah I wasn’t happy about that
I love the color Army Green. I usually stick with nature colors. Your such a hard worker! This cold weather is good for Ham Hock & Bean Soup that I'm making
Lol, talking is warming you up. First time ive heard that one😊. I would want a bigger stove for that size cabin. Once had a Pentagon. It stayed warm 8-10 hrs shut down at night. I put a dutch oven of grain on before bed & had bfast done in the morning. Ironing for sewing: I cut the cord off an electric iron from 2nd hand store and heat up on wood stove. My winter projects are always longer than winter! Youre awesome. Blessed 2025!

I have discovered the perfect forever cure for color matching: I paint everything green. 😂 It's my favorite color. Also, I'm autistic and rarely if ever have any visitors. That coupled with the fact that I live alone, there's never anyone here to say no. It's like being a 76 year old little kid! 😊

I see. I’ve gone through quilting and bag making phases over the years, but dressmaking always reigns supreme. My weight is fluctuating after cancer treatment so although I would like a bespoke dress form, I definitely need to wait. Have you seen the duct tape dress firms? I don’t think Kenai would be able to cut you out of the fabric and tape. I’m not much of an ironer, but I do press every single seam after I sew it. That is one thing which elevates clothes from “ homemade” to “ handmade”. I could buy clothes cheaper than I can make, but I like to use high quality fabric which is expensive. And I am quite slow, because I want to achieve the best results that I can

I think the only episode of Star Trek I remember is Trouble With Tribbles. They just multiplied and were everywhere. 😁 I like to sew, but I don't have a machine at the moment. I want a Singer Slant O Matic, they were made in the 50's and 60's they are all metal no plastic parts. It's best machine Singer ever made. Do you have a treadle? The rotary cutting tools make cutting out a project so easy. I'm looking forward to seeing your new videos.💖💖

Hello Alone we're having a mild winter here in the mountians of Utah as well so far that can change in twenty minutes. Supposed to snow tomorrow and get much colder. You are absolutely right about problems multiplying seems things never break when you don't need them. I've learned as an off grider prepare prepare. But there's always some little things that go un done. Such as life happens deal with it.

I had to laugh when you showed Kenai all dressed up with his boots and a jacket. I'm not sure if the look on his face was total embarrassment , or I'm nice and warm LOL. He reminds me a lot of my black Lab Holley that we had for 16 years As someone who has collected guns for almost 50 years, of course it peaked my interest when you started talking about your guns, and I am curious what all you have, if you are comfortable talking about them. I can tell what two of them are by seeing the magazines that you took off of the shelf, but I've never gotten a good look at the one that you wear when you go outside. At a quick glance it looks to be a Ruger Blackhawk, or Super Blackhawk. Either of those in 44 magnum would be a great choice when you have beers in the area.

MY FRIEND LIVED IN ALASKA and used to sprinkle HOUSE CAT URINE around edge of property. Told me bears can't tell house cat from mountain lion and it helped keeps bears away.

Love the size and shape of that desk! The final color looks nice. My office is painted pale mauve, with a Huge right return Yellow desk. I am always color starved, though I have lots of color everywhere. Winter here ( pathically mild compared to you) sucks me dry. You have done so much work there. Your vids are always interesting.
