I watched the qb school’s analysis of Aidan oconnol of the raiders and the difference in coaching is evident. Multiple plays with improper blocking and receivers jogging out their routes on the raiders. The culture in Texas is remarkable… these guys are giving it their all.
That's how Coach Slo calls plays, not just indiv plays, but different versions out of the same play structure. Confusing the defense, especially #24 here 😊
Heard some people suggesting that people affiliated with the Texans might have been the ones spreading that around to scare people away from grabbing CJ at #1. Sounds like cope to me, lol...
As a panthers fan, I knew CJ was the clear best qb in the draft...but until this past week, I didnt feel like disappointment we didnt get him. Ive just felt annoyed that we have bryce young and thought our team is run by morons. Watching this game...I feel almost like we missed out on the next Mahomes and that feeling sucks lol the panthers deserve everything happening to them right now.
I thought the same. He pulled out of some pass rushes and dropped some little dime throws and it reminded me of Mahomes or Rodgers almost instantly in his own way
@@gummybear41283 okay let's not overreact lol and Mahomes is already at that level. Won two more superbowls than Marino ever did, halfway to Montana's total. We'll see what happens with CJ, I think he's the real deal but Mahomes is already an all time great quarterback with a chance to reach GOAT status.
I remember when scouts were saying since CJ scored a low 18 on the Wonderlic test, he’ll be a complete failure while Brice Young ,who scored a 98 , is guaranteed success. Look how reality turned out. It really diminished the credibility of this idiotic Wonderlic.
I have Stroud. And he is very exciting saying he has a bad O line. But guys realize he also has literally the easiest NFL schedule this season. As an Eagles fan, I knew Hurts had the easiest in 2022. Perfect situation to grow as an NFL QB!! Now Hurts is facing 11 playoff teams in 2023. Whole new ball of wax!!
Rookies most certainly do this, See "Ben Roethlisberger", CJ put up highr numbers, but as a rookie in 2003, Ben was Stellar, CJ needs to do it for more than one game before you start printing his HOF Ballots. btw, he is on my fantasy team YAY
Awesome performance and 😊 on break down. I started Stroud last week. Is he a must start now. Also, U have Fields, Stroud with Kyler Murray coming off PUP, which QB should I drop or Trade? Thanks!
This might be a stretch… in the first clip, when CJ is dropping back, did he do that odd bend down to hide himself behind the lineman and make it harder for the Safety to get eyes on the throw release??? If so, that is absolutely wicked IQ and insanely small details in CJ’s package.
As a panthers fan and a buckeye from birth, we f’d up. Hard. Said it the day of the draft and I’ll say it til the cows come home. Stroud’s a generational player, Young’s a talented bust. He shouldn’t even have been put in this position, he’d probably develop better as a backup.
i get the hype, but no one will ever have as good a rookie year as Big Ben Roethlisberger. dude went undefeated as a starter. he didnt have the flashy numbers, but he got the dub.
What until next year to see how successful his career will be. Once teams get a full years worth of tape on him they'll play him different. If you need an example; Russell Wilson. Besides that it's more than him, his line and receivers are playing descent football too.
A beg to differ as a Bucs native & fam our history on rookie QBs from PJ, Minshew ,Heineke against Brady 20 playoffs ,Kirk Cousins “you like that game “etc etc in the playoffs is why he playing now lol our D has always let them eat smh lol
I truly do not know how Carolina would've drafted Bryce Young over CJ Stroud given the physical differences alone which is VITAL for the quarterback position, given that perhaps Drew Brees was the ONLY "short qb" in NFL history at 6ft to truly become an elite QB and Young is merely 5'10" & further how impressive CJ performed in the playoffs vs Georgia last year... I know for sure the Panthers will regret this for years to come ESPECIALLY given the fact they gave up so much to move up to #1 :-///
As a panther fan i hate our owner more then anything possible. I knew stroud was gone be great but its lookin like hes going to be a Hall of famer in his first 5 years...smh i hate life rn i just wanna go back to 2015 with cam
If C.J. had gone the 'right' way, the rusher would've been closer to him AND the Brown would've had less time to get downfield. Slowik was kind of vanilla in the first two games, then CJ asked to be turned losse and everything changed.

