    News broke after our production deadline that Mary Poppins actress Glynis Johns (1923-2024) and Starsky & Hutch star David Soul (1943-2024) had died. They will be covered in next week's video.

      @@julianwalls1077That is truly disgusting. Using people as test guinea pigs without them ever knowing, truly horrific. I'm not 'woke' or one for jumping on bandwagons, l prefer look into things, then make my own mind up. But in this case l have to say l see nothing but racism. I love Australians, but I am aware that a number still treat the Aborigines like they are 2nd class, or less than human. It is disgusting, heartbreaking, to wonder how many little ones suffered or died over these tests. I bet the ones in charge made darn sure their own kids were safe. Fair enough, but don't the lives of all innocent children matter?? We have similar matters here where our Native & Aboriginal & Inuit people up north have been treated like **** for decades! So we can't claim any human rights trophies either. The original owners of this country in many places still have to boil drinking water, some not even a long drive into Quebec, not a long drive from Justin's office in Ottawa! Wth government of Canada, we have to be all PC & woke...til it comes to our own Aboriginal population, no doubt you heard last year about the mass children's graves near residential schools. We were killing our own babies!! I may be white, but they are my people & countrymen too, l can't believe we killed our own babies! The evil that happens when church & government work together....sorry for the rant, but it feels good to say it and get the anger out. I wish you peace + health in 2024!🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦

    Tom Smothers death hits hard 😢. Even though I'm Gen X, I've been a huge fan of the Smothers Brothers for over 35 years. Happened when I happened upon an episode of their sitcom they did right before the Comedy Hour.
    I knew it wasn't far off since it was announced a few months ago that Tom had lung cancer. Heart goes out to the Smothers family who also lost their sister Sherry earlier in the year, and shortly before that, Tom's son also named Tom. Here's to a better year 🎉

      The list is long but notice the ages of the deceased. People are living longer, and the Baby Boomers are mostly in their 80's. Not being rude, all death is tragic to their family and friends. But 80+ is age "goodish" age as my grandmother used to say. She lived to be 92 and was born during the Great Depression, my father is 83, and his brother is 84, and still alive and kicking. But most of their friends are passed. So yes, the list is long, but a lot of lives well lived. ❤

    Laura Lynch was the girl that the other two Dixie Chick's threw under the bus, they did it because a big wig in the music business went to the other two behind her back and told them if they got rid of her and took his daughter into the band he'd make them into star's, so they completely blind sideded her and screwed over their old friend.
    But there is justice in the world, shortly afterwards some guy she was dating or maybe they were married hit on a massive hundreds of millions lottery ticket.
    So good for her, she got to be probably richer than them and she didn't have to sell her soul to do it.

    • @RockinDaBoombox
      @RockinDaBoombox 6 месяцев назад +5

      That is not how it happened, but keep trying to make the others look bad. People should go google the Dixie Chicks and see that Lauren chose to step aside to allow the others to pursue bigger dreams. Lauren wasn’t interested in becoming popular. Get your story straight before putting others down.

That usually describes someone who's flat-out exposed another person's hidden agenda to protect their own interest(s) however I've never heard of Laura coming into any lottery fortune til now...Interesting!