Became a CJ fan when he was at OSU I just couldn't believe he lost to ttun twice but now we know...CJ can make all the throws we're so proud of him Go BUCKS
Now we know why with Michigan's cheating.
This just made me want to see Colt get a shot as an oc
I don't understand it, every NFL analyst always talks about how important it is to win as a passer and CJ was the best passer inside the pocket in college football. It makes no sense why he didn't go 1
CJ for MVP
I own a Colt McCoy jersey!
love the technical breakdown! Thank you
I watched the qb school’s analysis of Aidan oconnol of the raiders and the difference in coaching is evident. Multiple plays with improper blocking and receivers jogging out their routes on the raiders. The culture in Texas is remarkable… these guys are giving it their all.
Love the analysis! You guys rock!
Yep. When he can play a finesse game in an environment where he's not allowed to be hit... he's great.
Absolutely love this channel
It just shows everyone how good the Ohio State program is..America's Team OSU
Tank Dell is a budding super Star
That's how Coach Slo calls plays, not just indiv plays, but different versions out of the same play structure. Confusing the defense, especially #24 here 😊
As good as stroud might be, I give a shit ton of credit to the OC, who will be a head coach sooner than later!
Don't jinx us like that lol
Nah, we're gonna make him an offer he can't refuse, give him an obscene amount of money to stick around a couple more years
Lets hope Texans few Superbowls trophies and CJ started calling plays on tge field, before Skowik head for HC else where.
Slowik play calling is inconsistent. Stroud is the reason why this offense looks good.
@@1hendrixx7some ppl still won't give the kid any credit
This was so fascinating. Subscribed.
Nice analysis guys .... outstanding!
Bro we ran the first play in high school it really is a simple route that pump fake by cj was elite tho
CJ and Tank he wanted Tank he told the front office draft him. They did..Go Coog's /Buckeyes!
*cries in panthers fan*
Panthers owner are happy with Bryce Young 😂😂😂Texans fans "Thank You Mr: Tepper"
Sicko Mode 🏈
CJ's going to break all the quarterback records in the NFL going to be the best
Let’s go Texans and always hookem 🤘🏽
Bro use to watch Cult play back in the day when texas was a beast back then 😥
I heard CJ scored bad on the NFL cognitive test though 😂 I love how that was the narrative going into the draft 😆 never forget
Heard some people suggesting that people affiliated with the Texans might have been the ones spreading that around to scare people away from grabbing CJ at #1. Sounds like cope to me, lol...
Great Video, new subscriber.
Thank you Colt. Hookem Horns.
Next year CJ will be calling plays on the fields.
That would be amazing, he could you never know
As a panthers fan, I knew CJ was the clear best qb in the draft...but until this past week, I didnt feel like disappointment we didnt get him. Ive just felt annoyed that we have bryce young and thought our team is run by morons. Watching this game...I feel almost like we missed out on the next Mahomes and that feeling sucks lol the panthers deserve everything happening to them right now.
I feel you man I was praying we got cj and now we gone watch Houston still our future
I thought the same. He pulled out of some pass rushes and dropped some little dime throws and it reminded me of Mahomes or Rodgers almost instantly in his own way
CJ is already better than Mahomes, he’s headed for Marino, Montana level
@@gummybear41283 okay let's not overreact lol and Mahomes is already at that level. Won two more superbowls than Marino ever did, halfway to Montana's total. We'll see what happens with CJ, I think he's the real deal but Mahomes is already an all time great quarterback with a chance to reach GOAT status.
CJ is amazing at executing, but Bobby is going to be hard to keep hold of in the off season
Can't believe my panthers passed on him
I love how Case is always the most hype😂
Texans legend in his own right!
I remember when scouts were saying since CJ scored a low 18 on the Wonderlic test, he’ll be a complete failure while Brice Young ,who scored a 98 , is guaranteed success. Look how reality turned out. It really diminished the credibility of this idiotic Wonderlic.
What a great channel. SO much more enjoyable than listening to the nauseating drama queens on ESPN et al. Thank you. Subscribing.
CJ should get bonus points in the fact that Damieyon Pierce didn’t play in this game. Dude is probably their best offensive player.
Thanks!
Start Stroud over most QBs that aren't Hurts, Mahomes, Allen or Lamar unless he has a better projected matchup than they do.
Thanks I agree, just need verification. I appreciate your input. Traded Murray today
I have Herbert n Stroud. So far Im seeing Boom at Home,, bust on the Road with Stroud
I wonder how much different it would of been scoring wise if they had a kicker and didn’t have to be aggressive
Colt bout to be an OC soon. Hook ‘em
This might be a stretch… in the first clip, when CJ is dropping back, did he do that odd bend down to hide himself behind the lineman and make it harder for the Safety to get eyes on the throw release??? If so, that is absolutely wicked IQ and insanely small details in CJ’s package.
That's what happens when you're a smart HS kid choosing to go play for Ryan Day and THE!
As a panthers fan and a buckeye from birth, we f’d up. Hard. Said it the day of the draft and I’ll say it til the cows come home. Stroud’s a generational player, Young’s a talented bust. He shouldn’t even have been put in this position, he’d probably develop better as a backup.
🔥🔥🔥
i get the hype, but no one will ever have as good a rookie year as Big Ben Roethlisberger. dude went undefeated as a starter. he didnt have the flashy numbers, but he got the dub.
What until next year to see how successful his career will be. Once teams get a full years worth of tape on him they'll play him different. If you need an example; Russell Wilson. Besides that it's more than him, his line and receivers are playing descent football too.
#LETCJCOOK!
He was robbed of the Heisman because of Michigan cheating.
That corner and safety messed up that final plays read so badly.
A beg to differ as a Bucs native & fam our history on rookie QBs from PJ, Minshew ,Heineke against Brady 20 playoffs ,Kirk Cousins “you like that game “etc etc in the playoffs is why he playing now lol our D has always let them eat smh lol
Capital A+ Anticipation...
Colt can evolve into a great OC or coach
Damn Colt McCoy looks like Jake One lol
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Colt can still play in this league
I truly do not know how Carolina would've drafted Bryce Young over CJ Stroud given the physical differences alone which is VITAL for the quarterback position, given that perhaps Drew Brees was the ONLY "short qb" in NFL history at 6ft to truly become an elite QB and Young is merely 5'10" & further how impressive CJ performed in the playoffs vs Georgia last year... I know for sure the Panthers will regret this for years to come ESPECIALLY given the fact they gave up so much to move up to #1 :-///
Your owner is pissed, he knows he blew it
As a panther fan i hate our owner more then anything possible. I knew stroud was gone be great but its lookin like hes going to be a Hall of famer in his first 5 years...smh i hate life rn i just wanna go back to 2015 with cam
CJ will be one of the best QB’s ever. Panthers blew it
If C.J. had gone the 'right' way, the rusher would've been closer to him AND the Brown would've had less time to get downfield. Slowik was kind of vanilla in the first two games, then CJ asked to be turned losse and everything changed.
DO I START STROUD OR BURROW NEXT WEEK AHHHHHHHHHHH
that corner had a bad day LOL
I feel like the Carolina panthers had miss their shot at drafting CJ Shroud in my opinion
Colt looks like he could be a freshman in college !!
Panthers GM should have already been fired
Crazy that he was better in college than Colt ever was.
Calm down bro
@@spartan_a1176 calm down? You good? No one is hyped here.
You can see Colt just admiring how ridiculous CJ Stroud’s arm is (especially in relation to his own). Phenomenal analysis though.
And THEY said he was a "BUST" now THEY said they told everyone he that they were right 😆 🤣 😂
who said he was a bust?
I honestly believe CJ will be better than Tom Brady? Thoughts?
